The (Former) Mafia
77. Marrying

"Do you want to marry her?" ask someone to someone else but with focused eyes staring out the windshield of his car. His hand did not stop rubbing his chin feeling furious at the behavior of 'a mother' who wants to sell her child for the happiness of other children.

"I'll take whatever your orders are, Boss!"

A woman in the front seat smiled while looking down. What Bara gave to these people until all his subordinates were gone. He can understand if it is still within the scope of work. However, if it is a personal matter and they are still submissive. Jessica doesn't really understand it.

"I'm not asking as your boss! But as your friend! If what Jessica said is true, you have to help this woman! I think you understand better than me!" sindir Bara pulled the tip of her lips.

"I still take this as an order, Boss! But I accept it because I also have an interest in that woman!" answer him out loud.

"You know him? I mean, my babysitter?"

The man nodded. "I've met him once."

Bara nodded his head. He opened the car door and got out of there. The two women who were still silent distracted. Marlina rounded her eyes and directly bowed towards Bara. "Master!" sapana. Marlina was surprised. Hurriedly he wiped his tears in shame and felt he had no right to show his condition like this.

Bara didn't heed that. He chose to face the woman who was no longer young in front of him. "I would like to propose to my daughter for my friend! If you have debt, I will pay it off. When do you want a wedding? How much do I have to pay for Mom to let go of this woman! She ...!" Bara glanced at Marlina but did not continue her sentence.

From a distance, Nabila who had been worried about Marlina had run a little. The smile on her lips widened when she saw her husband there. However, as soon as it approached, the smile disappeared. Replaced by the curtain of disappointment. The woman she often envied was standing nicely beside her husband. He was still approaching but did not dare to erode the distance. His right hand was raised when he heard the footsteps of his bodyguard as if asking them to stay still on the spot.

Jessica smiled after translating what Bara said. The middle-aged woman in front of him gawked, as did Marlina. The woman stared at Bara's astonishment. Who does he mean by friend, Durant? Not likely. That one Bara guy is too annoying.

"Accepted or not?" ask Bara again.

"How much did you promise!"

Ah, Bara is speechless. This man should have asked who the man who wanted to marry his daughter was. What kind of person he is and how he fights. Marlina's mother's heart was already covered in dark clouds due to money and status. He glanced at Marlina at a glance feeling sorry for the woman. All this time he knew how Marlina was always sincere with her work. Even if she was just a nanny, she treated Ezra well. But, why was he unlucky for having a family like this.

"I'll marry her, Mom! Let me pay my mother's debts and pay for her sister Marlina's college!"

"Max!" muttered Nabila with wrinkled forehead. He closed his eyes hearing and seeing everything that was happening. What are these people doing. Buy women to release them from slavery, or rather ....

"Are you okay, Miss Boss? We're going to the doctor now!"

"No, Durant! I'm fine!" muttered Nabila he turned around to go back to see his son. However, suddenly his eyes were blurred and ....

Bruk!

"Call my wife's doctor to the IGD, Durant!" tara Bara's. This is what Bara fears, not that he wants to lock his wife up or make her farthest from the outside world. Bara just doesn't want his wife for nothing. For now Nabila is lucky because he is near the hospital. If not? ....

"Let's just lay that down!" doctor Fathan said with his panicked face. Bara said although she did not like the male doctor.

"My wife is pregnant!" the word Bara explains.

Fathan was silent for a while but not for long because of his suit he immediately examined Nabila while waiting for the presence of the doctor Bara meant.

"Mama Ezla why Om Bala? Mama's sick?" ezra asked with tears. Those waiting outside the IGD were suddenly very worried.

Durant crouched down, he hugged Ezra, trying to calm the boy down. However, Ezra instead cried increasingly. "Mama Ezla is good, Om. Mama can't be sick, Cassian Mama, Om! Bial Ezla is sick. Ezla is strong! Ezla is not sick either, as long as Mama is healthy, Ezla wants to change Mama!"

Marlina turned her face to hear what came out of the mouth of the 5-year-old boy in front of her. His shoulders were shaking violently. This child, it should be this kind of relationship between mother and child. Marlina knows very well if Nabila is ready to do anything for her son, and vice versa. The love he never got. Only he always felt he was in Ezra's position. While mother. Maybe he was actually coming out of the stone crevice, this was the most reasonable reason he could think of.

Max tugged at Marlina's shoulder, sticking the woman's forehead in front of her chest. He did not show any expression. Just stand like that. There was not even an attempt from him to calm the woman down.

"Ezra!" call Nana pull Ezra out of Durant's arms. "Mama Nabila will be fine! Dad will cure him. You can't cry!" Nana rubbed the clear hair that kept flowing from her best friend's tiny eyes. He took a small cloth from inside his bag to squeeze Ezra's nose which let out snot.

"Already! Mama Nabila it's okay, Ezra!" said Nana hugging Ezra while rubbing her back gently.

Durant smiles. He stood up then turned his head towards the IGD door with a sad face. "You'll be fine, ma'am!"
