Tangled Yarn Shackles

Tangled Yarn Shackles
Gavin Kwan Baskoro,

"Okay, Mum! It hurts so much!" moaned Anne without releasing the grip of her hand from the arms of Rudi.

Om Rudi could only grimace as he felt the pain in his arm. He did not dare to complain or protest at a time like this. Yes, Anne will soon give birth, she began to feel contractions since last night or rather three days after she prepared baby equipment at that time. Maybe, this morning the baby who has been waiting for it will soon see the beauty of the world.

"You must be strong, dear. In a moment we will see our son," said Rudi without stopping his hand rubbing on the belly of the distended wife.

Anne's already in the opening seven. He was transferred from the hospital room to the delivery room. There was only Rudi who accompanied Anne in the hospital, because Dara and Juna had just departed from Bandung this morning.

"Come on Moms, spirit! Soon your struggle will arrive" said Martha's doctor who had just arrived in the delivery room. He checked on Anne's current condition.

An hour later, Anne arrived at the peak of the struggle after desperately trying to endure the pain of experiencing a seven-to-perfect opening. The sound of Anne's breath and screams echoed in the room. He continued to clutch Rudi's hand. In fact, the mature man's hair did not escape the target.

"Excite, Moms! The spirit! Let's get the baby out in a minute!" shouted the midwife and nurse companion doctor Martha.

Anne caught her breath before this final struggle was over. He fought with all his might, betting his life, between life and death to give birth to the baby that had been awaited.

"Alhamdulillah!" said om Rudi when he heard the sound of baby crying in the delivery room. Tears kept pouring from the mature man's eyes, "thank you, honey. Thank you." Thank you." Om Rudi landed a friendly kiss on Anne's breathless forehead.

"Congratulations Moms and Daddy. The little whiz was born safely and no less than anything else" said the midwife holding the baby Anne.

Om Rudi moved from his place after the midwife gave instructions to come with him. She leaves Anne in the delivery room with Martha's doctor and nurse on duty. Maybe, um Rudi headed to the baby room to see his son.

The orange sky was beautifully painted on the western horizon, a giant orange-colored sphere was clearly visible there. Perhaps in a moment, the sky will turn dark, for the master of light will return to his place.

Anne opened her eyelids after hearing a noise in her room. The sleep was disturbed because the sound of Dara blending into one with the voice of Kiran and om Rudi.

"Have you come, Dar?" anne asked after her consciousness recovered.

"Yes, an hour ago, An," Dara said without taking her eyes off the baby box not far from the patient's bed.

"An, what's my sister's name? Papi didn't want to tell me! He said secret!" luh Dara while staring at Rudi cynical.

Om Rudi chuckled after seeing the cynical gaze of his own daughter. He refocused on Kiran who was engrossed in his lap. It's true, om Rudi deliberately kept the name of his little hero from Dara.

"So, our son hasn't been named yet, Mas?" anne asked as she looked at Rudi.

"Not yet, I deliberately waited for you to wake up, rather than giving you the wrong name," replied Om Rudi while smiling.

After giving birth, Anne had held her son to learn to give exclusive ASI. However, not long after, Anne complained of dizziness and weakness. The midwife, who was watching her, decided to end the learning process, so Anne would rest first.

"Well, what a mess, my son," said Anne as she sighed, "Dar, bring him here dong! I want to see her again" Anne said after arranging the position of the patient bed she was in with a remote control.

Dara immediately lifted her sister's body from the baby box. He took the sleeping baby in the bed, to where Anne was. He felt anxious when he saw his sister's bakpao cheeks.

"Don't, dong, brother!" anne said with a sweet smile.

Anne peeked at her son's cheek. There is a feeling of love that is so great in his heart when he sees the fruit of love that has been awaited. Those beautiful eyes, began to dewy as Anne's gaze was fixed on that tiny face.

"Mommy will give you a name, Gavin Kwan Baskoro," Anne said without taking her eyes off the adorable object, "you can call your sister 'Gavin', Dar." Anne turned her gaze towards Dara.

"Well, what a great name!" Dara smiled sweetly after hearing the name Anne mentioned.

"That's the secret of everything!" said Dara with a sharp tone while turning her eyes towards her father.

Om Rudi again gave a smile after seeing the expression on his daughter's face. He lifted Kiran from his lap and walked towards where his wife was. While Kiran was in her arms.

"Kiran wants a little sister?" ask Rudi and point at his son.

"No!" Kiran shook her head quickly after hearing the question. Although he could not speak smoothly, Kiran understood if invited to communication.

"Hmmm! His father should have heard his daughter's answer! Let's not ask for mulu's son!" grumbled Dara after seeing her daughter's response.

"Where is Juna? I'd be worried if he wasn't here" asked Anne.

"Still looking for food below" replied Dara.

The sound of Gavin's cry suddenly rang out inside the room. As soon as possible Anne unbuttoned her shirt to give breast milk to her son. He forgot if his ASI has not been able to come out smoothly. As a result, Gavin's voice grew louder.

"What a hell is this!" Anne looked confused when faced with this situation.

"Love formula milk first! That's the one on the nightstand, the one the sisters were given!" said Dara while pointing at the nightstand on the side of Anne's bed. He immediately took the bottle of milk.

Anne and Dara calm Gavin. The baby, who was not even one day old, continued to squirm in his mother's warm embrace. After feeling the formula milk, the crying voice slowly began to subside.

"Duh! Small ones make people panic!" grumbled Dara after sitting back on the bed that Anne occupied.

Om Rudi just stayed at his place with Kiran. He watched the two women before him as he calmed Gavin down. He could do nothing because he did not understand the affairs of the baby. After all, he himself had to keep Kiran from falling from the bed.

"God, thank you for giving us complete happiness in our household." Om Rudi muttered in his heart with a thin smile, after observing one by one his family members.
