CHAPTER 12

Now that Clara is invited by Aaron to meet someone, Clara's eyes stare at a luxury house far from the residential area and the house is guarded by fully armed security.

Then Aaron and Clara went into the house followed by the people who were guarding the house.

"Whose house is this? Why is the guard so tight like this?" Think Clara.

In front of Aaron and Clara was the figure of a man sitting on his back to the two of them.

"Welcome Aaron." Said the man as he turned his chair.

Clara was silent for a moment when she saw the man, "Joker? But how is it possible? Isn't Aaron the Joker?" Think Clara.

"Thank you for welcoming us, Joker." Aaron Said.

Then the Joker immediately told Clara and Aaron to sit down, seeing Clara just silent and occasionally look at the Joker.

"Is this your new assistant?" Ask the Joker who is looking towards Clara.

"Yes, he's new." Answer Aaron.

Then the Joker reached out his hand to get acquainted with Clara, and Clara returned the hand of the man.

"You can call me Joker." Said the man introducing himself.

"I'm Clara.." Clara replied as she was about to let go of her hand, but the man shook Clara's hand.

The Joker just smiles behind his mask, then he takes off Clara's hand.

"Clara you can go out first, I have something to talk to the Joker about." Aaron Said.

"Well Mr. Aaron." Answer Clara.

Clara immediately came out of the room, in her brain she was still thinking about the situation before her.

If Aaron isn't the Joker, then who is the real Joker? So all this time the prediction has been wrong?

And Clara also had to tell this to Hendry and Viktor, because if it continues like this he will just be a waste of time.

After a long wait, Aaron walked out of the room. Clara immediately followed Aaron's footsteps.

"Clara please, hold this first. I'm gonna get the stuff first." Aaron Said.

Clara did a document in her hand, and Clara's eyes began to look at the document.

Then immediately Clara was surprised when she opened the contents, this was the document she had been looking for but how could it be this easy to get the document.

Clara immediately closed the document and acted as if she knew nothing.

Then not long after the figure of the Joker appeared behind Clara, the man patted Clara's shoulder slowly.

"Can I help you?" Ask Clara.

"Where's your boss?" Ask the Joker with eyes still on Clara.

"Sir Aaron is picking up stuff." Answer Clara.

"Oh, how about we sit down and wait for the guy to come." Joker.

"Thank you for the offer." Clara replied as she followed the Joker's footsteps.

Clara's eyes were fixed on the Joker's hand on a dragon tattoo, the same tattoo as Aaron's.

The man he's dealing with is very cunning and intelligent, if Clara doesn't realize it early maybe he's the one who will get stuck into the Joker game.

Now Clara is sitting in front of the Joker, a mysterious man who Clara still has not confirmed her true identity.

But Clara could see the glare of the Joker's eyes staring intently at her, "Clara.. That your name?" Ask Joker.

"Yes, that's my name." Clara replied, who was beginning to be wary of the man in front of her.

"You're like a doll that has no expression and no emotion at all, you're like a body without a soul." The Joker suddenly said that.

But Clara just kept quiet and stared at the Joker, even though in her mind she still did not understand the words of the Joker.

"So Clara, before I worked with Aaron. Where do you work?" Ask Joker.

Clara was speechless with the Joker's question but even so, Clara showed no sense of surprise at all.

"Before working together with Mr. Aaron, I worked as an administration in one of the small companies." Clara answered without hesitation.

"Then why would I want to work at Aaron's?" Ask the Joker who seems to be interrogating Clara.

"Because Mr. Aaron's company offers a very large salary." Answer Clara.

"really? So you like money, what if you just work at my place. I'll guarantee you that you'll earn a lot of money even more than Aaron's company." Joker said with a smile behind his mask.

"Sorry can't." Clara answered without hesitation.

"Why? Can you explain." Ask Joker.

"I've signed a contract at Mr. Aaron's trial, and again I haven't even seen your face in person. And I don't want to work where people I don't even know face." Clara tried to lure the Joker.

The Joker who heard Clara's words laughed lightly. "Ah.. This mask is already a part of my life, and maybe next time I'll show it to you.." Joker.

Clara immediately frowned, "Other times?" Ask Clara.

"Yes next time, because we'll definitely meet again later Miss Clara." Joker said, smiling behind his mask and leaving immediately.

Clara only saw the departure of the man, the man who still hid many secrets. Then not long before Aaron came to Clara and immediately invited Clara to leave.

3 Days passed...

Clara and Aaron's business trip was completed, at that time Clara immediately provided information about secret documents that she had read.

Clara instantly made a copy of the document according to what she remembered.

"Good job, Clara.." Praise Hendry for looking at the information that Clara has obtained.
