System: Parallel World
Chapter 2: From another world

"Tell me all about yourself, talk as if this is our first meeting" said Kamila, who did not let her eyes turn away from the familiar black-haired young man.

Riyan sighed. He did not understand why Kamila was acting this way, but he nodded his head without caring. Well, follow his wish.

"My name is Riyan, I'm 18 now, I'm above average because I'm smart. My birthday is on the first day of the first month, well January 1. Hobbies reading. Most books are fiction and mystery.

I like sweet and spicy foods but do not like sour or salty foods. I got accepted to this High School after getting a perfect grade on the exam. I ... I had no friends at school even after a year here, and I was bullied a lot because of that and because I came from a regular family. Different from other students."

"Is there anything else that Kamila's sister wants me to say?" riyan said as if challenging Kamila. He was really confident in his answer.

"Do you remember our first meeting?" tanya Kamila looked at Riyan full of search. He still needs more specific information.

"of course. We met when I got injured by Ryu and his group. Kamila's the one who took care of me."

"..."

Kamila then silently looked at Riyan with a stunned expression on her face. He's clearly confused. However, a moment later, Kamila spoke,

"First of all, this place is not an SMA like you said. This place is called the Magic Academy. Secondly, you have many friends, and no one dares to bother you."

"Uhh? Why that?" Riyan frowned, trying to make sense of the situation.

"This confirms that you are not Riyan .. at least not the Riyan I know. However, you are still Riyan. There is only one plausible explanation for this phenomenon .. You, Riyan from another world, somehow traversed this world——a world where the real Riyan no longer exists."

Riyan's jaw dropped after hearing Kamila's explanation. He still does not fully understand and believe.

'Sir Kamila .. he's gone mad!' Riyan screamed in his heart.

"I know you think that I'm crazy, but let me to show you the truth, proof ...." Kamila suddenly raised her arm and positioned her palm directly in front of Riyan's face.

"His hand .. is it luminous?" murmured Riyan anxiously.

The next moment, Kamila muttered in a low voice, "Heal."

Riyan could immediately feel a warm sensation spreading all over his face, and the pain in his left eye began to dissipate.

A while later, Kamila lowered her hand and said to Riyan, "Please reflect."

Riyan did not ask much and immediately went to the front of the mirror in the sink, and the biggest surprise .. The left eye that should have been swollen, with a little miracle has now completely healed.

Riyan groped his face as if in disbelief. Well, a little beyond reason.

"W-what just happened? How did you do it, Kamila?" He turned to look at Kamila, asking for further explanation. It was still new to Ryan.

In a calm voice, Kamila responded, "Seeing from your response, I can assume that 'magic' does not exist in your world, which makes things easier."

"Yes, magic," Kamila insisted, and she created a small light that floated above her palm.

"Can I touch that?" Riyan asked nervously as well as enthusiastically.

"certain."

Riyan started to poke the light ball with his index finger for the prefix, then then he tried to grab it, but it would pierce through his hand like a hologram. However, he could feel a warm sensation from that ball of light.

After taking a long time to accept the situation, Riyan finally asked, "How could I end up in this world? Can you send me to my home world?"

"You adapt quickly, that's good." Kamila nodded with satisfaction.

"Partially, I don't know how you came to this world, but since your world doesn't have magic, it's safe to assume that someone in this world has called you here for some reason. Unfortunately, I don't know how to send you back to your home world."

"Then you know who can send me back?" riyan said with a curious face.

"No. Although there are people who are capable of using teleportation magic, I didn't know that anyone is strong enough to teleport between dimensions."

Riyan rubbed his eyes in frustration, and he sighed, "What should I do now?"

"You can stay here until you can go home, who knows when," Kamila said, casually shrugging her shoulders.

"But I'm supposed to die in this world, right? Doesn't that cause some kind of problem? I don't know anything about magic, but I've seen enough movies to know what's possible."

Kamila thought for a while before continuing to speak, "The real Riyan's corpse has never been found, so we can say that you survived. And this is not a movie. Leave everything to me. I'll take care of it."

Having no choice but to rely on it, Riyan nodded, "thank you, Brother Kamila."

Ryan suddenly thought of something.

"By the way, if you don't mind, I'd like to ask, how is your relationship with the real Riyan? I'm practically good friends with Kamila's sister from my world—— even though she probably won't admit it."

Kamila did not immediately respond, he kept silent for a while as if he was thinking of a fitting answer to a question from Riyan.

"All I know about the real Riyan is a little. He only comes if he gets hurt, but because he's always hurt. I always deal with him, too. Y-yeah, we got pretty close, but we're not friends. I'm more appropriately called a mentor by him."

"A mentor, huh? I think you're just like Kamila's sister I know, then I'm really happy if there's not much difference" said Riyan, showing a warm smile.

Kamila looked at Riyan's smile with a confused expression.

Moments later, Kamila said, "Partially, if you want to survive in this world, then you have to learn about magic first."

Riyan nodded with a serious expression on his face, completely unaware of the new cruel world he had come to.
