Many Ionian provincial peoples view themselves as part of the natural world, and adapt their lifestyles to live alongside all the incredible flora and fauna. To a stranger, such a close relationship might seem strange, but it is rushing both within the territory and its inhabitants that have been flowing from generation to generation.
...THE ANCIENT AND RESPECTED HISTORY...
Obviously Ionia has the richest and longest history. Surely, in the remote mountains, the plains are still filled with the scars of the great wars of the past—but instead of clearing the ruins, the Ionians respect what remains, even if they do not understand it too much.
...THE GREAT MONASTERIES...
Although it was the birthplace of various martial arts, Ionia did not side with any troops. However, their way of fighting is related to philosophy, which is passed down through virtue and caring. In the northern mountains, the Hirana monastery has long been a haven for those who understand its connection to the spirit realm.
...THE BUILD FOLLOWING NATURE...
Ionian architecture is characterized by a natural and graceful flow, reflecting the beauty of the region. The land is magnificent and open to ensure that one is not separated from an organic part that has existed first.
...THE PLACIDIUM OF NAVORI...
At the center of the continent, Placidium is one of the holiest places in Ionia. Many people have come here to study at the famous school, or meditate in the magical garden. Undoubtedly, that was the reason the place was the target of the invasion of the Noxus forces...

Kinkou is the protector of the sacred balance of Ionia. Their pastor walked in Runeterra and the spirit realm, straightening out the conflict between them, if needed, they would intervene with the power. In times of war with Noxus, the Kinkou Order was overthrown by followers of Zed, the former priest himself.

Ionia is a place where most of its territory is still shrouded in beauty as well as magic. Its numerous inhabitants live wildly throughout the region embracing the spiritual power to live in harmony and balance with the world. There are many groups and sects scattered in Ionia with their respective goals and missions. Ionia is large in the isolation status of Valoran itself. They remained neutral in the face of the invasion by Noxus. The massive conflict caused the Ionians to think back about the path they would take to survive. As of now, no one knows what it will be like. But if it had happened, it would have had a huge impact on Runeterra.
Ionia A world of magic, a world of balance, a world of light.
But not always in peace.
There are beings who want to destroy the land of Ionia, but there are also those who fight to defend it; the Guardian Arrow, the monster hunter.
Valmar and Kai are the two hunters.
But not all monsters can be defeated with arrows and steel.
And not all darkness can be easily defeated by light.
