Clara was sitting with a knife in her hand, trying to open the chain attached to her hand and neck.

But the longer Clara tried, all that was in vain.

Even Clara's hand was bleeding from a knife that injured both hands, but in a moment of despair.

He heard a strange sound from the balcony, with Clara's slow steps running towards the balcony.

And suddenly the figure of a foreign man entered his room, Clara could not see his face clearly but before long Clara could see the face of the foreign man.

Clara's eyes glazed over, her face shocked and disbelieving etched clearly. "The general..." Call Clara in a slow tone.

Nicholas was speechless with a happy smile on his face but a second later, he immediately stared wistfully at Clara when he saw the chain that bound both the girl's hands and neck.

"General is that really you?" Ask Clara as she walks closer.

"Yes Lyli. It's me.." Answer Nicholas.

Nicholas then stretched out his hands, Clara immediately ran into the arms of the man he had longed for so long.

"Hiks.. Hix.. Hix... Is this a dream? If it's a dream I wish, I never wake up again." Clara cried in Nicholas' arms.

Nicholas smiled as he shook his head, "It's not a dream.." Nicholas replied with a smile on his face.

Hearing that Clara looked directly at Nicholas, then Clara pinched her right hand which was very painful.

"But isn't the general dead?" Ask Clara.

"I can't explain everything at once, but we have to get out of here." Nicholas.

"But I can't.." Clara answered with eyes that looked at her hands.

"Can't this chain be opened?" Nicholas asked who immediately looked at Clara's wrist and neck.

Clara simply smiled and shook her head, "No, this chain is already electric and will shock me if I get out of this place" Clara replied.

"I'll let go.." Nicholas.

But Clara stopped Nicholas immediately, "Jendra you better go, don't mind me." Pinta Clara who doesn't want to see Nicholas is hurt by the Joker.

"We go together.." Answer Nicholas.

Seeing Nicholas' persistence, Clara could only smile while crying. "General.. Your words at that time.." Clara.

Hearing Clara's words, Nicholas immediately looked towards Clara. "I love you, Lyli." Nicholas said with a warm smile on his face.

"Hiks.. I'm sorry, I never understood what you said General. But now I understand and I love you too.. I love you so much.." Answer Clara.

Hearing Clara's reply, Nicholas immediately hugged the woman before him.

"Thank you Lyli, thank you for loving me." Nicholas replied with a hand that tightly hugged Clara's body.

Clara can only cry in the arms of the person she has loved for years, Clara loved Nicholas but she was never aware of his feelings and did not understand what love was.

Then Nicholas let go of Clara, "I want us to be together forever, to age with you. Lyli is my greatest wish." Answer Nicholas.

Hearing that Clara immediately nodded her head with teary eyes.

"Yes the general." Answer Clara.

Then Nicholas immediately looked for a way to release the chain that binds both hands and also the neck of Clara.

Nicholas kept trying to open the chain in Clara's hands, but it was very difficult.

"Yes the general." Answer Clara.

Clara seemed to endure the pain of the electric shock and before long the electricity was turned off, then Nicholas looked for a sharp object that could cut the chain that binds Clara's hands.

Then Nicholas' eyes immediately looked at Clara, "Can you run with both hands tied?" Ask Nicholas.

"Can the General." Answer Clara.

"Well, we'll let go of that chain later after we get out of here." Answer Nicholas.

"Good General."

Then Nicholas immediately lowered Clara from the 3rd floor by slowly using a rope, after descending Nicholas immediately invited Clara to run into the forest.

Nicholas continued to invite Clara to run, until they rested for a moment.

"Where are we going?" Ask Clara.

But Clara fell silent as she looked at Nicholas' pale face, "General, what are you?" Clara asked with a hand that stroked Nicholas' cheeks.

"I'm fine." Replied Nicholas who leaned his back on the tree.

"Lilk... Thanks." Said Nicholas with teary eyes.

But Clara immediately shook her head. "I should be grateful for your blessing, I can understand the true meaning of my life." Answer Clara.

"Emmm.. I'm sorry, I used to use you." Nicholas said with regret in his heart.

"Everything's gone, it's the past that we don't need to talk about anymore." Answer Clara.

"Thank you, Lyli. I want to ask you one thing." Nicholas.

"What is General?"

"If one day we part again, promise me. You never kill anyone again, never dirty your hands again with blood.. Promise me, Lyli." Pinta Nicholas with hand caressing Clara's face.

"Yes, general. I promise, I promise I will never kill anyone again. I promise I'll never dirty my hands with blood again, I promise..."

"I'm glad to hear that, after we've left this country.. Do you want to marry me?" Nicholas asked with a hand that pulled something out of his jacket pocket.

"Married?" Ask Clara.

"Yes married, legally married we become a couple who can live together forever.. Have children and live happily to old, until death do us part." Nicholas.

"Sure, I want to marry you, General." Clara answered happily, so glad Clara was crying.

"Do you remember this ring?" Ask Nicholas who brought the ring he once gave to Clara.

"It's a ring from you, but how come it's in your hands now, General?" Ask Clara.

"I found it in your house, and now I want you to use this ring. The ring that will bind you to me." Answer Nicholas.

Then Clara took out her hand, Nicholas slowly put the ring on Clara's finger.

"This ring is proof that I love you, and we're getting married.." Said Nicholas with teary eyes.

"Yes general.." Clara answered, and Nicholas pulled Clara's face.

Under the tree and the moonlight, Nicholas kissed Clara's soft lips and now the world seemed to belong to them both.
