"You really accept that guy?" Again Elle's voice jolted Cleire who had even just come out of the bathroom with a towel still wrapped around her body.
"Mom!" Reprimanding his mother who always appears suddenly.
"Quick put your clothes on" Elle ordered.
Cleire clucked. "You said you wanted to wait in the room."
"What did I say in whose room?"
Yayaya, you're right! inner Cleire puffed. Not wanting to argue, he went to the dressing room to get dressed. When he finished, he went back to see his mother outside.
"So, are you serious?" ask Elle again.
"I never even said yes. You know Chris's a coercive man."
"But you've survived with him until now." Many months have passed, although there is no clarity on either side, both of them are already in the phase of lovers.
"He's the one holding me back," Cleire said beginning to dry her hair.
"Or you're the one who wants to survive." Elle continued.
Cleire chuckles. "Mom .. You know me, right? Relationships like this–"
"It doesn't mean anything to you, boring and full of drama!" press Elle cut Cleire's words. The girl glared at her mother in the mirror.
"It's like that, right? The man will back off on his own when he realizes this relationship will never last" Cleire said, still trying to deny his feelings.
"Don't lie to yourself, Cleire. If you don't want to be with her, leave her!" elle said firmly. Cleire froze it.
"I'll help you get away from that guy. I'll make sure he never interferes with your life again. It's better that way, then one day you'll see her happy with another woman. Married and have children. And then you saw how much Chris loved his wife more than you!" Elle was getting tired with Cleire's attitude. He told all his head to make the girl frightened by the happy shadow.
"MOM!" snapped Cleire sarcasm. His chest was racing fast, his eyes reddened with mist. Why is it so painful, he doesn't even want to imagine.
"You love her Cleire and she loves you. I know your nature. You won't shut up when something bothers you, then why do you let him stay by your side? Because you're afraid of losing her!"
Tests. Her tears just melted away, flowing out from the corner of her eyes. His shoulders began to shake. He hid his face with his palm, crying.
"You're outrageous, Mom. How can you talk to your daughter that way." Cleire. Elle took a rough breath, then pulled Cleire to move next to her.
"I was still a career woman before I met your father." Elle started telling stories, Cleire looked at her mother.
"I don't want to talk much. We met and fell in love and got married. At that time I stopped my career, focused on our household. However, after giving birth to Ardrich and you, I began to saturate. I miss my job, so ask Mark's permission and he doesn't mind if I keep doing my duty as a wife and mother."
"However, I'm negligent. I was busy rebuilding my delayed career and abandoning my responsibilities. Markus tried to be patient, but I always ignited his emotions. It was then that our relationship began to stretch and we often fought for small things. At the top, your father betrayed me, took home two little babies who were his children with that woman."
Elle kept telling me about her past. Cleire who was listening from the very beginning started to understand one thing. One thing that becomes the core as well as the important points that his mother wants to convey.
Indeed, who can survive with someone who makes a career as a top priority?
Now he feels guilty too. Just because he believed his vision, he hated Mark who was his father. Maybe this is what it means to hear from two parties, so that there is no misunderstanding.
"Dad said the woman was dead, but she was lying. I once found the two of them together. I was dropping Casey off at college." Cleire said softly while wiping away her tears.
Elle frowned, she didn't know about this. What does it mean recently?

"All is well?" Chris entered in a hurry when he saw Cleire's face. The girl was still sitting pondering inside the room.
"Cleire," Chris once again scolded. Cleire finally turned her head, her lips piercing funnyly holding back a cry.
"You can't betray me." The girl hugged Chris tightly. This man felt strange with the attitude of Cleire he had just seen.
"What did Elle tell you?" Chris rubbed Cleire's back gently, giving her little girl warmth.
Cleire shakes. "Do you really love me?" Cleire replied with a question. "Of course," replied Chris flatly. He really feels awkward.
"What if you change?" ask again.
"Nothing will change." Chris looked up at Cleire to look at her.
"Now tell me what Elle said."
Cleire's eyes were wet again. Why did he become a whiny like this? Elle's words about Chris loving other women more than himself scared her. He wanted this man to stay away.
"Cleire ...."
That instant also Cleire's cry broke out. He hugged Chris by the neck and carried his body sitting on his lap. Like a bad boy who needs protection because in fact Cleire is indeed Chris' naughty girl.
"I love you .. You can only be happy with me," he whined.
Chris who initially suspected something was wrong starts to not care anymore. The most important thing now is that this girl has already acknowledged herself. Yes, after months finally the wait was not in vain. He smiled happily while tightly hugging the girl who was struggling with him.
Outside, everyone was holding back a smile as well as an oddity. The stubborn Cleire finally collapsed as well.
"Let's celebrate!" casey cheers but only a small voice that only heard by them.
