Riyan stepped his foot out of the safe zone, his heart started to beat excitedly, as if he had just entered another world.

Although it was only a few steps away, Riyan could feel a direct change to the air and atmosphere.

His eyes wandered to the left and to the right endlessly. He was never this serious except during the test.

Suddenly a loud explosion resounded not too far from their location, causing Riyan to jump and point his weapon at that direction.

"What is that?!" riyan asked in shock.

"We're not the only ones outside. There are other adventurers. Even though I told you to stay focused, you don't need to be too stiff and nervous. It will actually make you mess it up even more." Kamila said indifferently.

"I understand .. I'll try to calm down a little." Riyan sighed.

But it's easier said than done. After all, he had never seen a monster before, let alone fought it.

He was just an ordinary student less than a month ago, and despite all the training he did, it did not mentally prepare him for this thrilling adventure.

His red eyes emitted a bloodthirsty killing intent, and his sharp teeth that resembled a sword-toothed tiger.

"Riyan! Fight the creature!" Kamila shouted, jerking it away from the momentary confusion.

"T-There's no way I can fight that monster! It wasn't like a golem during the Adventurers Exam! It was much bigger, faster, and more terrifying!"

"Do you want to live the rest of your life by hiding in the city like a coward, or will you live life to the fullest without fear?! You may not be the same Riyan I once knew, but I can see the similarities! I know that you are capable of defeating that monster!" Kamila said to him while getting ready to attack the monster if it was close enough, and if Riyan did not dare to attack it.

Riyan gritted his teeth after hearing Kamila's words.

Although he had always been bullied and lived a lonely life in the previous world, there was one thing he was very proud of.

He may be weak, but he is not a coward. Even if he was guaranteed to lose and be beaten, he never gave up without a fight.

'This may be a different world, but I'm still the same person!' Riyan gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the sword.

After taking a deep breath, he took his first step towards the monster.

As soon as the monster got close enough to him, it raised its right leg and took out its sharp claws towards Riyan.

After dodging the attack, Riyan made a simple swing of the sword.

The monster let out a painful room, but Riyan did not stop and continued swinging his sword while he moved behind the monster.

The other leg was cut off perfectly, causing the monster to lose its balance and collapse.

When he saw the opportunity to finish off the monster, Riyan jumped towards the monster's head while unsheathing his sword down.

The monster let out a loud whimper as Riyan's sword pierced into the ground piercing through his skull. A pool of blood appeared beneath him a moment later.

Riyan wiped the monster's blood off the face using his sleeve and became breathless afterwards.

Despite having a lot of stamina left, he felt very tired.

"Congratulations, you just killed your first monster." Kamila approached him with a slight smile on her face.

"How are you feeling?" He then asked.

"Surprisingly I am satisfied." said Riyan in a trembling voice, while his body also trembled in excitement.

"If you're wondering, the Sand Golem you fought in the Adventurers Guild is actually weaker than this F rank monster." tell Kamila.

"Huh? Even though it was considered an E rank?" riyan was confused.

It was only considered rank E due to its high defense and strong strength. However, it is actually quite slow and not very dangerous if you can dodge the attack, not that you will know because you destroyed it even before the monster can move."

"After all, you're not done with this monster" Kamila said.

"Whatchu mean? He's dead, isn't he?" asked Riyan raising her eyebrows.

"Yes, but Mana cores are still inside his body. You won't get any money with this corpse, so you'll have to harvest its Mana cores."

"A-Are you serious? It was so disgusting." said Riyan in disgust.

"Then we forget it and you won't get the money." Kamila took the knife back.

After taking his knife, Riyan took a deep breath and started making holes in the monster's head.

As soon as he could see something shiny, Riyan split the hole with his bare hands and took out a Mana core the size of a pebble stone from it.

"Seriously? It's smaller than I thought." Riyan looked at the Mana Core in his hand with a dumbfounded look.

The shape of the Mana core looked like a kind of crystal with a smooth texture, and the inside contained a blue-colored liquid.

Furthermore, even though he plucked it from the monster's head and he held it with a hand covered in blood, there wasn't a single bloodstain on it.

"So this liquid is which pure it is?" Riyan asked.

"Yes, but it's not pure Mana. In order for humans to consume it, we must purify it using alchemy."

"And how much would this core cost if I sold it?"

"About 500 Yor."

"Five hundred Yor?! That's a lot of money! No wonder why people risked their lives to become Adventurers!

After receiving her apology, Kamila handed the ring over and said, "This is a rank D artifact called the Spatial Ring. This will allow you to use the space storage and store items in it like this."

Kamila went on to demonstrate what he had seen so many times now.

"Are you sure? Aren't these things expensive?"

"Yes, it costs about ten million Yor."

"S-Ten million?!"

After some quick calculations, Riyan realized that he needed to kill another 20,000 F rank monsters to be able to buy them.

"Take this as your birthday present" he said calmly.

"Huh?" Riyan looked puzzled for a moment before realizing that it was actually his birthday today.

"Oh, after you mentioned it, I turned 19 today" said Riyan.

"I don't usually celebrate my birthday, not to mention how busy I've been with rehearsals lately, so I didn't even notice it. But, thanks for this gift, I will take care of it for the rest of my life." said Riyan thanking him.

Kamila nodded, "To use it, just pour some Mana into it."

"Does this mean I can't use it in school because I shouldn't be able to use Mana?" Ryan then asked.

"Even if you can't use magic, you can still use Mana. Everyone had Mana in their bodies regardless of whether they could use magic or not. This is why ordinary people can use artifacts even though they cannot use magic." Kamila explained.

"I understand..."

Riyan drained some of his Mana into the ring, and a hole appeared right above the ring. Furthermore, the shadow of an empty room without a door suddenly appeared inside his head.

Kamila silently nodded her head and started wandering in the Wilderness shortly afterwards.

Riyan stopped thinking about the Spatial Ring and focused on his training again.

After walking for 10 minutes, they encountered another monster, and it looked almost like the monster that Riyan had killed before with a slight difference in size and detail.

Riyan did not hesitate this time and immediately faced him, killing him a moment later.
