...Sister of Ipar Malang ...

...Chapter 11 The Beginning ...

Evan POV

I am Evan Pramudya Sakti, the youngest of two children. Having an older brother named Elan Fadil Firdaus, only five years apart from me. I was married to Laras, my younger brother from college.

The first time I knew Laras was when he was interning at my parents' company office. Turns out we're a division and he's my subordinate. I was amazed by what he had. She is beautiful, intelligent, independent, brave, not chatty, and not very aggressive towards men.

I finally dropped my choice on Laras, to get to the wedding. He fits my criteria perfectly. Far from the definition of women who are often referred to by the word 'troublesome'.

Until I met Lilis, my own sister-in-law. He's the opposite of Laras. Spoiled, chatty, submissive, very caring about the surroundings, her behavior is also very adorable.

Lilis was spoiled, but she was very considerate. The attention he did not make, was purely from his heart. Able to shift a bit of my very cold and indifferent personality around. Until I was unaware, I sometimes compared between Laras and Lilis.

During two years of marriage, Laras very rarely cooks at home. It can even count fingers. At first I understood, considering he was also a career. But over time I felt like something was empty. This marriage is cold.

"I'm hungry. Can you get me some food?" ask me one day when I just got home from work. Laras seemed to be home earlier than me.

"I'm so tired. We'll just take it, yeah. While waiting, you take a shower first." The barrel is still lying on the mattress with the phone in his hand.

I just answered with a murmur. Then entered the bathroom. We don't have a housekeeper staying at home. The reason is because Laras is not used to strangers. So, there are only people who will clean the house during the day. Like a worker at home.

During dinner, we chatted not far from work. He told me about the company he worked for, and the vacant post that was being contested.

Yes, after we married Laras quit my parents' company, for complying with the requirements. Spouses should not work together, to avoid household problems brought to work. Although the parent company itself, but we still obey it.

Before going to bed I wish there was a pillow talk. Some kind of small talk other than work. Or he's spoiling me. That doesn't seem to apply to my wife.

"Don't you want to confide in me?"

"What's the conversation about?" he answered while closing his eyes. Looks like he's going to sleep.

"About your daily life, besides work."

"Nothing is." Barrel opened his eyes, then glanced teasingly. "Why not just the point?" His lentic fingers swirled over my chest with seductive intent.

We also have a relationship that has been halal done by husband and wife. I admit he's great in bed, enough to take care of my complaints about him.

In the morning, Laras was tidy in his office clothes when I came out of the bathroom. He also had my office clothes ready on the bed.

"Have you cooked us breakfast?" I dry my hair with a small towel.

"No. We'll have breakfast at Mom's." The barrel is still preening in front of the mirror.

"No need. I'm just having breakfast bread."

"Will not go to Mom's? Sure?"

I replied with a murmur, then put on clothes immediately. Why separate the house with the parents, if the meal also remains in the home of the parents. They still live in one housing with their own parents.

It's always like that. Every time he was told to go down to the kitchen he always reasoned. It's okay if it's night, he's probably tired after work. At least for breakfast, make it with his own hands, can't it?

"Aren't you willing to make lunch for me?" I asked while wearing a tie.

"Why should I bring supplies? The food canteen in Papa's company office, the quality is above the standards of other companies. Even the cafeteria food in my company worked out a lot. Why should I eat home cooking?"

"Yes, already. I'm leaving first. I have to show my best to the company, so that I can be selected as one of the marketing manager candidates who is currently empty."

The tasting barrel*p my lips at a glance. Then step towards the door. "I might be late tonight. You can eat at Mom's house first, yeah." Then it completely disappeared behind the door.

I exhaled violently. Missed my mother's care in the house. I really miss the cooking. Where might I go to the mother-in-law's house. There will open up the disgrace of the household later.

"Assalamualaik." It was Lilis' voice.

"Getishalight." It's true that Lilis. "Come, comein!"

"No need, brother. Here I bring breakfast from Mother for Sister Evan and Brother Laras. Um, which Laras, huh?" Heads wobbly.

"He has gone from now on. Are you going to school now?"

"Yes, Brother. Afraid to miss the bus."

"Then we go together. We happen to be in the same direction, right?"

"Eh, no, brother. What breakfast is Brother?"

"Let's take it to the office. Just a minute."

"Really, Brother? Yey, pretty shitty fare."

I move food into the container. Then put it in my office bag.

I just smiled faintly in response to him. Plain and innocent. It is a pity that girls seem to fall into the hands of men who br*ngs*k.

Throughout the trip, we had a light conversation. It is different when together with Laras. We're either silent, or busy with the cell phone. I compare them both again.

I asked about my boyfriend. The answer makes me smile.

"I haven't thought about a boyfriend. Can be cut out of my pocket money with Dad. Besides the pocket money I still ask the same old man. So, maybe for dating it's a matter of late."

If I were his father, I would do the same thing as my father-in-law. How could I have allowed her innocent brain to be tainted with things that were not enough for her age.

As he spoke, his face gave off all sorts of expressions. Makes me have to hold my hand so I don't pinch her cheek.

I don't know when I've been comparing Laras to Lilis. In terms of age, mindset, and personality it is clear they are both different.

Arriving at the office I headed straight for my room on the tenth floor. Surely after escorting Lilis safely to school.

As soon as the door opened there was already someone sitting in my room. Who else would dare to enter without my permission, of course Elan, my biological brother.

"Do you want to send a message from your mom again?" ask me directly without stale bases.

I immediately sat on my oversized chair, and struggled with the pile of paper. As long as I can do it while doing something else, it doesn't matter. Because I'm not the kind of person who likes to waste time.

"Today this Sunday, Mama asked that you take Lilis home. Mama said, uh, I'd like to take Lilis out to make a cake. There's a new recipe he said."

"Why should I?" ask me without stopping the job.

"I can't, must accept clients from Kalimantan. We have an agreement, right, if Papa's weekend is time. So you're the only one free."

My parents were closer to Lilis than Laras. Barrels are too cold and indifferent as women. Plus he rarely goes in the kitchen, in contrast to Mama who likes to experiment in the kitchen.

"Mama also inquired about her pregnancy program Laras. Has it produced any results?"

"How to run promil. The person alone is hunting as a marketing manager candidate. He was determined to get the position."

"Women full of obsession. Horrible."

"Eat him, brother, get married quickly. Let's know what it's like to be hunted by Mama about grandchildren." I snorted in annoyance.

"If my candidate were still alive." Elan's face turned sad.

Ah, I mispronounced it like.
