Chapter 15: The Vampire?

"Can you lift your shirt?" selena asked after Riyan agreed to have her body examined.

Riyan took a deep breath, he immediately made Selena request. He slowly lifted his clothes up, his sixpack stomach was then exposed

Selena gulped nervously and said, "S-a little higher. Lift it on your chest!"

Riyan did not say anything and raised his clothes until his entire upper body was visible.

Selana starts touching Riyan's body. Honestly, he was nervous. After all, he touched the body of a man who was almost the same age as him. If it wasn't for curiosity, Selena wouldn't have done it.

Selena moves her hand up to the chest, right where the heart is.

He closed his eyes and began to examine Riyan's body with some unknown magic.

Lila sees Selena's every move when she suddenly plans to do something funny to her body.

'There is nothing wrong with her heart .. 'Selena's inner confusion. 'His blood also looked healthy ... ' He checked Riyan's body.

'There was a bit of black magic on his body, but no one was referring to him being resurrected from the dead. His mana is too weak.'

A few minutes later, Selena moved her hand away from Riyan's body and muttered confusedly, "You're not the corpse that was turned on ..."

Meanwhile, after her examination of Riyan, Selena returned to the academy building and headed straight for the UKS

Although the lights inside were turned off, Selena opened the door that should have been locked after the hours of studying at the academy were over, she then entered the room.

Inside the infirmary, Selena could see a tall, mature figure standing by the window.

"I've checked Riyan's body as you requested, Kamila's sister," Selena said after closing the door behind her.

"Thank you, I can only rely on you because you are the only person in this academy who can tell if someone is an undead or not. So, what's the result?"

"Before I tell you the results, do you remember our deal? I'm not doing this for free."

"of course. I remember it." Kamila showed Selena an item.

"Death Necklace, this is a B-Rank magic artifact, which can enhance all nekromancy magic. Tell me the result and it'll be yours." Kamila wiggled a necklace that she was holding.

Selena took a deep breath and spoke, "Riyan isn't a revived corpse. His body is clearly still alive."

"Are you sure?" Kamila slightly frowned.

"Hundred percent. However, there was a slight difference in his body."

"What's that?"

"There were traces of dark magic within his body, so he must have used dark magic recently or he had been attacked by dark magic.

That said, the amount of Mana in his body cannot be the result of an awakening magic, so you don't have to worry about that."

Kamila contemplated Selena's confession.

'The trail of dark magic ... Could it be because of the checks I did today? This would make sense since she had a magical affinity for dark magic, Kamila's inner self.

Kamila squinted at Selena. He obviously did not believe in the girl.

Selena rushed over to capture the magic artifact.

'Riyan, huh? Why does he care so much about her? To think he was willing to give a B-Rank magic artifact only to confirm that Riyan was an undead or not.'

Selena did not linger in the UKS and left shortly after.

Returning to the old dorm building, Riyan went straight to his bed and prepared to sleep.

'What if I wake up and find myself back in my home world tomorrow? What if it's just a long dream?' inner Riyan.

"By the way, I really hope you won't see me sleeping all night." Riyan looked at Lila, who floated far above him and looked at his face.

"Why not? You're pretty handsome for a human size and include my type," she said in a teasing voice.

Then Lila realized something and muttered, "Oh, right. From another world, and Vampires don't exist in that world."

"uh? Vampires?" murmured Riyan in surprise.

When Lila mentioned the Vampire, Riyan suddenly recalled what Kamila said to him earlier today.

'Vampires look exactly like humans, but they have white hair and red eyes, ' inner Riyan.

"You're a vampire!?" riyan hesitated a little.

Because Lila had a human-like appearance, be it her appearance or attitude. Riyan subconsciously treated her as a fellow human, even though Lila had the characteristics of a Vampire.

Who would have thought vampires could be that beautiful? Riyan thought they had a creepy look.

He nodded with an arrogant smile, "Right, I am a Vampire. But to think that you didn't realize it until now .. that's a little absurd."

"Sir Kamila told me, but I kind of forgot .." said Riyan scratching his head.

"forget? Even though your memories are amazing enough to instantly memorize magic spells? I can't believe it," denied Lila who shook her head.

"Is that so?" asked Lila in a hollow voice.

Riyan paused for a moment before speaking, "After hearing about the vampire from Kamila's sister, I thought Vampire would become even more terrifying. Anyway, I'm not afraid of you.

Even if you might indeed be a Vampire, in my eyes, you're just a perverted ghost who likes to peek at people in the bathroom. Even Selena, who looks like a child, is scarier than you."

Lila could not help but smile after hearing the words from Riyan, and she spoke, "Once again, I'm not a ghost!"

"Whatever. I want to sleep, woah," said Riyan as he yawned.

He closed his eyes and positioned himself comfortably in bed

"Good night, Riyan."

"Night."

Riyan quickly fell asleep, within seconds. He was tired of his routine today.

As for Lila, she would continue to spend the entire night staring silently at Riyan's face with a gentle smile on her face.

'I wonder if he could say a similar sentence as now, if he knew my true identity ...' Lila sighed.
