After a hard-won victory, Emilian and Eliza felt a heavy burden still haunting their minds. On the night after the battle, they sat on the balcony of the palace, looking at the shining stars in the dark sky.
"Eliza," Emilian began, his voice filled with deep thought, "I feel like there's an unfinished fight inside me."
Eliza turned to him with a concerned expression. "What do you mean, Emilian?"
Emilian breathed a heavy sigh. "I felt like I had to choose between my royal duties and my family's. I know my responsibilities as a ruler are huge, but there's also a part of me that I want to devote fully to our family."
Eliza felt the same feeling. "I feel it too, Emilian. I want to be a good mother to our child, but I also feel the responsibility as queen is so great."
The two of them fell silent for a moment, contemplating the internal conflict they were experiencing. The battle against an outside enemy may have ended, but the fight with oneself turned out to be more complicated.
Days passed, but the internal conflicts of Emilian and Eliza deepened. They reflect on the meaning of their struggles, the tasks they live, and the dreams they crave. In the meeting in the palace room, they tried to talk openly about their feelings.
"Emilian," Eliza said cautiously, "have you ever felt like our duty as rulers was preventing us from being ourselves?"
Emilian nodded slowly. "often. I felt like I had to live up to the expectations of others, and I was worried about my own loss in this role."
Eliza felt the same feeling. "me too. And now, with our son about to be born, I wonder how I can be a good mother while still carrying out the responsibilities of the kingdom."
They look at each other, feel closeness and understanding of each other. This internal conflict was not something they experienced alone, but rather a feeling they shared.
Emilian and Eliza felt the need to overcome this internal conflict in order to move forward. They decided to take a short trip to a remote village outside the palace, seeking tranquility and answers amidst the beautiful nature.
In the warm sunlight, they walked amidst the lush trees. The sound of ripples of river water and the great-grandson of birds makes the atmosphere more calm. On the river bank, they stopped and sat on the grass.
Emilian looked at the slowly flowing water. "Eliza, maybe we should look for answers within ourselves. What do we really want in life?"
Eliza pondered for a moment, then said, "I want to carry out my duties as queen well, but I also want to be a good mother and live happily with you."
They held hands, feeling a relief in the words they shared. This journey is the first step towards acceptance of the internal conflicts they face.
Emilian and Eliza decide to dig into the memories of their past, hoping to find inspiration and strength in their relationship. They went to the palace garden, where they first met as children.
As they walked among the beautiful flowers, Emilian spoke, "Remember the first time we met here, Eliza? I still remember your bright smile and the sun shining over our heads."
Eliza smile. "I remember it too. And I know that even though things have changed, our feelings for each other remain equally strong."
Emilian clasped Eliza's hand tightly. "We've been through so much together, from fighting to internal conflict. And I believe we can face anything as long as we're together."
They sat under a large tree, pondering about the long journey they were on. Memories of the past give them the strength to face current and future challenges.
In search of a deeper answer, Emilian and Eliza decide to visit a sage known in the kingdom as a spiritual advisor. The sage lived in a cave on the mountain slope, a place believed to have strong spiritual energy.
When they arrived at the cave, the wise man sat in the middle of meditation. Gently, he invited them to sit in front of him. "You came looking for answers, didn't you?"
Emilian and Eliza nodded. "We have an internal conflict that is difficult to overcome. We feel a dilemma between our duties as rulers and our dreams as individuals" Eliza said.
The wise man smiled wisely. "Internal conflicts are part of the journey of life. You two are unique individuals, but also part of a larger whole. You must find a balance between your tasks and your dreams, so that both can go hand in hand."
Emilian looked at Eliza meaningfully. "Maybe we should understand that our duty as rulers is part of our vocation, but it does not deter us from living our dreams as well."
Eliza smile. "We can be wise and loving rulers, while also realizing our dreams as individuals."
The wise man smiled again. "You have found the answer within yourself. This journey is part of your growth. Remember that every struggle will bring you closer to enlightenment."
Emilian and Eliza felt calmer and more hopeful after talking to the wise man. They know that they can overcome their internal conflicts and live life meaningfully.
