The Part 78
In the evening, after the prayers and dinner they gathered in the family room as usual, Novia was more silent of course her attitude was inviting the attention of her parents.
Ms. Ratih and her husband look at each other, as a mother, Ms. Ratih is very easy to read the changes that occur in her child especially if the child saves the problem.
"Vi, are you sick?" batih Bu Pengat
Novia shakes ....
"No mah, just feeling tired," replied Novia briefly.
"Yes, already, there take Adiba and Emir to break" said Mrs Ratih.
"Later mah, let them play for a while when we're sleepy and we're in." Novia saw her son was still comfortable playing and also she was still reluctant to go into the room.
Pak Wahyu stepped up to check all the doors and windows, then he went into the room following Mrs Ratih and Camillah.
"Come on, Millah we're in. It's sleepy."
Now living in Novia and her two children who are still silent in the family room while watching TV shows, Novia has not intended to enter and it looks like tonight she will sleep there.
Satisfied with playing and watching, the two children Novia fell asleep she glanced at the clock on the wall at exactly ten o'clock the house was deserted only she was the only one who had not slept.
Novia had just broken down her body, there was a roar of cars outside meaning Irwan had gone home.
Tok .. tok .
the sound of knocking on the door broke Novia's daydream, Novia got up with lazy steps walking towards the door and opened it.
Novia turned around after opening the door for her husband, then she walked back to the living room to approach her children.
Irwan followed his wife in after locking the door back, his forehead wrinkled as he watched his two children sleep in the living room.
"Why are you sleeping here? later the children catch a cold," said Irwan staring at his wife.
"It's more comfortable here," Novia responded accordingly
"Come, move to the room let me carry the children," Irwan invited then hold Adiba and will hold him but, Novia brushed off Irwan's hand.
Irwan was surprised by his wife's reaction, "what is Vi? why ban me hmm?"
Novia was silent and turned her back on her husband, Irwan grew curious and pulled his wife's shoulder to face him.
"Why is Vi angry?"
"No, go in and sleep in the room."
"What about you guys?" ask Irwan again.
"The children are sleeping well, we are sleeping here" replied Novia, still turning her back to her husband.
"All right, I'm in." Irwan went into the room leaving his wife and son.
In the room, Irwan took off his clothes and cleaned his body first then climbed onto the bed and lay down.
"What's up with Novia? he seems angry at me. Usually he welcomes me warmly but tonight he's cold and cold."
Irwan muttered as he stared at the ceiling of the room, Novia's change of attitude made him think. But it didn't last long as Irwan finally fell asleep and wandered in his dreams.
Meanwhile, Novia also can not sleep her body continues to move left and right.
"Don't think I'm a stupid woman, all this time I really appreciate you but your reply made me this way so don't ever blame my attitude."
By dawn, then Novia can close her eyes even she missed the morning prayer service.
Mrs Ratih came out of her room after dawn prayers, when in the living room she saw Novia and her two grandchildren were still asleep.
"Vi, wake up son you have missed the dawn prayer, the sun has appeared" said Bu Ratih while patting Novia's body several times.
Novia rubbed her eyes, "what time is it?"
"Almost six."
"Uh, I had bad luck last night I had diarrhea mah," replied Novia lying.
"Your husband didn't come home?" ask Mrs Ratih again.
"There in the mah room, I was lazy to move again to the children's room also had a good sleep," replied Novia.
"Well, can I ask you to take Camillah to school? today I want to rest" said Novia.
"Yes, I'll tell you the same papa." Mrs Ratih then re-entered her room leaving Novia still lying in the living room.
Novia got up, forced herself to wake up even though her body felt the pain of her responsibility as a mother she had to do to move Camillah to school.
"Millah, this morning the order between Millah to school mama is not feeling well anymore," he said while tidying up Camillah's uniform.
"Yes, home picked up too mah tata?"
"Yes" said Novia.
Before long, Pak Wahyu came out of his room and took Camillah.
"Let's go, we're going" said Mr. Revelation as he walked out following Camillah behind.
Novia was back lying down, today she had completely lost her spirit. Slowly and surely Novia starts to lose her identity but Irwan has not realized it.
Irwan wakes up and does not see his wife in the room, then goes to the bathroom to clean up.
"Novia's gone to work? tumben he ignored me and did not wake me up, "Irwan's inner being in the bathroom.
After bathing and dressing, Irwan came out of the room he saw the figure of his wife who was still lying in the living room. Then he approached.
"Vi, I'm leaving, yes" said Irwan hoping his wife replied, but Novia did not budge and remained in her position even though she actually heard her husband's words.
Because there was no answer from Novia, Irwan decided to leave work without breakfast because Novia ignored him.
Novia just lay down all day, none of the activities she did including taking care of her two children. Luckily, she has parents who care about her.
Pak Wahyu and his wife were in the back garden with their two grandchildren, the elderly couple talked about Novia's condition.
"Well, why is your son? all day he just lay down not eating and also bathing," asked Mr. Revelation.
"It looks like he has a sore thigh, last night he said diarrhea so he did not go to work," replied Mrs Ratih.
"If you are sick, why not go to the health center?" say Mr. Revelation again.
"Mama also does not know sir, your son does like to hold something himself. Since the girl he if sick must be confined," replied Bu Ratih reminiscing about the teenage Novia.
Mr. Revelation just sighed, his memory back in Novia's cute and intelligent childhood.
"The child is indeed different from his brothers, looks spoiled but in fact he is the most powerful and tough" said Pak Wahyu.
"Therefore he was given more trials and trials than any of our other children." Bu Ratih's eyes glazed over the fate of Novia later if they were no longer in the world.
"Well, don't cry later your grandson is also sad," comforted Mr. Revelation.
"Yes, Novia chose the wrong partner."
The tears of Bu Ratih finally spilled, as soon as he removed so as not to be seen Adiba and Emir who sat with them.
