The Celine family (Bonus chap)

Levin forcibly retrieves the toy that was in Celine's hands. "This is mine. Never touch it." Levin raised the toy with his right hand while staring flatly at Celine. 

Celine's face immediately turned grim. He dared not protest Levin because the toy was his.

"Levin, lend it to your sister for a minute."

Jeslyn doesn't understand why Levin doesn't like Celine that much. Since Celine's arrival at their home, Levin has continued to act coldly towards Celine. He was even seen bothering Celine a few times when she was playing or just studying.

"Don't you like that toy anymore?" asked Jeslyn with a surprised face.

Jeslyn has put Celine in the same school as her son. Levin went to elementary school, while Celine went to Kindergarten. Due to language barrier. Often Celine was ridiculed by her friends for not fluent in Indonesian.

Fortunately, Levin and Celine schools are international schools that use English as the main language in their schools so that Celine is not too difficult to understand the lessons. Only sometimes his friends deliberately speak Indonesian to make fun of him who is not fluent in Indonesian.

During this time, Jeslyn and Dave always communicate with Celine using English, although so little-by-little Jeslyn teaches Indonesian to Celine. He even called a private tutor to teach Celine so that she would quickly fluent in Indonesian.

Levin sat on the sofa with an indifferent face. "This is mine. I don't like it when other people touch it" Levin said casually, "and, one more thing, he's not my brother, Ma. I only have one sister, Jen."

Jeslyn let out a long sigh looking at her son's cold demeanor. "Until when can't you accept Celine's whereabouts? Hasn't he ever bothered you?"

Celine could only duck. He knows that he is only an outsider. Although he was a child, he understood that Levin did not like his presence in the house.

"Until mom takes him away from here" Levin said flatly.

"Levin..!! You don't go too far!" Just this time, Jeslyn yelled at Levin. He felt that he had failed to investigate Levin so that he had antipathy toward others.

"Mama yelled at me??" Levin seemed to not believe that the mother who had been gentle with him, could snap at him just for defending someone else's child. "Just because of this kid??" show Levin to Celine.

Jeslyn took a deep breath and then exhaled. "Levin, watch your attitude. He's your sister. Like it or not, you have to accept being in the middle of our family," Jeslyn softened again when she saw her son's shocked face.

Dave's mother who had just come from the park with Jennifer was immediately shocked by the sound of Jeslyn who had risen.

"What's up, Jes?" Dave's mother hurriedly approached her daughter-in-law and granddaughter.

"Mama yelled at me just for defending that kid, Oma," Levin told her.

"Levin's gone too far, Ma. He asked me to kick Celine out of here. Though he knew that Celine no longer had family" Jeslyn said with a frustrated face.

Dave's mother approached Levin who was sitting with an angry face. "Levin, listen to Oma. If you don't like Celine, you can ignore her. You don't have to bother or disturb him. Let's just say he's not here. Don't hate him too much, honey. Just ignore him."

"Yetoo."

Jeslyn was about to protest but was immediately given a code by her in-laws to prolong the problem. The nature of Levin is not much different from Dave, of course Jeslyn's mother-in-law knows that the more Levin is forced to accept something he does not like.

The harder he was against it. That's why Jeslyn's in-laws told Levin that. At least Levin wouldn't bother Celine anymore if Levin was being indifferent to her.

Jeslyn was just a wiggle of heads. "Celine, come with me." Jeslyn finally took Celine away to the back garden. She felt sorry for Celine for always being bullied by Levin.

Arriving at the back garden, Jeslyn invited Celine to sit beside him. "Darling, I'm sorry Levin? He does look a little rude when talking but actually his heart is good" explained Jeslyn while stroking Celine's head.

"Yeah, Mom. Levin's brother wasn't wrong. Celine is indeed just a hassle here," Celine said with a lowered head.

As much as possible, she held back her tears. He was already used to Levin's always thin and unfriendly attitude towards him. During his 6 months of living in the family, Only Jeslyn, Dave and Dave's Mother treated him well.

Jeslyn grabbed Celine's body and hugged her. Her tears were dripping from feeling guilty towards Celine. He began to think that his decision to bring Celine into his family was the wrong one.

His intention to guard and protect Celine instead turned to injure Celine. He begins to regret his decision, if he does not raise Celine, maybe he can be happy with a new family or live happily in an orphanage.

"Sir Levin wait."

Celine takes Jennifer by the side while chasing Levin's steps as he walks through the school gates. Just now the three of them were escorted by Jeslyn to school. Levin is currently in junior high school in grade VII, while Celine is in elementary school in grade 4 while Jennifer is in grade 1 primary school.

Levin looked back. "Eat goes faster. I can be late if I wait for you two" Levin said.

Levin was still acting like Celine as usual. "Sorry, Brother." Celine is seen running small with Jennifer chasing Levin's steps.

Levin stopped his steps and looked at Celine. "Never call me sister at school. You're not my sister." Levin left Celine after speaking.

"Yes, I understand."

Celine smiled as she followed Levin's steps. Celine had gotten used to Levin's cold attitude towards her so she was no longer heartbroken by his attitude.

"Bad brother," cried Jennifer as she stared dislikefully at her brother.

"I'm going to complain to mom if you like to scold Celine" Jennifer grumbled.

Levin paused then stared indifferently at his little sister. "I don't care." Levin sped up the pace, upsetting Jennifer for feeling tired of chasing Levin.

Jennifer is closer to Celine than Levin. At first Jennifer didn't even know that Celine wasn't her real sister. That's why he often gets angry with Levin if he scolds Celine and says that Celine is not his sister.

Celine lowered. "It's okay. Levin's brother does, but he knows he's good." Celine then walked in a different direction to Levin. The primary school is on the left side of the building while the primary school is on the right.

While on break, Levin dropped out of his class. He intends to go to the toilet. Her steps came to a halt when she saw Celine being insulted and made fun of by her friends. It is no secret that Celine is the adopted daughter of the Dave family.

Everyone knows that Levin doesn't like Celine so they dare to disturb Celine because they think no one will protect Celine at school. The school Levin and Celine entered was Levin's grandfather's school so everyone knew about Tjendra's family lineage including Celine's only adopted child.

Celine was surrounded by 5 girls and 1 boy. Actually Celine was used to getting insults from her friends. Sometimes his friends are rude to him. He was doused in water several times by his friends. Locked in the room.

He was even pushed to the point of falling down so that his elbows and legs were bleeding. When asked by Jeslyn, he admitted that he accidentally fell while running. Celine had indeed never fought them because she was unwilling to look for trouble.

Levin was seen staring intently at the corner of the hidden passageway. It was there that Celine was and was surrounded by her friends. He instead did not dare to fight back just unwilling to complicate matters. In fact, if Jeslyn and Dave knew about the treatment of his friends, they would definitely defend Celine and make a showdown with the parents of the bad boys. Once again, Celine didn't want to trouble Jeslyn and Dave.

Seeing Celine not resisting at all, Levin directly walked towards Celine. "Are you tired of going to school here?" Levin's voice instantly shocked everyone there.

"Sister," Celine said as she looked at Levin with a surprised face.

Celine's friends instantly turned pale. "We're just kidding Levin, aren't we, Celine?"

The curly-haired girl immediately stared at Celine, giving her the code so as not to complain to Levin.

"Yes, we're just playing."

Levin's eyes are getting colder. "Go from here. Don't you ever dare bother Celine again."

The children who were bothering Celine instantly immediately left at a quick pace.

"Is your brain left at home? Why are you being treated like that with them?" Levin looked emotionally at Celine who looked helpless.

"I'm fine, brother."

"Wake up soon." Levi looked impatient looking at Celine who was just sitting down while cleaning her clothes.

"Yes, Brother."

"Follow me." Levin walks ahead of Celine to the dressing room and bathroom.

"Did they bother you often?" levin asked when they were in front of the bathroom.

"No, Brother."

Although Celine lied but Levin guessed it. He began to think that all this time the wounds obtained from school were the work of Celine's friends.

Levin stared intently at Celine. "Are you afraid of them? Do you want to trouble me?"

"No, Brother."

Levin sighed. "Hurry up and clean yourself up."

Ever since Levin caught Celine being mistreated by her friends, Levin has often watched Celine secretly without Celine's knowledge. Levin takes care of Celine more than his own sister. Even Levin's attitude began to soften on Celine.

He's not as cold and cold as he used to be. Even though Levin was, he still rarely spoke to Celine. After the incident. Levin asks his grandfather specifically to take out the children who bullied Celine and treat her harshly without Jeslyn and Dave's knowledge.

At first his grandfather did not want to because Levin did not want to tell him why. Until finally Levin is willing to tell the reason on condition that his parents can not know. His grandfather agrees and Levin reveals that Celine is often bullied by his friends.

Of course his grandfather did not believe that. He then asked someone to investigate and proved his grandson's words and eventually the children were asked to move or dishonorably dismissed. Celine had never been bullied again after the brats left school.

Celine's life slowly began to improve. Levin though cuckolded her but she started treating him well. No more words from his mouth. It was just a flat and indifferent attitude that he could not eliminate from her.

Dave and Jeslyn's attitude is also very kind and affectionate to him. They do not discriminate their love. Celine's happiness doesn't last long until one day, someone looks for her and tells her that they are her family who have been looking for her for a long time.

"My name is Felix and this is my wife Sandra" said the man in his 40s who introduced himself when Dave was just sitting in front of them.

"Are you really Celine's family?"

Dave looked suspiciously at Felix and Sandra. Dave just feels weird why they just came after so many years.
