Pregnancy Jeslyn

Doctor Sarah nodded. "Why does my son look like that?" ask Dave when he sees the size of the baby who is still about the size of a pea.

"Of course, my pregnancy is still very young. The shape will be clearly visible when it has entered the second trimester." Jeslyn is forced to explain to her own husband before Doctor Sarah opens her mouth.

"really?" Dave looks enthusiastic. "What age can we see the gender?" Dave's question was actually directed at Sarah's doctor but Dave stared at his wife.

"The age of 10 weeks can already be," replied Dr. Sarah. "If Mr. Dave wants to know in detail about the health condition of the fetal chromosomes, we can do the NIPT test later."

"All right." Dave turned to look at Dr. Sarah. "Then, when can I see my son's face clearly? I'm really curious who he'll look like."

Jeslyn sighed. He hasn't even thought of getting there. "When the age of the womb reaches the age of 26-30 weeks the fetus's face has been perfectly formed" explained Dr. Sarah.

"If our daughter is a girl. I hope he looks like you, baby. She'll be as beautiful as you will be." Dave seemed to be imagining his son's face if it resembled his wife's.

"What if our son is a boy?" asked Jeslyn curiously. Jeslyn felt that Dave liked girls more than boys.

"Better he looks like you too. Don't boys usually tend to look like their mothers?"

Doctor Sarah just smiled at the chatter of her husband's wife who was in front of her. "Yeah, but I think if our boy is a boy, it's better to look like you."

Dave immediately frowned. "Why?"

"For our son to inherit his father's good looks. Your genes are better than mine."

"I'm not handsome, baby. I'd rather our kids look like you."

The two of them are seen continuing to argue until Jeslyn's drug comes along.

"Then we'll excuse you. Thank you, Sar," said Jeslyn when Sarah's doctor gave her the medicine.

"Yeah, careful. Remember not to think too much. You can't stress, Jes," advised Dr. Sarah before Jeslyn left the room.

"Yes, I understand."

"Call me if you have anything to ask."

Jeslyn nodded after that she came out together with Dave.

After returning from the hospital, Dave immediately asked Zayn to drive the two of them home. He no longer returned to the hotel where he was staying. Dave deliberately went straight home so that Jeslyn could rest comfortably in their room.

Dave also asks bi Sarti to cook his wife's favorite meal. Zayn goes to the hotel where his boss is staying to clean up his boss's belongings and takes him home to Dave's.

"Honey. You better take a break. You must be really tired, right?" Dave had just helped Jeslyn to lie in bed.

Jeslyn nodded immediately. He felt a little tired and sleepy from lack of sleep. "You're not sleeping?" jeslyn asked when she saw Dave just sitting on the edge of the bed.

"No dear. I'll take care of you." Dave changed his seat and leaned on the bed next to his wife. "Sleep, baby." Dave pulled out the blanket and kissed his wife.

Jeslyn began to close her eyes as Dave began to gently stroke her hair. Half an hour later, Jeslyn seemed to have fallen asleep. Carefully Dave got out of bed. After making sure his wife wouldn't wake up, Dave walked into his study.

In the afternoon Dave returned to his room to check if his wife was still sleeping. Dave stepped very slowly when he entered his room. He saw Jeslyn still asleep. He then went into the bathroom to clean his body. After the shower, Dave wakes up Jeslyn.

"Are you still tired, baby?" dave asked when Jeslyn had opened his eyes. Dave called out to Jeslyn several times until he finally opened his eyes.

"No. I've been feeling better. My body feels fresh after sleeping." Jeslyn woke up from her sleep. "I want to take a shower first." Jeslyn got out of bed.

"alright. I've prepared warm water if you want to soak."

Jeslyn nodded. "Yeah. I'll take a shower." Jeslyn walked towards the bathroom.

Dave already felt calmer after knowing the condition of the fetus in his wife's stomach. He wasn't as happy as he was before they went to the hospital.

After seeing Jeslyn enter the bathroom, Dave picked up his wife's change of clothes, after which he walked out of the room. Dave walked into the kitchen. He wanted to ask bi Sarti to prepare snacks and milk for his wife. Before returning home, Dave asks Zayn to stop by the supermarket. Dave asked his assistant to buy him pregnant milk for his wife according to the brand mentioned by Jeslyn.

"Master, the food and milk are ready" Bi Sarti said, carrying trays in both hands.

"Please take it to the room, Bi," asked Dave politely.

Without waiting for long Bi Sarti directly walked towards Dave's room on the second floor. While Dave is waiting for his assistant to come bring his and Jeslyn's belongings.

At night, Jeslyn and Dave were sitting quietly on the balcony of his room. Dave forbids Jeslyn from sitting on the balcony of their room for fear that Jeslyn will get sick from the night breeze, but Jeslyn insists that he is bored.

Dave finally agreed on the condition that Jeslyn should wrap herself in a thick blanket. Jeslyn had no choice but to comply with Dave's request. She thought it was better for her husband to obey than for him to be in the room constantly.

"Dave, I'm sorry for my pregnancy, we have to cancel our honeymoon plan" Jeslyn said after drinking ginger wedang that was made by bi Sarti at Dave's request.

Dave embraced his wife's body wrapped in a blanket. "It's okay, baby. Our goal on our honeymoon is for you to get pregnant fast. Our goal has been achieved. You don't need to feel guilty, baby," Dave said as if he knew what his wife was thinking.

"But you've spent a lot of money preparing for our honeymoon in Europe, Dave."

Dave shifted his body slightly to face his wife. "I'm grateful to know so early about your pregnancy."

Dave can't imagine what it would be like if they didn't know about Jeslyn's pregnancy when they went on their honeymoon to Europe. It would be very dangerous for the womb to travel air travel in a very long time especially they will visit several states in Europe.

"Have you told mom about my pregnancy?"

Jeslyn immediately remembered his mother-in-law. When their wedding was over, her mother-in-law told her to call her 3 hours before their departure for the airport. Her mother-in-law intends to take her son and daughter-in-law to the airport.

"It has. I am so happy to hear about your pregnancy. Even he wanted to come here right after I told him, but I directly forbade mama to come here."

Jeslyn's forehead immediately wrinkled. "Why did you forbid you to come here?"

Dave sipped his tea slowly. "I want you to rest, baby. You're definitely not going to rest if mom comes here" Dave said.

News of Jeslyn's pregnancy immediately made Dave's mother eager to meet her daughter-in-law. Dave asked his mother to come the next day so Jeslyn would rest first. Not without reason Dave forbade his mother to directly visit his wife. He clearly knew that Jeslyn was very tired due to their wedding party that lasted quite a long time. Not to mention the night Dave kept Jeslyn from sleeping until morning.

"You can ask Mama to stay here, Dave. Mama must be very disappointed that you forbade her from coming here."

Jeslyn felt bad for her mother-in-law. She could understand the feelings of her mother-in-law who was very happy with the news of her pregnancy. Grandson was the thing he had wanted so much all along. Although now her mother-in-law never urged her to have children again, Jeslyn knew that her mother-in-law still wanted grandchildren from her.

"No dear. Mama understood after I explained about your condition."

"Hhmmm," murmured Dave while nodding. "Darling, we better get inside. It's getting late. The night wind is not good for you."

"Yes." Yeah." Dave took his wife inside and asked her to lie down on the bed.

Time has shown at 10 p.m. Jeslyn looks not sleepy yet. He decided to sit back while watching television.

Dave just got out of the bathroom. He walked straight to his wife. "Darling, I went to my office first. I'd like to do some office business for a minute."

Jeslyn's face immediately pouted. "I don't want to be left alone, Dave."

"I'm just a minute, baby. There's a file I need to check." Dave tried to persuade his wife that he would be left for a while.

"Then I'll come with you." Jeslyn started to get out of bed.

"You just wait here, baby. I won't be long. You won't feel comfortable because there's only a sofa there." Dave didn't want his wife to be exhausted from waiting for him in his study. He also doesn't think Jeslyn will get bored later.

Jeslyn immediately turned her face to hear the rejection from Dave. He sat back on the edge of the bed, turning his back on Dave who was standing behind him. Dave approached his wife when he saw Jeslyn just silent while looking down to play the edge of his shirt.

"I'm afraid you'll be tired baby if you upload me in the study, '" Dave said carefully. He knew that right now, his wife was sulking.

Jeslyn was still silent. He did not respond to Dave's words. "alright. I'm not going to the study. I'll accompany you here." Dave was forced to abandon his intention to go to his study. He intended to ask Mark who checked it out later.

"really?" asked Jeslyn while looking at Dave.

"Hhhmm," murmured Dave, "then lie down, dear." Dave led his wife to get into bed.

"Take me along until I fall asleep, after that you can just go to your workroom" Jeslyn pined. She immediately hugged her husband's body when Dave was already lying next to her.

"I'm not going anywhere, baby. I'll ask Mark to check on her later" she said, stroking his wife's hair so she could fall asleep.

"I love to sleep in your arms, Dave" Jeslyn said without feeling embarrassed. Usually he would not dare to say that. I don't know why lately he's been more willing to say what he feels than to hold it.

Dave smiled broadly. He was very happy to hear his wife. He just realized Jeslyn's strange attitude behind this was related to his wife's pregnancy. His wife's mood changes happened so quickly. She cried easily and she looked more spoiled than usual. Dave only understood now the reason for the change in his wife's attitude. "It seems like our son wants to always be close to his father."

Jeslyn just smiled as she inhaled the scent of Dave's body which made her feel calm and comfortable. Being hugged by his wife made Dave have to try hard to hold back. If only Jeslyn had not been pregnant, Dave might have devoured his wife.

Half an hour later, Jeslyn's breath began to be regular and Jeslyn seemed to have closed her eyes. Actually Dave also felt tired because he was lacking rest. That was why Dave easily fell asleep not long after he closed his eyes.
