Tangled Yarn Shackles

Tangled Yarn Shackles
Two neglected men, though,

Time passed tirelessly. The night was getting late, but in the white room, the sound of laughter was still heard. The two pregnant women threw jokes at each other until they did not know if the time was getting late.

Anne really enjoyed the good time tonight. It had long been that he missed Dara's spoiled attitude. After several months of discomfort, in the end tonight all the feelings had disappeared. Dara showed again the attitude as before— when they were in college.

"Dar, I'm sorry, yes," Anne said after a moment of silence.

"I'm sorry for what?" dara asked as she looked at Anne who was by her side. The two pregnant women were both sitting on the headboard of the bed.

"I'm sorry for everything that's happened, Dar. Maybe my presence as your father's wife, makes your heart hurt. I often think about that. After all, you must have been uncomfortable when your father expressed love for me. I know you wouldn't want to if your father loved another woman besides your mother" Anne said with her head bowed.

Dara was silent after hearing Anne's explanation. Everything Anne said was true. Sometimes, there was a pain that seeped into the heart when he saw his father expressing his love and affection to another woman.

"Pain is often in the heart, but I must immediately dismiss it, An. I realized, Papi also needed affection that I could not give. Papi is a normal man, he definitely needs a companion" Dara said with a straight forward look.

"I can shake off all of those feelings, but if you hurt Papi, I don't accept it, An! No matter what Papi's fault, I'm his daughter's. I must have stayed with Papi." This time Dara looked at Anne.

"If you really love my father, I can forgive. This is your last chance, An. If after this you repeat the mistake again, I will not be able to establish a good relationship with you again" said Dara without taking a look from Anne's face.

Anne hugged Dara's body from the side. He was crying on Dara's shoulder. Really, he misses warm relationships like he used to. He hated the distance between them.

"I've set a heart just for your father. I don't care anymore about everything that happened in the past, Dar. For me now the most important thing is to set the future" Anne said in a trembling voice.

The two women were immersed in each other's thoughts. For a long time they were in this situation, until in the end, Anne decomposed her body. He returned his back as before.

"Look, An! I didn't think we were pregnant at the same time. Our stomachs are almost the same!" dara said after observing her stomach and Anne.

"Ck! You're right!" Anne clucked after seeing her stomach, "and all I bear is your sister!" anne said as she rubbed her stomach.

Dara chuckled at the excretion of the mother's face. He never thought if God gave a complicated path like a tangled thread that does not know where the end is. Dara suddenly hugged Anne's body tightly. Perhaps, he was showing how great the longing was.

"Finally, what I wanted these few days was granted, An!" dara said without removing her hand from Anne's body.

"I'm happy we can be like this again. I miss moments like this, Dar. We used to stay up until night just to discuss things that are not important. I have to be a loyal listener when you're upset with Juna." Anne tried to recall memories from the past.

Crisp laughter rang out again there, as the two two-bodied women reminisced. In fact, they discuss names for their children later. The night was getting late, but the two women were still busy chatting without seeing the time indicator there.

Meanwhile, the condition is inversely proportional to the atmosphere in Dara's room. The silence felt there. Juna had not been able to close her eyelids because she felt lonely. He rolled to the left and to the right, but drowsiness never came.

"Geez!" Juna moaned after changing position to sit leaning on the headboard of the bed, "what else should I do? Prayers, listening to music and playing my phone have been done. Why haven't I slept!" grouse Juna before massaging the base of his nose.

"Who's in the living room?" muttered Juna as he swung a step towards the room.

"Fire." Juna muttered softly after reaching behind the long sofa that was there. He saw Rudi was laying on the sofa by playing mobile phone.

Om Rudi put the phone by his side after hearing Juna's voice there. He changed his position to sit on the couch, "you haven't slept, son?" ask Rudi, "come here!" Om Rudi patted the sofa that was on his side.

Juna smiled wryly in response to the orders of the in-laws. Without saying much, he sat there as ordered by Rudi. There was a sense of unease that crept in his heart when he was close to his in-laws.

"But not rested?" ask Juna to start a conversation with his parents.

"The fire can't sleep." Om Rudi was honest with his son-in-law, "you yourself why are you still outside the room?" Om Rudi asked back.

Juna smiled wryly at the question. Of course, he is the same as the in-laws, can not sleep without a beloved wife, "i also can not sleep, Pi," said Juna while staring at Rudi.

Om Rudi only nodded his head after hearing that answer. Now, he knew that Juna felt the same way as him. The two men were suddenly confused as to what to discuss. There was no more talk, as both of them were both drowning in wishful thinking.

"How are your parents?" Finally om Rudi drove away the loneliness by asking the news of the iron.

"Alhamdulillah, healthy, Pi. Oh, yes, I forgot! Papi got a greeting from father," said Juna accompanied by a sweet smile.

"Thank God. Papi will visit there sometime. Please say hello to your father." Om Rudi patted Juna's thigh with a thin smile.

"How's the company doing?" ask Rudi while changing his position.

"Alhamdulillah, Everything is smooth, Pi. Some investors began to be interested in planting shares in subsidiaries," replied Juna.

Om Rudi nodded slowly with fingers rubbing his chin. It looks like the discussion will continue, om Rudi also took the initiative to take food in the kitchen, "several, Papi wants to go to the kitchen first. Looks like we need a snack to accompany the conversation tonight," said Rudi after getting off the sofa.

"Let me, Pi, who's going to the kitchen!" sergeant Juna after hearing the words of the in-laws.
