Chapter 47 (Surprise From Evan)

"Look, Siska put the proposal in Kak Elan's resort. I happen to be assigned there. His CV says he needs a job because his mother is sick. So, we surveyed the truth of each of our prospective workers.".

Bi Tirah. "Why should Aden be alone? Is there Aden's men?"

"I just want to go for a walk, Bi. Looking for another air." Evan's reply made Bi Tirah smile.

"Oh. This Aden. His habits never change." Bi Tirah chuckled, patting Evan's palm. Evan's face turned relieved, as Bi Tirah believed it just like that. Fortunately, I can find a reason. A bit of nyleneh. 

"Auntie remembered when Aden was a child. I like to run away when I have extra tutoring at home."

Evan gave a small smile hearing Bi Tirah's words just now. It is true, Evan often fled to the village near his parents' house while there are private lessons at home. Unfortunately, before being able to play with other children, Evan was captured by his mother's bodyguard. 

That became one of the reasons, why Evan was flat and cold. Unable to socialize and stiff. 

"So Den Evan has met with Siska?" ask Bi Tirah.

"Yes, Bi. Come on, Auntie come with me! We'll meet Siska there." Evan kept trying to get Bi Tirah to come with him.

Bi Tirah shook his head. Makes Evan wonder.

"Auntie's hard to walk, Den." 

Evan slightly revealed the blanket that covered Bi Tirah's legs. Both of his legs are swollen, even two fingers on his right leg have been amp*tasi. Looks like the sugar disease has been long and severe.

"I'll order a wheelchair."

"No need, Den. Aunty doesn't want to bother Aden."

"No, Bi. This is not troublesome at all. My aunt used to be very patient taking care of me. Let me now help take care of Auntie."

"alright. Aunt follow. Thank you." Thank you."

After the reserved wheelchair arrived, Evan and his employees took Bi Tirah to the car. Then back to the resort. In the car, the two of them had a little chat about each other's circumstances. Like Evan who is married, Elan is still alone.

Evan did not think that what he experienced in Bali, instead brought him back to meet his caretaker when he was a child. His parents would also be very happy to hear this news.

"Let's meet Den Evan!" take Bi Tirah to Siska.

Siska looked at Evan hesitantly, between fear and unwillingness. The face of Evan called Aden by his mother was indeed very handsome. Probably the most handsome man she's ever met. Unfortunately, it is very flat, cold, and rigid. 

Then Siska looked towards her mother. Her mother's face was beaming as she talked about Evan. In Siska's mind wondering, what is the relationship between the two of them. 

"I–iya, Mom." Siska stutters a little.

"Eh, I forgot. You will apply for a job here, you certainly know Den Evan. Yes Forgive! Sorry I am everything, understand is old," said Bi Tirah a little embarrassed. 

Siska wondered in her heart. What did his mother mean, who said that Siska applied for a job here.

"Siska, but you haven't been acquainted with Nak Devan and Nak Lilis have you? They are Den Evan's sister-in-law."

Then Siska met Devan, and Lilis was like the first time she met. Devan and Lilis were silent, following how this groove went. Then everyone sat back on the sofa, except Bi Tirah who was in a wheelchair.

"So, this Bi Tirah is you, Evan?" ask Devan a second time. Because the first one was cut off by the sudden presence of Siska.

"Bi Tirah was my nanny and Sister Elan was, as a child," Evan said.

Siska rounded her eyes. Don't ask what his heart is. It's definitely dag dig dug serr. He almost framed his mother's former employer himself. In fact, his mother once said that Evan had been considered a child like him.  

Devan pulled both corners of his lips flat, while Lilis wanted to know Siska's reaction. It was exactly with his guess, that Siska's face looked extremely shocked.

Evan's face was flat, ordinary. Not like before who seems to hate Siska so much. Maybe Evan has more legowo to accept an apology from Siska, because it turns out he was the son of his nanny first.

"Isn't this anyone ready for Bi Tirah?" devan asked, pretending he didn't know. He just wanted to hear straight from Bi Tirah's mouth.

"Evan and Siska, have you ever met each other before?" ask Devan again.

"Yet. When I was working at Den Evan's house, Siska I left with her father, but then ...."

Bi Tirah stopped his words. His heart ached again in remembering the past. Not just hurt, but there was shame, and guilt for Evan's family.

Siska rubbed her mother's back so she could be calmer. 

"I'm sorry if my question made Bi Tirah's heart hurt" Devan said. The mood changed. Lilis rubbed the back of Devan's hand, to calm him down. His little wife knew that Devan had no intention of making Bi Tirah sad.

"So, how? Bi Tirah so come with me back to Jakarta?" evan asked, shifting the subject.

Bi Tirah and Siska looked at each other. 

"To Jakarta?" gumam Siska. His face showed me wondering.

"When I go to Jakarta, what about Siska?" ask Bi Tirah.

"Whatever. If you want to come, please. Not coming along is okay either."

Finally, after passing a tough question and answer, Bi Tirah was willing to come back to Jakarta with Evan, on the condition that Siska participate as well.

"Well, since it's dark, I'll go back to the room with Lilis" Devan said, holding Lilis.

"Yes, please! Thank you for coming here. Tomorrow we'll go back to Jakarta." Evan leads Devan and Lilis to the door.

"alright. We'll get ready."

"Oh yes, for Bi Tirah, I have prepared a room for Bibi and Siska. There'll be an employee who'll drop off Auntie."

"Thank you very much, Den."

"Together."

After everyone had returned to their rooms, Evan contacted Laras. Before leaving for Bali, Evan had entrusted Laras to his parents. All right, Evan told his mother that he met Bi Tirah, and planned to take her back home. My mother strongly agreed. 

When did you return to Jakarta?

"Tomorrow I'll go home."

What time did it land?

"Consecret. Just wait at home. I have a little surprise for you guys."

Fuck up! Yes already, tomorrow Mama prepare a lot of food to welcome you.

"Take your father and mother-in-law."

Huh huh? You certain?

"I'm sure, Ma. Then, I'll close the phone first. I'm going to prepare everything that has to be brought tomorrow."

Don't forget about Mama!

"It's all prepared."

The phone was shut down by Evan. Otherwise, her mother will continue to check on her. Maybe he failed to surprise the house.

The next morning, the five of them were already preparing with their own luggage. Then drive to the airport in two cars.

As Evan said, he did not tell what time he would leave and arrive in Jakarta. All for a surprise house. Evan had previously spoken to Devan and Lilis to stop by Jakarta before returning to Devan's house in Bogor.

Evan was already impatient to see the reaction of the house people when he saw Lilis and Devan.
