"Once again, due to complications, Reon was unable to learn magic until recently. If you keep fussing about this, I'll get mad" Kamila said.

'Am I going to fight that thing?' Riyan wondered to himself as soon as he saw the golem.

"This is a Human Golem. It had prowess on par with a rank F monster. Your goal is to defeat him. However, you are not allowed to use artifacts or potions during the fight, and you only have 10 minutes to defeat them."

"A question?"

Riyan nodded and asked, "As long as it's not an artifact, I can use it, right? I want to use the sword."

"What's? You're a witch. Why do you want to use a sword?" Guildmaster Bearnold was confused by Riyan's request.

The Human Golem that had been lying on the floor suddenly turned into a pile of sand.

The sand moved shortly after, growing bigger and bigger until it turned into another golem, but it did not look like a Human Golem and was twice as big.

"This is a Sand Golem, and it has the prowess of a Rank E monster. If you want to pass the exam and become an Adventurer, you have to beat him! However, you are only allowed to use magic!" tell Bearnold.

"Bearnold! What does this mean?! This is not part of the Adventurer Exam!" kamila Protest.

"Kamila, this is my Guild. If you want to be recognized as an Adventurer here, you have to follow my rules. If you don't like it, you can go to another city and take another exam there."

"I just need to defeat him with my magic, right? I'll do it." said Riyan calmly.

"That's what I want to talk about! The golem will start moving in ten seconds, so you better get ready before then!" Bearnold.

Riyan silently stood there and waited for the Sand Golem to move.

Ten seconds later, the Sand Golem suddenly moved.

"Seriously?" Bearnold muttered in confusion after witnessing it.

'Within 10 seconds, he had secretly activated Black Bullet and filled it with Mana excessively. After ten seconds had passed and the golem was activated, he unleashed his magic, destroying it in an instant.'

'However, even though he had a plan, it would not work if his magic power was not strong enough. To defeat the Sand Golem, he needed at least 1,500 magic power. The Black Bullet just now was supposed to be close to 2,000 magic power...'

A faint smile appeared on Kamila's face when she realized what Riyan had just done.

"Did I pass the exam?" ask Riyan.

"Haha!" Guildmaster Bearnold suddenly started laughing out loud.

Some time later, Guildmaster Bearnold personally handed over the Adventurers License to Riyan.

"You'll need this if you want to leave town alone or accept missions from any Guild out there."

"It's good to finally see you back out of town again, Kamila." Guildmaster Bearnold turned around and disappeared into the building shortly afterwards.

Meanwhile, Kamila led Riyan into another room that had dozens of computers, as if they had entered a cafe.

"What kind of place is this?" Riyan asked.

"This is where you can accept the guild's mission and request," he explained.

'Huh. In a fantasy novel, they would be affixed to the entire wall like some kind of busy office, but this was pretty neat and more comfortable.

After they found the empty computer, Kamila instructed her, "Enter your card there. For now, you will only be shown missions that are in your class or below."

Riyan scrolls through the missions on the screen after inserting his card.

There are four categories of missions that Riyan can choose from.

Transportation missions, conquest missions, territorial control, or special missions.

"Do a conquest mission." Kamila.

"All right..."

After clicking on the subjugation mission category, Riyan automatically received a mission.

"Huh? That all? Shouldn't it be more specific?" Riyan looked at Kamila in confusion.

"Is that not specific enough for you?"

"I mean, how many do I have to kill? What kind of monster?"
