Chapter 13: The Conversation

"Thank God the damage wasn't big, and the hole in the wall was too small to be noticed from the outside and easily hidden from the inside." Riyan sighed after covering the hole by gluing a piece of paper. This is a simple but effective solution.

"If I want to continue practicing magic while keeping secrets. I have to do it somewhere else. Do you have a place like that, Lila?"

"Why can't you do it at the training center? They have a private room made for students who want to practice magic."

"I can do that, but there will be people who are suspicious if I walk into the practice room for the magic class students. But I can't use magic?"

"You think too much about it" said Lila shrugging her shoulders.

"But if you're anxious, you can visit a private training center outside the academy. However, I must warn you, I cannot leave the academy area, so I cannot help you if it is outside."

"Why can't you get out of here? Is there some kind of barrier preventing you from leaving?" ask Riyan.

The corner of Lila's lips twitched after hearing Riyan's words.

Riyan's eyebrows twitched to themselves and muttered to themselves, 'Well, his mind is too wild, ' his inner self.

Lila showed a hesitant expression on her face.

"Of course, this world has magic, but in my world, magic only exists in stories and fantasy movies. If you take out all the fun stuff in this world, you'll be able to have my world."

"Agreed!" Riyan thoughtlessly agreed to it.

Then he realized something. "Wait, you said that you can't use magic because of a Spirit, right? Is the magic circle not part of the magic?"

"Why then can you use it?" riyan asked raising her eyebrows next to her.

"Because my magic circle is not really a magic circle. I am Spirit, so I can change my body according to my imagination, like this ..."

Lila's right hand suddenly turned into a dagger.

"That's really great" said Riyan applauded.

"It also explains how I can create magic circles without using magic."

"Now you understand, quickly tell me about your world!" insist on that Spirit.

"Even if you say that, I don't even know where to start. My world is exactly like this world, but without magic and Vampires, and that includes the academy and students here" said Riyan.

"Then tell me about your life before you come here."

Riyan nodded and said, "I am an ordinary student in my world, but that academy or school has a different name and major. Remember, my world has no magic!".

"I come from an ordinary background, a poor man. So, I have to get a scholarship to get in here.

"Oh, since I used to be in acceleration class a few times, so I was the youngest student in my class."

After a moment of silence, Lila spoke, "Honestly, your life is very similar to mine."

"I don't have any friends because I've spent most of my time practicing magic at home. And I have a very hard family. This is my life from beginning to end."

"Maybe it's because our lives are similar, so it brings us together? Is this what they call a fateful meeting?"

"I doubt it." Riyan immediately denied it.

Lila smiled, "But it is true that you are the only person in this academy who can see me. Huh, yes you have .. This is another magic spell, as I promised."

Lila showed Riyan a different magic circle this time. He stared at the magic-circle for a few seconds before a notification from the System appeared.

"Huh? I don't think I can use magic with a different affinity." Riyan tilted his head in confusion.

"This magic spell has a fire element. But, as long as the magic spell also has a dark element, you will still be able to use it. If you have a magic affinity for both elements, this magic spell will become even more powerful," Lila continued in detail.

"I understand .. I really want to try this new magic spell, but I have to hold it for now." Riyan sighed in disappointment.

A little while later, Riyan left the room and went to the laundry center to clean her uniform. While on his way back, he accidentally meets Andre.

"What's up, Riyan? And why are you wearing a bathrobe?"

"I don't have any clothes, and my uniform is currently being washed in the laundry," Riyan told reporters

A while later, Andre handed over to Riyan 3 sets of clothes.

"I know you only asked for one, but take it. I plan to throw it away later,"

"Thank you." Riyan suddenly recalled the hole in the wall of his room.

Moments later, Riyan changed into his new clothes and started running around the dormitory, while Lila followed him by hovering. After running for three hours non-stop, Riyan returned to his room to take a bath.

Afterwards, he put on his academy uniform and left the dormitory.

"Where will you go now?" ask Lila.

"Cantin, obviously. I'm starving after all the training I did today" Riyan replied.

There are 5 different canteens that can be used by the students of the academy.2 of them to be devoted to the students of the academy with standard meals, all for free. Meanwhile, 1 other canteen is specifically for students who do not mind to pay, of course, for luxury food.

As for the other two canteens, one was reserved only for magic class students while the other was for ordinary students.

Luckily for Riyan, the canteen used by ordinary students like himself was located closest to his dorm, and he arrived after a short walk.

When he arrived, the students there quickly looked towards Riyan. And with everyone there watching, it made it almost impossible for him to eat quietly.
