22. Growing Up More Resilient

At the end of March 2021 Chrysant became the first champion in the National Kriya Art with the Majanya fruit again because the theme is not changed.

Participants mostly made crafts that were simple and took less than six hours.

While the criteria in Kriya art will usually choose a work that takes almost six hours which is a provision every year.

Some of the works that Chrysant defeated such as rattan wallets or clothes made from plant roots.

April 5th, 2021

This morning Chrysant had just arrived in Bali. Yes, for FLS2N this time the government organized the field of Kriya art for the International level.

All countries in the Southeast Asian archipelago are participants in Kriya art this time. The race only lasts for three days and the theme will be determined at the race location.

Participants are encouraged to prepare the equipment and materials they want. The rest will be provided by the Committee which is followed by the theme.

The Committee allows Participants to prepare tools and materials but the main elements are in the hands of the Committee.

As with any work made by the Participants, the material provided by the Committee must be the main material.

Chrysant was accompanied by Rahman this time because Ruby who was exposed to the virus caused the responsibility to be given to the Headmaster considering this is an International level race.

During the trip to the hotel, Chrysant became a very quiet child and only had enough conversation.

Rahman also only did his duty to supervise without doing his duty as a guide.

At nightfall the participants were invited to practice and Chrysant decided to sleep in his room.

When Rahman asked why Chrysant was not training, he simply replied that Chrysant had been training when he first arrived in Bali.

April 6, 2021

The race is held in the meeting room located in the hotel where the Participants live.

Chrysant who expected nothing from Rahman tried to be independent without Ruby present.

Chrysant brought his own racing gear and food. His small body even made it difficult to see the path that lay before him.

The race starts at ten in the morning and the theme is 'Useful'. Where the theme means this time is the basis of Kriya art.

Kriya art is often confused with a work created from various objects for beauty.

If so, then what is the difference with the art of painting. Therefore the committee provides a theme that has the meaning of 'Use'.

So that the work created has usefulness and beauty in one work, namely Kriya art.

Then the Committee issued the main material in this race. The material was a pine log and each Participant got a five-kilogram section of its weight.

The participants had not yet moved and were still staring at their materials on their respective desks.

Chrysant was still thinking about Ruby and worried about her situation. He hoped that Sumirna could keep Ruby because Sumirna was a tired person.

This time Chrysant became unconcerned with the race and chose to eat the food division provided by the Committee.

Rahman who was annoyed at seeing Chrysant who was just relaxing walked over to him. "Son, didn't you eat that ?" Rahman leaves Chrysant and returns to his seat.

Chrysant, who became upset at the comments while eating, slowly put his lunchbox under the chair while still chewing his food.

Chrysant took the Cloves that he wrapped in plastic. "Huh ! What's going on ? Oh, my God I forgot !"

Chrysant forgot that Ruby advised that cloves this time are Sikotok cloves that must be packed with newspapers.

Because there are some cloves that have not been completely dry so that all Chrysant cloves become moist and oily.

All eyes were on Chrysant as he opened his clove wrapper. The state where the race is full of air conditioning causes the smell of cloves to fill the atmosphere.

Some of the Participants and Instructors who inhaled the scent of cloves liked it and started to approach the Chrysant table.

Chrysant realized some people inside the race venue were in bad shape.

Chrysant also saw a large number of people who continued to wear tissues and hand sanitizers. Chrysant thought to make a tissue place that can stick to the aroma as well as healthy.

Chrysant decided to make a tissue bed decorated with cloves. Chrysat cuts with a wooden manual saw that the Committee gives and sharpens it to the thin as possible.

To his final touch Chrysant rubbed the oil attached to the clove plastic on his work.

Thirty minutes before the time ended several participants had finished working on his work including Chrysant.

Some male participants approached Chrysant's table and invited him to a chat but there were also those who only intended to admire his beauty.

"HEY THAT'S MY Fiance ! Fiance ?" There was a sound from a distance.

"Girlfriend ! I told you Girlfriend !" Amelaty whispers with a bluffing voice.

Apparently Amelaty and Rielly disguised as waitresses, everything became easy to be able to sneak because of Riently.

Riendly who accidentally met Amelaty in Singapore immediately invited Amelaty to Bali when he heard the outpouring of heart from Amelaty.

Amelaty who continues to monitor Chrysant's activities from some of the students he contacted knew that Chrysant was going to Bali.

Amelaty was so excited to know that Chrysant was able to pursue the International level, Riently and Amelaty were actually just monitoring but Rienly messed it all up.

Chrysant only fell silent and ignored the existence of Riently and Amelaty. Amelaty was bowed with guilt for having hurt Chrysant's feelings before.

Amelaty left without even greeting Chrysant. Rienly also followed Amelaty from behind.

The announcement was immediately delivered ten minutes when the race ended and Chrysant was the champion.

Chrysant, who hated himself for ignoring Amelaty, received trophies and awards without the slightest expression of happiness.

Chrysant was a girl who easily turned away when she felt hurt. But Chrysant himself hated his attitude, only he could not change.

All the spectators from the various regions who watched Chrysant's facial expressions on television thought him to be extremely arrogant and haughty.

Even some students and teachers of Junior X spread the story that Chrysant is very relying on beauty and intelligence, so Chrysant likes to demean people around him.

But the people who still believe that Chrysant is a nice and fun girl despite watching Chrysant's cold expressions on television are Sumirna, Rika, Mario and Coco.

Not ten people are convinced by Chrysant's sincerity. But the days of Chrysant are a lot of fun even though only a few people like it.
