Chapter 26: The new affinity of magic
Moments later, Kamila approached Riyan's body lying on the floor and picked it up, holding her up like a princess.
"I-I'll carry it for you." Kroni quickly said.
"It's okay, I can do it." Kamila turned around and started walking towards the door.
Kroni narrowed his eyes at the two of them and suddenly asked, "Hey, Saintess, if you don't mind if I ask. What do you have to do with this guy? She looks a little too young to be your girlfriend, unless you're more of that type ..."
"Do you want to die?" Kamila turned around and glanced at him with killing intent.
"I-I was just kidding. Don't take it seriously."
Kamila coldly snorted, "He's just an abandoned child and I happened to find him and somehow I ended up taking care of him. There's nothing more between us."
"I understand ... Sorry to know your business." Crony bowed to her and kept at it until Kamila disappeared from the place.
After leaving the adventurer guild with Riyan still unconscious, Kamila brought him back to his car before heading home to the academy.
Just before they returned to the academy, Kamila made sure to pick up the necklace she gave to Riyan.
"W-what happened to him?" The guards at the gate asked about Riyan when they arrived at the gate.
"His injuries recurred, causing him to lose consciousness." Kamila explains.
"Does he need medical attention? We should probably——oh .. don't think ..." The guard suddenly recalled Kamila's background and stopped his words in the middle.
"Can you help for the examination?" I'll take her back to her room" Kamila said
"I'll do it."
Kamila proceeded to bring Riyan back into her room.
Once inside his room, he took her and placed her on the bed.
However, because Riyan was unconscious, his body was covered in sweat.
Kamila rubbed her eyes and sighed violently before she started to take off all of Riyan's clothes and wiped her body with a towel.
Meanwhile, Lila looked at everything from start to finish with a wide grin.
After everything was done, Kamila left Riyan alone to rest.

The next morning, Riyan woke up with intense pain all over his body, feeling as if he had been hit by a truck.
"Damn .. This pain?"
"Good morning, Riyan." Lila greeted him with a smile.
"uh? Lila?" Ryan was surprised to see it.
He began to look around, "This .. I went back to my room? How's it?"
"That pretty nurse brought you back because you passed out."
"Sir Kamila? Wait ... it means ..."
"Yup! He took you like a princess! I could hardly believe it when I saw it!" Lila laughed out loud.
Riyan's face suddenly blushed upon realizing that Kamila had brought her back from the Adventure Guild.
"Oh, are you blushing? Not first! Because that's not the best part!" Lila suddenly said with excitement.
"What do you mean?" Riyan had a bad feeling about this, but he still asked first.
"After he brought you back to the room, he even wiped away your sweaty body! You're stripped naked first."
"W-what?! Me ... what? Wait, it seems like it has become commonplace, Kamila's sister once checked my body."
However, before Riyan could calm down, it was,
Lila said, "By the way, it's almost time to go. You should take a shower before you leave."
Riyan sighed and took a quick shower before leaving for the academy.
"I bet a lot of students saw brother Kamila take me. .. They'll definitely bully me with that ..."
"Actually, you're pretty lucky. Only the guards at the gate and some of the students in your dormitory saw it" Lila said.
"Even if someone sees that, it's still too much." Riyan sighed.
"By the way, what happens when you're outside? Why did you faint?" ask Lila.
"The story is quite long, but let me shorten it. Kamila's sister took me to the Adventurers Guild, where I trained with crazy bajin9an until I almost died."
"That sounds fun." Lila mutter.
"Fun? Try it yourself if you think that training is fun! It was torture! However, if I were to be honest, I guess there are very many advantages to it, so I wouldn't complain too much."
Moments later, Riyan arrived at her class and went on to spend half of the day listening to the teacher deliver the subject matter.
After all the classes ended, Riyan made it to the training center even though Kamila did not order to do so. Sure enough, Kamila was waiting for him outside the building.
"How are you feeling?" ask Kamila.
"I've never been so bad, my whole body screams at the pain every time it moves. I might even have some broken bones," Riyan sighed.
"Your bones are fine. I checked it."
"After all, I have something to tell you. Kroni wants to keep training you for two more weeks. I'll let you decide, do you want to continue training with him or not?"
"Then, I'll tell him that you refused" Kamila said with a flat face.
"Wait around! Who said I refused?" Riyan suddenly said.
"Oh?" Kamila was a little surprised.
"It's true that his training method is very painful, but, I have to admit that it's very efficient and promising. In just two days, I had learned how to use the sword properly.
If I fought with my classmates, I would have a decent chance of defeating them. If I continue to train with Kroni, I can definitely defeat Thaya!"
"So you're going to keep training with him?" Kamila asked for confirmation.
"Yes." Yeah." Riyan nodded for sure.
"I get it, then I'll tell Kroni right away to know your decision."
"Oh wait .. but this means that I have to leave the academy every day to go to the Adventurers Guild. I'll walk there, but it'll waste a lot of time."
Kamila could not help but smile when she saw how Riyan was so considerate of her.
"I don't mind taking you there" he said moments later.
"Are you sure?"
"I will still be with you even if you don't train here, it won't make most of the difference" Kamila replied without a doubt.
"Alright, I will trouble you more, to escort me to the Adventurers Guild."
"Rest now, and buy some more clothes. We will start going to the Adventurers Guild tomorrow," Kamila ordered
"Yes!"
Riyan goes to buy more clothes when Kamila contacts Kroni about his decision.
"I see, it seems that I still underestimated the boy. I don't think he'll actually agree. I will repay him for exceeding my expectations by increasing his training! Ahaha!" The cronies laughed out loud.
The next day, Kamila escorted Riyan to the Adventure Guild for her training

A few days later, Riyan finally managed to upgrade his magic spell for Dark Barrier to Mastery Rank 'D', by practicing magic before training with Kroni, completing his quest.

He then asked Lila, "Hey, do you have a level 2 magic spell that you can teach me?"
"I know, but why are you in such a hurry? You just started using magic."
"I guess I'm just curious." He made an excuse.
"I'm sorry, but I won't teach you a level 2 magic spell for now."
"When can you teach me?"
"When I think you're quite capable of handling it," Lila replied with a smile.
Lila answered slightly taking the decision for Riyan.
He decided not to pursue the quest for now since he had 30 days to complete it.
'Now that I think about it, what will happen if I fail the quest?' Riyan wondered.
Moments later, as soon as he was inside the bathroom, Riyan opened the Magic Shop.
'Now that I have enough Magic Points, let's get a new magic affinity!'
After taking a deep breath, Riyan used the 10 Magic Points out of the 11 he had to purchase [Magic affinity awakener at random] from the Magic Shop.
