Sword Anthem's

Sword Anthem's
Chapter 12 - A New Beginning

In a forest full of vines, a pitch-black-haired man with his white sword danced beautifully. Squeezing each side of his sword elegantly and thousands of monsters fell down instantly in his grasp.

His eyes were pitch black with tanned white skin. He wore a black robe and also a white garment with a belt complete with various healing herbs.

"Hoii .. we've cleared up the ones here, so how's it going? Kuro."

The man who was called turned around and put on a small smile.

"Of course I'm done here too" I said casually.

"Then after this we will send where the supply of Zenith Crystals

this is?"

"Certainly heading towards the Kingdom of Astarte, calmly we will use the Athea Crystal," he said lightly.

"Hmmm ... teleportation crystal? Also pretty. Then quickly, I would like to drink some more of Aunt Hana's warm chocolate" I said with a flowery face.

"You're like a child, Kuro," he said, shaking his head.

As I recall it has been a year since the events and I don't know for what miracle I can still stand here.

***

I can't feel anything, seeing anything seems impossible. Am I dead?

But I do know that this body is like diving deeper into the darkness. Deeper, blacker, and without a definite end. My head started to feel warm.

I began to be able to see a small speck of light—so small even as if in the near future this will be extinguished. Dimmed. Maybe I won't be able to see the light again and hope for a miracle that will pull me from here.

A regret? Might as well...

... Young man shouldn't you still be alive? ...

... Ahhh .. the man who saved us ...

... Whooo ... Really, you, why is it here? ...

... We're gonna help you get out of here, man ...

... Brother don't be sad ...

... Should you still be alive? ...

Take it easy, we'll lead you somewhere ...

But somehow because of what madness, in just that short time I can hear a voice. A sound? Aren't I dead? Then why? How can I hear again.

Without thinking anything more, all the sensations that had previously died slowly started to return to me. The cold hands became warm, the dead heart was beating again, the silent sound that disappeared slowly filled the ears, and this warm sensation... it's just being around someone important that I can feel this comfortable.

Slowly but surely my eyelids opened. From within this absolute darkness, they smiled at me. Without the body, it is only the wild consciousness that forms the spirit.

... Thanks for that moment ...

Hohohoh .. young boy thank you for that time ...

... We can only help here ...

... Brother, next time we'll meet again ...

... O young man one day we will stop by again ...

... Take good care of your body ...

A little boy's spirit pulled my arm. Along with the darkness that slowly broke, he took me drifting towards a place?. I don't know, but at this time I believe he took me to the place he wanted to show.

Not long after that I could see a garden. The park was filled with mysterious air and thin fog. The spirit of the little boy who brought me to this place directly lowered on the soft grass carefully.

After that he disappeared while waving his hand. I can only smile thinly with thoughts ‘ am I really dead, huh?’

Yep. I could feel my body, though it was stiff at least I was sure that this was my real body.

One thing that became a big question mark for me was... What exactly is this place? where am I now? and how am I supposed to have died of sacrifice when it can come back to life?..wait a minute, live?....

But I shook my head quickly and put those thoughts aside to feel this sensation again. Although somewhat stiff, but at least I can still move it well.

Unfortunately, not long after that I fell. Lying on a small grass covered by a thin fog.

I tried to get up, but failed. Again and again and fail, again and fail, again and fail, even to my last attempt still can not. It seems like I won't be able to leave this place easily.

In those moments when I laughed at myself, that's when my body was pushed by something and finally got up. The feet rest on the ground, the gaze straight with nothing to disturb, and that is certain

my body no longer lay weakly like before.

As far as the eye could see, all I could see were shrubs, colorful flowers like rainbows during the day, and slender trees full of fresh green leaves.

Thanks to the light that shines on them. Positive life Eve radiates very well and full of life.

Not far from there I could see a square roofed veranda with white pillars as support. Right in the middle is a box table and two small benches.

A man appears to be sitting on the right bench. I don't know if he's a boy or a girl, but I can confirm him as a man of his short hair, his elegant clothes, as well as the sword he's got on his left waist.

Yeah, I'm sure he's a man... 100%.

I walked up to him, although my steps were clumsy and occasionally almost fell down which fortunately I was able to balance again in time.

If it is more examined, he has the appearance of a noble. In his right hand was a white cup, while his left hand was holding a small plate.

With her hair bright brown and a fairly tall posture, once she turned her head to look at me, I could see her deep red eyes very well.

But out of all this weirdness, what baffles me the most is the fact that I can breathe. Yeah, breathe. But not for now, I have to know who that person is and why I can be here.

My eyesight twitched before I finally made it to the porch where the man was, my legs suddenly shook violently and I fell down. But an arm stopped him.

"For all those answers, let's talk about it over tea."

The voice suddenly sounded in my ear and without me noticing, my body was lifted up. The man on the porch was the one who helped me. He picked me up and leaned me on a bench.

"Opsss."

The man flicked his finger, several bundles of light balls coming down from above my back. Then a white blanket appeared covering my entire body evenly. Except for my head and both my hands.

"Well ... now it's better, at least you're wearing clothes,” he said with a small laugh.

His voice was deep and warm, his facial expression indicating sincerity. If not wrong, I've seen it but where? Shit I can't remember. But, wait a minute... naked?

It was then that I screamed from within my heart as loud as I could, as strong as I could, and as strong as my voice could come out.

"Of course you can't remember it, because that's the pay" he said casually and then raised his glass and sipped it again. "Well ... newcomer sir, what can I do for you?" he closed it while closing one eye.

"D-d-d-where is this?"

"Ahhh .. of course you must be confused, now we are in Harlequin Park. The garden of boundaries between life and death," he explained cheerfully.

"L-Then who are you?"

"I? Hahaha, who would have thought I could be that funny. As you can see, of course I am you."

I was not used to talking yet, but hearing her answer left a huge question mark in my mind. This guy is really weird.

"Do you think I'm weird? Right ’kan?" then he approached my face. " Hahaha now you think I'm even stranger, don't you?" he continued and then stayed away from my face.

"-you mean? How can you read my mind?"

"That's an easy thing, because the person you're seeing right now is yourself. We are one and you will know soon" he said, raising his right hand as he twirled his index finger

his right.

If I look again he really is like a king. The outfit he wore was a dark brown formal suit with a red napkin between his collar. A golden rope extended and became a small bridge between his collar as well.

On her wrist, a bright brown indentation with a red circular line. He also wears a pair of black gloves. Then a red robe with accessories resembling a gold star on his left shoulder.

A neat brown trousers complete with a pair of black shoes with neat seams.

"How can you still not believe it?" ask her while sipping her tea again.

I just nodded slowly and he seemed to understand.

"Hmm... How do I explain it, huh? I got the idea," he said. "To put it simply is the person you see today is a ‘ past’"

"M-the past?"

"Yes, I am the past. I hope you can remember it quickly, albeit slowly. At least it can ease your burden" he said. “I'll only ask you one question" he continued, standing up and flicking his finger.

The brown table and stool then disappeared. Since my stamina had not fully recovered, I was knocked down but the man who considered himself to be me helped me to stand up.

"This is the question.. Do you want to live?"

I could only nod slowly and hope that what he said was a miracle.

The man then smiled widely and the look on his face shone like the sun, "Good, I love your answer. Then come with me for a while," he said then he helped me walk somewhere.

Slowly but surely we both walked through the park. There's a bridge up ahead, separating two places I don't know about. However, as we both walked on the bridge, a group of animals crossed and passed both of us.

Then I asked the man who said he was myself, "Why are there animals here?"

"They are existences who expect you to come back to life, they are called hope. They are residents of the park over there just like me but most of them are forest dwellers up ahead"

"The forest?"

"Yes, we're going into that forest."

We finally reached the end of the bridge and the bridge quickly disappeared into a grain of light. Returning to continue the journey, he guided me very patiently.

The shrubbery sticking out showed itself, the beautiful bird chirping sounded carefree, the trees were tall and green like the ranks of the eco-friendly fence, the, the animal troupe looked after us like a king and the gentle breeze made me relaxed and comfortable.

After a few minutes of walking in this forest with a group of animals, we finally arrived at a beautiful lake. It is blue with a soothing reflection of light.

The waterfall flows down at the end. The sound of rustling made me amazed, before I had never come to a place like this.Quiet, safe, serene and absolutely no disturbance in the slightest.

Then the man let go of his embrace, then confronted myself towards him.

"I will give it to you, to you, wanderer of hope"

Then he stretched out both his hands. A bunch of balls of light coming out from his body was golden yellow, they were so many. They were floating quietly.

Illuminating this place, even all the animals that were not far from my place started to close their eyes. They seem to be praying.

The man's lips moved softly and very calmly.

'We are a bunch of hopes the world has set for him'

'We are a bunch of light that nature has cast for him'

'To make him king of the world'

' The king who can make smiles bloom everywhere'

'All for one purpose'

'For those who need him'

'He is our king'

'Arise, king'

'You are the tip of the sword that will never rust'

'You are the tip of an arrow that will never miss'

'You are a sturdy shield that will never be destroyed'

'You are a spear that can always penetrate anything'

'You're an axe that can split anything'

'You are a scythe that can uproot the unjust'

'You are me, I am you'

'We are the same and not different at all'

'I break the chains of the past that curse you'

'I break the doubt in your deepest heart'

'I destroy the darkness lodged in your body'

'I'm Reiss Veil Drag Reizhart'

'By this give up everything'

'You're Kurokami Rei'

The balls of light were then shattered leaving snowflakes of light that spread out beautifully. Its beautiful glow, enveloping the entire forest. The animals started coming towards me.

They are now behind the man..no, rather my past—Reiss Veil Drag Reizhart, he is now starting to pull back both hands. Then he smiled at me.

"Well, Kuro, I gave you a second chance" he said, putting his right arm.

right in my chest.

"This time give them a lesson, ok," he said casually and clenched his hand like he wanted to hit. “Hazard them guys... Then, get up."

After that he pushed me down into the lake. At first I didn't expect it, but I could see her smile so wide. He slowly disappeared into a grain of light along with the animals.

***

Not long after that consciousness brought me back to reality and when my eyes opened wide, I could see the vast sky above there with a floating body.

"Huh .. hah-huh-hah"

I realized that this was not the same place, after observing this place a few minutes from the middle of the lake, I finally swam to the edge.

I felt all my strength had returned and nothing was lacking. It seemed to be a miracle that was always waiting for me at the end of the road.

As soon as I turned around and looked at the reflection of my face on the surface of the lake water, my eyes widened.

"Isn't this how I looked before?"

Yep. My appearance was very similar to that person or rather I regained my former physical appearance.

"Ughhh .. I don't wear anything at all."

Gradually I could hear a flick of water continuously dripping. How shocked I was to find a sword floating on top of the lake, white. It was similar to the sword I had once and it reminded me of Fear as well.

The sword seemed to whisper to me to approach him. I don't know why my heart is like saying yes and without me realizing my feet are walking slowly—or rather floating on the surface of the water so lightly.

I touched the sword with my index finger. My heart was pounding twice and all of the protectors that sealed it were smashed to pieces.

This was both a relief and a shame for me, because a man walking on the lake naked was trying to touch a sword.

The wind suddenly enveloped me. A bright white vest with neat stitches in the middle fused with my body. Has a high collar to cover the neck to the edge of the chin. On the left and right edges there is an abstract black rope hanging.

His arm was hollow and left both of my arms which had peach white skin color. Then an

the whirlpool surrounded both of my arms very quickly. A pair of blue-colored gloves with all five of his hollow fingers wrapped around my hand comfortably.

I pulled out my five fingers completely. At the left base of my arm there is a symbol attached to the blue. The emblem has a shape like the legendary wolf head—Fenrir.

Then a lump of fire hit me from above. Surrounding the hips to the bottom, quickly melted and left a short robe from the hips to the eyes of the feet black.

A neat pair of reddish black trousers and a pair of bright red shoes.

Not long after that the white sword in my grasp shattered and the pieces fused with my body. To confirm it once again, I looked down upon my new look.

“Yah... At least this is better than naked right?”

But I have to try this power, that's what I think. Maybe I got struck by luck because I heard the sound of wild animals near me.

At that time I tried some of my old sword tricks and who would have thought my strength developed in all aspects. Be it speed, strength, agility, vigilance, and others.

There is no more wonderful gift than knowing that my abilities have evolved so far. The next step is to find a place to stay and settle down for a while.
