I was still dumbfounded and Mas Darwin had already arrived from the bathroom. He rubbed his wet hair with a towel and saw his phone on the floor. I hurried to pick it up and handed the phone to Mas Darwin.

Before Mas Darwin could ask what happened, I immediately said, "Mas, Alya called. Sorry I picked it up. Darwin was in the bathroom."

After that I rushed out of the room. Darwin felt strange in my unnatural way. He held the phone and saw that the call had been cut off. Then the phone rings again.

"Honey, why is the phone just disconnected?" Sapa Alya from across the channel.

"Hmm...." Darwin was a little confused because he was not the one who answered the phone.

"Darling, go home!" alya said softly. "I'm sorry to you. I've cancelled my contract with Doctor Aldi. Since you left I have canceled it. For me you're the most important, honey."

"Go home! Don't be mad at me anymore!" Alya pleads.

Darwin was silent.

"Come, Honey! I need you. Tomorrow morning I want to control the womb, I want to make sure our baby's healthy." Alya's words made Mas Darwin flinch.

"Our baby?" murmured to Darwin.

"Yes, Honey. Our baby tube program was successful. You know how glad I am to know. I'd like to let you know right away, but your phone's never on."

"I know I may be wrong in your eyes, but please don't punish me like this, dear! I'm really not cheating and don't have any feelings for Doctor Aldi. I promise I'll cut off all communication with him if you don't like."

"I just love you, baby." Alya mean. "Don't torture me like this! Go home! I need you so much right now."

Meanwhile, outside the room I stared at the bowl of soup in front of me. 'Why should I be so disappointed when I hear Alya is pregnant?' my inner.

I shouldn't have expected more. We will not get divorced. 'But, why do I feel such great disappointment like this?' I don't feel my tears dripping.

I try to strengthen my heart as much as I can. 'Mas Darwin is not mine, he belongs to Alya.' I was just a distraction, nothing more. 'You should always remember that, Rania. Never expect more!' I shed more and more tears in my eyes. 'Everything will be over as soon as this child is born.'

The more I realized it, the more I sniffled. I should be happy because it turns out that in the end Mas Darwin had a child from his beloved wife. Thus, her desire to have a child in my womb will at least be slightly reduced. He will have a child with the woman he loves.

However, that fact somehow made me cry even more. I wiped my tears, put the spoon in the soup and ate it with such a heart. I forced my throat to swallow the soup, even though it felt like I could barely eat it because of my broken feelings.

I ate it while shedding tears. At the same time, my mother looked at me from a distance without me noticing.

In the afternoon Mas Darwin said to me, "Rania, I'm going back to Indralaya this afternoon. Take good care of our son!"

I just nodded slowly. Then, Darwin met the mother who was in his room.

"Mom, I want to go back to Indralaya." Darwin said goodbye while kissing my mother's hand.

"Why do you have to go home today? Tomorrow is still a holiday. Monday just entered work," said the mother.

I cannot prevent the return of Darwin. He could only say, "You're an adult. Solve your problems wisely!" Darwin nodded and finally left the house.

The house suddenly became quiet. I was pensive in my room and without even knowing how to shed tears. "Mom's been through what you're going through right now." Mother's words made me look towards the doorway.

Mom was standing there. He said, "Darwin's father left me to meet another woman."

"Deg!" Heart's beating. What does mother mean? 'Did she already know there was another woman in our marriage?'

"About a year ago, I heard Darwin's news often with Alya. People think they're husband and wife." I was surprised to hear mother's words. From the direction of his conversation it seemed like he already knew my problem.

"Mom didn't want Darwin to go on to meet Alya and have an illicit relationship with her. I don't want Darwin fornication. Therefore, the mother forced Darwin to get married immediately so that he forgot Alya and married lawfully."

"Before marriage, mother had asked Darwin to sever all ties with Alya. I didn't think she'd keep in touch with him even though she was married to you."

I just kept quiet hearing Mom's words. He stood before me, looking at me who had just bowed down. He then touched my shoulder and said, "Rania... You are Darwin's legal wife. You are carrying her child. Don't give your honey a chance to get rid of you!"

I was stunned and immediately turned to mother as soon as I heard the word 'honey'. "Mom knows already ... Mas Darwin ... married Alya?" I asked nervously.

Mother nodded and I was quite surprised because it turned out that she already knew Mas Darwin had married Alya. "When did you know?" ask again.

"Mom heard in Darwin's room saying you have to be fair to both of you" she said. "From your talk I understand that Darwin must have had more than one wife and I'm pretty sure it must have been Alya. Which other woman could make him cheat besides Alya."

"Don't let that actor take your husband!" press mom. "Preserve what is yours!"

"But, Mum...." Speech ceased. I noticed the emotion-looking face of my mother. "I am the actor." I said later.

Mom scrunched her forehead, not understanding. I said, "I am the third person in their household. Long before marrying me, Mas Darwin had married Alya."

Mother's lips are shaking. "Ja-di..the news is true," mummified.

"Hehhh... Hehhh...." Breath snorted.

"Mom, are you okay?" I asked when I saw my mom sitting down.

Mother's view is empty. Then, slowly he said, "I heard the rumor that Darwin was married. For years I tried to cover my ears. I don't want to believe it. I always try to think it's impossible for my son to be like that. I don't want to care a bit about that rumor. I really don't want that to happen."

"But that's the truth, ma'am," I said. "Mas Darwin is married. I'm the second wife."

"I'm the second wife" I said. "I was fooled and trapped in this marriage." I was in tears and could not accept the reality I had. I looked at mom.

Mother silences. I don't know what he's thinking. He just shut up and left my room with a shackle. Meanwhile, I .. I curled my head down with tears I could not hold.
