Sister of Inpar Malang

Chapter 17 Application Accepted

POV Lilis

"There is a ban. In-laws are not at home, the only ones at home are my future wives. How can I let my future wife be at home alone with a man like you," said Kak Devan while pressing the word 'Wife Candidate'.

"Wife candidate?" ask the surprised sister-in-law. His eyes widened wide for only a moment, then returned. Unfortunately, I got to see it at a glance.

I was also surprised by Kak Devan's statement just now. This heart rippled to hear the word come out of his mouth. As much as possible to withstand the smile that wants to be on these lips.

"Yes. My future wife." said brother devan with a mocking smile.

Kak Evan's facial expression hardened, both of his eyebrows wrinkled, his eyes looking at Kak Devan sharply.

"Lilis is pregnant with my son, I am entitled to be her future husband" she grumbled.

"Ck, not self-conscious. Already have one wife, still not enough?"

Brother Devan is relaxed to face the anger of Brother Evan, or is he deliberately provoking the anger of the husband of Kak Laras?

I was only able to stare at the tension of these two people in front of me. Don't know what to do. Brother Evan is ready to raise his fist.

"What's this?"

Everyone looked at the origin of the voice. My eyes sparkled staring at the savior of this situation. The other with the two of them who put on a shocked face.

"Dad!" call me with a smile.

I immediately ran to hug Father who came at the right time. Then hide behind his back, which has been a staple of strength in this house.

"Evan, Devan, what's going on? Why are you here at work like this?" Dad looked alternately at the two of them.

"I just want to see Lilis, Dad." Brother Evan's expression was back to how it was. As if nothing happened.

"I have something left behind" replied Brother Devan, but glanced cynically at Brother Evan.

"Today Lilis has a therapy schedule to the psychologist, I'll take her. You better go back to your office."

"Can I come?" ask Evan.

"Can't!" answer Brother Devan quickly.

"Can't, Evan. You two better get back to the office. Or do I call your Papa, if anyone here skips work?" threatening Daddy.

Brother Devan smiled with satisfaction. Brother Evan looks very disappointed.

"I'm good-bye, Dad." Brother Evan kissed her in-laws' hands, then looked at me.

I lowered my head, pretending I didn't care about him. I used to kiss her hand when I was going to say goodbye, out of respect for her older, but now no, after that. 'I'm sorry for being disrespectful, Brother-in-law.'

"Assalamualaik."

Seeing no response from me, Brother Evan waltzed away from the house, after saying his greetings, and was answered by us almost simultaneously. There was the roar of a car engine that slowly disappeared, leaving the courtyard of the house.

"Why are you still here?" ask Father to Brother Devan.

"I should thank you. If I hadn't come quickly, Lilis would've taken Evan away."

"Is it really like that, Lis?" ask Dad while making sure no part of my body is scratched.

I nodded weakly. Had Brother Devan not come in time, I could not have imagined what happened next.

"Oh, yeah. Why can you come home so soon? Continue to know that Brother Evan came to the house, right .. only Kak Devan," I said at the end of the sentence.

"So Devan called Dad, he said Evan came to the house. Remember that you are alone. So, Dad's in a hurry to get home. You're nothing, are you?"

"No, Dad. There was Kak Devan who came on time, so Kak Evan's intention to take me away, was not done," I said with a shy look. Shame for still not giving certainty to Kak Devan. But he has helped a lot..

"Om, this is serious. If we let our guard down, if there's any more loopholes, Evan will definitely keep coming here to see Lilis, persuade her to marry him."

Dad looked at Brother Devan closely.

"Therefore, I had said that Lilis was my future wife, so that she did not continue to seduce Lilis to marry him. I'm sorry, Lis, it's been so presumptuous to say that you're my future wife" she continued.

"What's wrong, brother," I said with a smile.

Brother Devan's eyes exude seriousness, so does Father. Everything's silent. The two of them looked as if they were making plans through telepathy.

They immediately looked at me with surprise. Probably confused, because I suddenly said that.

A big smile spread across the lips of my future husband. Brother Devan raised both hands, then gave thanks. "Alhamdulillah, so also marriage." Sumringah's face. "Om, I want to marry Lilis as soon as possible. If it could be a week from now."

Dad and I were surprised, but after being noticed, there was no joking face shown by Devan.

"You want to hurry, not because of keblet, right?" ask Dad.

"Of course not. Why Om always has low thoughts about me."

"Indeed like that the truth is," Dad sneered raising the corner of his lips next door.

I just patted the jidat. The two of you, if you've gathered together like a cat and a mouse, but strangely can be compact in an affair. Father will also come out of his attitude, only to Brother Devan. Signs that Dad is close to her.

"Since Lilis has accepted my proposal, I will prepare all the necessities of this marriage. But, we will only marry siri first, to cover up your disgrace and family. You're okay, Lis?" asked Kak Devan clumsily, while scratching his head which I believe is not itchy.

I nodded in agreement. This alone means a lot to us. Hopefully with this Evan stops to chase me.

"Hopefully your marriage goes well, nothing will bother you. I didn't expect Evan to do that. If you can, no violence. He's my son-in-law, too."

"Give it to me, Om. Evan obviously only knew that I was Lilis' future husband, but he didn't know that our marriage would be held in a week."

"Why don't I get married tomorrow? There is still a week, do you want to give a gift of a honeymoon ticket to Bali?" ask Kak Devan, who managed to get a lot of love from Dad.

*****

I really don't go to school anymore. The dream of becoming a teacher, a dream since childhood, must be extinct. Just counting the days, my status will change, becoming the wife of Devan Mahendra Putra.

Grateful, her parents blessed our marriage, but unfortunately, they couldn't come. Besides being busy, they also do not want to attract the attention of Evan. Because this marriage was kept secret from him.

I walked towards the window. From here, you will see a view of the flower garden in the yard next to the house. It was me and my mother who planted it. From the seeds that buy in the store, or ask for the stem pieces of the plant to the neighbors.

After marriage, will I stay here, or follow my future husband? I will miss all those memories.

Too washed away in daydreams, I gasped when a hand slapped my shoulder gently. I looked to the right. A handsome face, with sturdy jaws, and beautiful brown eyeballs, was displayed in front of my eyes.

"Aren't you home from work?"

"Hm. So solemn daydreaming, until no one knocked on the door. So, I'm just going in."

He was standing right next to me. His eyes stared forward with his hands in his pants pocket.  Then look at me with a shady smile.

"Not now is the habit of entering the room directly nyelonong?" sindirku.

"You, right, my future wife. Must learn to get used to it, because after marriage we'll be one room."

'Your mouth, Brother.' I blushed, turning my face away from her. Take another look out the window. Looking at the flower plants and grass that were swaying in the wind.

"There's your classmate, Sindi. He's waiting in the living room."

My eyes sparkled hearing my best friend's name called. "I'll see him soon."

"Be careful! There's a baby in your stomach. Don't be careless!" his sweat.

"of course. Thank you, Brother."

Rushed out of the room, leaving Brother Devan alone in my room. Let it. No valuables can be stolen from the room. I'd better go see Sindi soon, so I don't wait long.

Arriving in the living room, I immediately hugged my best friend. Expressing longing to my classmates as well as my friends. He said after tutoring he went straight to my house, to see if it was true that I was out of school. I answer what is.

It didn't feel like I and Sindi had been chatting for two hours. From telling stories about classmates, to handsome Bollywood or KPop artists. Sindi said goodbye to go home.

I drove my best friend up to the terrace. Saw the girl get out of the gate, and disappear behind the turn. Our house is not too far away. About 20 minutes if you walk.

When he turned around, there was already Brother Devan standing behind me. Our distance is only one step apart.

"Did you tell her we're getting married in five days?"

"Yes, Brother. Is there a problem?" tanyaku plain.

He was silent not answering. Just looking at me with a look that doesn't mean anything. Being stared at like that, I felt like I was speaking wrong.

"Sindi, buddy. So I believed him," I said softly in defense of Sindi.

"No matter how close you are to someone, never let your guard down. I'm not telling you to suspect him, but be careful of everyone around you. Stay alert, even if it's me, the man."

Then Devan turned around, went inside the house. Is he mad at me for telling Sindi about our marriage? But, why does he seem to dislike Sindi? Kak Devan did not like Sindi, he met recently.
