Always sleep with you
Dave lifted his head to look at his wife. “Darling what can I.?” Dave intended to ask Jeslyn for permission first.
Jeslyn was doubtful. “But, I'm not ready Dave.”
“Didn't you really want a child from me?”
“Iyaa it was, I've changed my mind.”
“Why?”
“Aren't you going to divorce me after Felicia gives birth to a child for you? I don't want my son not to have a father figure after our divorce.”
Dave stroked his wife's cheek. “I told you I would never divorce you Jeslyn. I'll divorce Felicia if you're pregnant. I won't press you again, if you're pregnant with my son.”
“But, I still doubt you..”.
Dave kissed his wife's lips briefly. “I won't force you if you're not ready." Dave wakes up, keeps his body away from Jeslyn. He sat on the edge of the bed and covered his wife's body.
“Dave, are you mad at me?” jeslyn asked as she saw Dave seem speechless after he rejected Dave's wishes.
Dave turned his head and gently rubbed Jeslyn's cheek. “No, I'll wait for you until you're ready. Sleep, it's night,” Dave said gently.
“You didn't sleep?” jeslyn asked while looking at Dave.
“Sleep first, there's still something I have to do.”
Dave moved next to Jeslyn and leaned back, then grabbed his phone. He tried to check out some of the work he left today.
"Why haven't you slept yet?” dave asked when he saw that Jeslyn had not closed his eyes. “Do I bother you?”
Jeslyn shook his head. “No,” the answer is short.
“Dave, did you really not know that I was here because of work?” asked Jeslyn while tilting her body.
Dave looked over for a moment. “If I had known, there was no way I would have been so angry with you! I even left all my work to catch you here when I found out where you were. I flew here directly on my private jet.”
“Then, how did you find my hotel?”
“I asked Zayn to find out, he came with me here.”
“Where is he now? Why didn't I see him?
“He's in the room I ordered. Right in front of your room. I even had to pay 2 times as much to the person who had booked the room so I could keep the room. I want to watch you from the inside. I plan to catch you. Turns out you weren't there, I had to wait for you until you came home,” Dave said.
“You can ask the hospital chief if you don't believe me. I came here on his consent. We came here five Dave, not just alone with Dion,” explains Jeslyn.
"If it's for work, why didn't you tell me when you were going here?"
"The night before I left, I sought you out for permission, but I did not find you. I've also been looking for you to Felicia's room, but no one has opened it, so I decided to go back to my room and go to bed" Jeslyn explained.
"When I woke up, I was surprised to see you next to me. I wanted to wake you up for permission, but I paused when I saw your tired face."
“Then, where did you guys get home last night?”
“I went to my parents' house, traveled around town and then went to Pakuwon City.” Food Festival
“You've even invited him to your house here, how can I not be jealous. I've never been there.” There was a hint of envy in Dave's words.
“Didn't I ever take you, but you don't want to?”
“I'm sorry baby, I didn't want to, but back then I had a big project that I couldn't leave.”
“No, I didn't tell him.”
“What if he finds out then gets angry?”
“I don't care about him,” Dave replied indifferently.
“But, hasn't your relationship improved with him? You're even sleeping with her now.”
Dave looked at Jeslyn. “I never sleep in his room.”
“Then where did you sleep? you never slept with me either.”
Dave smiled thinly. “You alone don't know. I always go back to our room when you're asleep, I always sleep with you.”
After the argument between Jeslyn and Dave, Dave came to their room after Jeslyn fell asleep. She even sleeps hugging Jeslyn. He would wrap around Jeslyn and kiss her on the forehead before moving into his study.
He always moves in at 4 a.m. He did that almost every night for a week or so. Hence, when Jeslyn woke up when she was leaving for Surabaya, she saw Dave in her room and was hugging him. He woke up earlier than usual.
“Really? But, why did I never see you when I woke up?”
“Before you wake up I've moved into the workroom and slept there.”
“I'm sure I never saw you, I thought you were sleeping with Felicia.”
“I went to his room on purpose before you went to bed. I want to know how you react. I want to make you jealous, but it turns out you're quiet, not jealous at all.”
Jeslyn was embarrassed to think that Dave was sleeping with Felicia. She remembers her heartache when she found out that Dave had chosen to sleep with Felicia. It seems that his guess has been wrong all along.
“But, why did Felicia also say you slept in her room?”
“He deliberately provoked your emotions, so that you would get angry and quickly divorce with me.” Dave answered while playing his phone.
“He did manage to provoke my emotions. If there's no agreement, I've filed for divorce with you.”
Dave immediately stopped his finger that had been busy moving on the screen of his phone. Dave looked at Jeslyn in the face seriously. “Never say divorce again in front of me. Till whenever I'll never divorce you Jeslyn, no matter what.”
“Sorry Dave.” Jeslyn said in a soft voice.
Dave put his phone on the nightstand. Then turn off the room lights and leave the sleep lights. “Sleep baby, it's already 1am,” Dave said as he put his body in the same blanket as his wife.
He grabbed the almost innocent body of Jeslyn and hugged her. Their skin touched leaving warmth on their respective bodies.
Jeslyn never imagined that his relationship with Dave would improve like this. She had not expected this day to come, the day that Dave treated her gently and affectionately.
Jeslyn looked up at her husband. “Dave thanks,” said Jeslyn returned Dave's embrace. Jeslyn hugged Dave tightly as if afraid he would leave.
Dave lowered his head, his breathing down Jeslyn's face. “For what?” ask Dave slowly. “Thank you for loving me.”
“Hhmm.” Dave smiled faintly and kissed Jeslyn's lips. “Sleep darling.”
