Chapter 34's

After spending half an hour in the Wilderness, Riyan had already killed the monster for the third time, but since he did not use magic and only used a sword, it did not not count into the quest progression.

"Sir Kamila, can I use magic to kill some monsters? I want to feel what it's like to fight monsters using magic." Riyan asked Kamila.

Kamila thought for a moment before nodding her head, "OK, but only a few. If you want to use magic to fight monsters, you can do it in the future."

"I understand. Thank you!"

They met with other monsters, Riyan continued to point his finger towards the monsters that were running towards them.

After he had a good shot, Riyan released the Black Bullet, shooting it directly into the monster's head which then hollowed out its body. The monster collapsed on the ground.

"What the fuck? It was so easy!" Riyan exclaimed after killing the monster in one strike.

Compared to fighting monsters with his sword, it was basically easy and without any risk. It's like taking candy from a baby!

Now that Riyan had sensed what it was like to fight using magic, he did not want to use the sword anymore! After all, it was much easier, safer and more efficient to use magic than swords.

"It's no wonder why people think magic is superior." Riyan muttered to himself.

"Don't be too quick to be confident just because you killed one F rank monster. You will not have an easy time if you fight monsters with higher rank" Kamila said

And he continued, "Your magic power is around the E rank limit, so it's clear that you can kill an F rank monster with one strike. Moreover, these monsters were known to have weak defenses."

related to magic? Interesting.' thought Riyan after seeing a new quest that required him to kill monsters without using magic.

After killing two more monsters with magic, Riyan went back to using the sword.

"Sir Kamila, I have killed about 10 monsters now, and they are all basically the same kind of monsters. Are there any other F rank monsters around here? I think fighting different types of monsters would be a good experience" said Riyan.

"These wolves are the most common around our city. If you want to fight other monsters, you must get lucky or wander further in the Wilderness. Since this is your first day against monsters, let's focus on making you more comfortable with monsters."

The next encounter with the same Wolf monster, Riyan deliberately allowed the monster to attack him without retaliating.

'Although it was easy to dodge his attacks, I felt ordinary while around him. I thought I was getting used to them, but but I was still afraid of these monsters subconsciously.'

Riyan quickly realized the true intent of Kamila's true ban for him.

Indeed, Kamila wanted to get rid of Riyan's fear of monsters by forcing him to confront them without being able to do anything, other than dodge and fend off.

"okay." Ryan had no complaints.

After returning to the city walls, Kamila parked her vehicle right outside the gate and said to the guards, "We'll be back tomorrow morning."

"No problem." The guards did not say anything about his actions even though it was not allowed.

Some time later, Kamila takes Riyan to a hotel just a block away from the gate and rents two rooms for the weekend.

"I'll meet you outside at nine tomorrow. They serve breakfast at six." Kamila entered her room after notifying these details.

Riyan also entered her room next to Kamila's.

After taking a hot bath, Riyan lay on the bed and thought, 'Oh, right. Lila didn't know that I wouldn't be back for the weekend. Bodo ah's! He's been living without me for two days.'

He opened the Magic shop shortly after and went on to purchase Enhanced Magic Power.

After returning to the Wilderness, Kamila said to him, "We will continue what we did yesterday."

Two hours and 7 monsters were defeated, Riyan asked, "I'm a little tired. Can I use my magic for now?"

Seeing Kamila nod her head, Riyan immediately began to search for the next monster excitedly.

Of course, Kamila would still find those monsters before she could even see them.

"Oh? That's a new kind of monster." Riyan was very surprised to finally see a monster that was not the Wolf. This monster had two thick legs, a round body covered in feathers, and a long neck like an ostrich.

However, this ostrich-like monster had feathers made of steel, and even its skin looked like metal.

"What the fuck? A steel ostrich?" riyan asked as she watched it from afar.

"That's Steel Feather. This is actually a rank E monster."

"What?"

"To pierce through his feathers and iron body, you will need at least 2,000 Magic power. You won't be able to destroy it at your current level, even if you charge more Mana into the Black Bullet" he continued.

"We won't know until we try." Ryan said with a smile on his face.

"alright. Go ahead and try. However, if you can't kill him in a single strike, you must last five minutes against him. If you fail, you will be punished.'

"Does that mean I'll get a reward if I can kill him with one strike?" Riyan looked at Kamila expectantly.

"I'll think about it after that" he said

after a moment of silence.

"Pretty good." Riyan nodded.

He proceeded to aim towards the unconscious Steel Feather and prepared to use the Black Bullet.

Whoosh!

Black Bullet shot towards Steel Feather with incredible speed, and before he even realized that he was being attacked, Black Bullet reached his body.

Its steel-like feathers, able to fend off even a few attacks from a Tooth Wolf, were almost instantly destroyed when the Black Bullet attacked.

Right after crushing his steel feathers, the Black Bullet continued to attack his sturdy body without slowing down, penetrating it with almost no resistance at all.

However, Steel Feather did not immediately die despite the many holes in his body. He turned to look at Riyan in fear for a moment before turning around and fleeing in the opposite direction, his blood flowing out of the hole in his body.

"Does that count as my victory? I can't kill him right away, but it's bound to bleed to death sooner or later, right?" said Riyan turned to look at Kamila, who had a dumbfounded expression on her face at this moment.

"..."

"Sir Kamila?" He called and there was no response.
