Sister of Inpar Malang
Chapter 5 The Invitation to Dinner
POV Lilis
This morning I was getting ready for breakfast, so I could focus on taking classes at school. I have Mom and Dad in the dining room. I'm still reading the paper, haven't started breakfast. Mom, prepare breakfast on the table.
Seen Brother Devan walking closer. I just remembered that this house is the arrival of a new member. My cheeks glitter at the fresh sights in the morning. Sis Devan wore a baby blue shirt that was inserted in formal black pants fitting the body, and black hair that was combed back neatly, adding to the impression of masculine and mature.
My face turned shocked and stiffened to see who was behind Kak Devan, Kak Laras and her husband. They have breakfast here. Tumben. I immediately lowered my head reluctant to stare, glancing was not able to.
Father who knows my movements, thaws the atmosphere with a throb. "Sit up and have breakfast! There's something I want to tell Laras and Evan after breakfast."
The three people immediately sat down. Father sits at the very end of himself, for here Father is the head of the family. To my right is Mom, then me, and Brother Devan. On my left there is Evan and Kak Laras.
I started breakfast, followed by the others. We had breakfast quietly. Maybe each of them was silent because they thought about what Dad would say.
"Gat!" call Dad after finishing his breakfast.
"Yes, Father," replied Brother Evan in his baritone voice, looking at Father. He was indeed irritable when talking, but that was what made him look mysterious and charismatic.
"Sunday, I invited your parents to dinner here." Father spoke while linking his ten fingers under his chin with his elbows resting on the table.
Brother Laras stopped his mouthful, his forehead frowning at the words of Father just now. "Tumben, Dad."
"Of ordinary dinner. Haven't you seen Daddy in a long time? Laras, you and Evan are also having dinner here" Dad said casually.
"Yes, Dad. Later I will tell Papa and Mama." replied Brother Evan politely.
I saw Kak Laras' face a little cloudy. Maybe he thought about meeting with Kak Evan's parents, especially Aunt Maya, his mother-in-law. My only real brother ever told me that he was often asked about children. That makes it difficult, he said.
Kak Laras also told me that she and her husband had checked their health. The results are all healthy and fertile. Even they have been doing a pregnancy program from a year ago, but what is the power that God has not left the zuriat in his womb.
I can't imagine how Kak Laras would feel if I knew I was carrying a fetus from her husband's seed. My stomach is still not good to receive food, plus thinking about what my relationship with Kak Laras will be like, making this appetite immediately disappear.
"I'm done." I put a spoon over the bowl of porridge. Special food for me that has not been completely cured.
"Well, why isn't the porridge finished? Half a bowl is still more of it," Mother scolded.
"Lilis' stomach is still unable to eat much, Mom," I replied with a hearty look.
I just breathed my answer. "Yes, already. But, don't forget to keep eating during school breaks, yeah."
"Yes, Mom."
"I took you to school, yeah, Lis. It just so happens that we're one way," said Devan as he cleaned his mouth with a tissue.
"You don't want to go with Brother, Lis?" ask Brother Laras.
I immediately gasped, then shook my head. "I'm with Brother Devan only." It's better than having one car with them. Me and Brother Devan greeted Father and Mother alternately and said hello. Then walk outside to Kak Devan's car.
"From a long time ago Devan must have monopolized Lilis alone." Samar still sounded the sneer of Kak Laras.
When I got outside, Devan opened the car door for me. There is a special feeling when treated like that. But I quickly brushed it off, never expecting more, Lilis. I kept pushing my mind.
Along the way, in the car we just kept quiet. Letting music be an introduction on the way to school. It didn't feel like it was in front of the school gate.
"Remember this! You are not alone, Lisa. Now there's me here." His gaze turned towards me, staring with a shady look. I myself replied with a confused look. Maybe he knows the truth?
"If you have a problem, you can tell me. I'm ready to take all your complaints. The problem will not be solved if you are the only damper yourself. There will even be more protracted and stacked," continued Kak Devan.
I threw my face in the other direction, I don't know where I'm from not looking at Kak Devan's face. One side, there is a sense of haru over his words just now. On the other hand, I felt sorry and unworthy of his sympathy.
Without feeling clear bulir out, wet this tapered cheek. Warm feeling touching the cheek skin. Brother Devan used both of his thumbs to wipe away my tears, making this cry subside.
I looked at her face with teary eyes. If she knew that I was pregnant with the child of perk*saan, would she still be sympathetic? Or else he would feel disgusted?
"Of course, don't cry! Going to school, kok, cry. Later on his fugitive," he chanted.
I immediately wiped away the tears violently, then hit her arm, making her scream contrived. We continue to throw each other smiles.
"Remove your tears!" Brother Devan pulled out a tissue, then thrust it in front of my face.
I took the tissue, then cleaned the face of the remaining tears. Suddenly a bad idea came to his head.
Pull out some tissue sheets, then stick it on the nose. Immediately empty the liquid in the nose until clean. Brother Devan grimaces while rewinding his body.
I threw the old tissue into Kak Devan's lap, leaving him shocked and beaming. Spontaneously took the tissue and threw it through the window.
"You're such a slovenly girl, anyway," sewot Kak Devan.
I just responded with a giggle.
"I swear you didn't do it, and no one wants to marry you!"
My eyes glare. It's good that he talks.
"Don't do it, dong. If no one really wants to marry me, how?" I said with a frown.
"Then I'm in charge of your marriage."
Blush ...
My face's warming. I looked down, afraid she would see this face. Intention to prank even I am in gombalin. Quickly open the door, get out of the car and also this embarrassing situation. Stand behind the car while holding a thumping chest.
"Came on!" call Brother Devan.
I turned my body. The car's glass is lowered, revealing the handsome face of Kak Devan.
"I'll go home to school and pick me up."
I responded by nodding with a smile. After waving my hand, the car door glass slowly closed, then drove away leaving me with a smile still on my lips.
"Came on!"
The deg!
Smile fades. This low baritone voice ... why is he here?
