Angels Without Wings

"Chrysanthemum flowers symbolize honesty."

At the flower shop, I learned the meaning of flowers from Tasya. Permission from Zain I got with a little sulking. Previously Zain was kekeh who would take me, he was worried if I met with Lisa and came back to be suspected Tasya. However, because I assured that Tasya and I could protect each other, Zain finally allowed.

"This flower is very beautiful, the color choice is also diverse." I eagerly approached the pretty flowers with various colors.

"It's a carnation flower" Tasya said, inhaling the red scent of the flower. "Each color has a different meaning. White represents sweet and lonely. Red means, I'll never forget you and this two-colored carnation, I can't be with you."

I nodded at her explanation, Tasya was so good at recognizing the flower and its meaning. Shifting from my carnations to the flower clusters I already knew. Rose flower. There are many colors on the petals as well.

"Isn't this the flower that represents the land of the windmill?" I asked when I saw the tulips. Tasya smiled at me who was so excited to recognize the flower in front of me.

"Tulip means unbearable love."

I nodded back.

"What flowers are these?" I asked Floris who had been following. Tasya was looking at another flower opposite me.

"It's a daisy, brother. It symbolizes love, wisdom and trust. Many want this flower to be given to their food because it has meaning, take care of yourself for me." The floris explained in detail, making me interested in giving it to Zain.

"Sister. I want this flower to be a bouquet."

The floris nodded and took a few stalks of daisies from its place.

"Can I have some lavender flowers?"

"Yes, Brother. Lt could. Just a minute, brother. Let me assemble first!"

"okay!" I answered excitedly with imagination when I gave the flower to my husband.

*****

"For Zain?"

"Yes." Yeah." I answered with a nod of my head to Tasya's question. We were walking towards the base of a large road. The reason is, the flower shop where we bought the flowers had no taxi route.

Several times I looked behind me because I felt someone was behind us. But looking back, there was no one. Either because there was no one, or because of the movement of that person who was quick to hide.

With my curiosity, I took a cell phone. Icon camera I'm pressing. How surprised I was when someone behind us was following along in a frame on my handpone.

"Sister. Are you good at running?" I asked after keeping the handpone in the bag that encircled my shoulder.

"Why?" Tasya asked so innocently.

"After the count of three, we run the race yes, sister. Let's get on the big road" I lied so Tasya wouldn't worry about what I knew.

"I haven't run in a long time, I don't know if I'm still up to anything."

"Sister, we make a bet" I said, still running so that no one suspected behind us. "Whoever loses. Had to prepare dinner, without help."

"Okay, challenge accepted!" Tasya is full of spirit.

I put a bouquet of flowers on my chest. Get ready to run and hope that these flowers remain safe into the hands of Zain. Three, two, one ... Tasha started running. I did take a slower star to make sure Tasya was within my reach.

The man I thought was following us, was running too. It's not just a guess, he's really targeting us. After a while Tasya looked exhausted, he slowed his running rhythm.

"Don't stop, brother. Someone's after us!"

Now I don't care if that person listens to my screams. Most importantly at the moment, we have to run at least towards the crowd. Kuraih hands Tasya and takes her running with me.

While passing through an old building, someone pulled my hand. The Bouket I brought just fell. Feeling the danger, I immediately let go of Tasya's hand in order to save myself. I was about to shout to warn Tasya not to stop running, unfortunately, that hand was firmly smothering my mouth.

"Rayya it's me!" A familiar voice stopped my actions from wriggling from the person's embrace. Slowly his hands slacked off giving me a chance to breathe.

"Mas Zain, I'm afraid," I groaned as his hand returned my embrace.

"I'm here, you don't have to be afraid anymore. I'll protect my wife!

"What about Tasya?"

"Let it be, we can lure that person through this place."

After letting go of the hug, Zain looked to his right and left. Then he approached a piece of wood that was falling and picked it up. He crouched down on the edge of the building, his index finger he put on his own lips, as an order to keep me out of my voice.

BRACKET....

Zain's estimate is very accurate. As the man who was chasing us passed the old building, Zain confronted him by hitting the wood in his hand right on the man's shin. He fell down by holding his leg.

Not long after, the man who fell down got up and ran away from Zain who was still clutching wood.

"Why not be pursued, Mas?" I asked Zain who was silent when the man ran away.

"Leave it, De. I could've broken his leg, but, you certainly don't want to deal with the police, right?"

I nodded my head before immersing it in the chest of Zain's field that was grabbing me.

"Importantly you survived" he muttered between softly kissed my forehead.

"How did Mas Zain know I was in danger?" I asked him something that had been curious about me ever since.

"I feel bad, after you ask permission to leave the house."

"Then, Mas Zain knew where I was from in this place? I didn't tell Mas Zain which flower shop I was going to!" I solved all my curiosities.

"I installed a tracking app on your handphone last night, so I could know where you were. I'm worried about you after Ferdi's wife mistook you for Tasya."

I'm sorry to see the worry on Zain's face. I should have followed my husband's words that kept me out of the house.

"Sorry, yes, Mas. I can't be a obedient wife." I murmured softly, truly sorry to have made Zain worry.

"That's a flower for me?"

I finally took off my arms and turned to the flowers lying on the street.

"Thank you." Zain spoke as a smile spread across his face.

"Thank you for taking care of yourself for me."

I blushed in shame because Zain knew the meaning of the flower that was now in his hands. Shouldn't I be the one to thank you for Zain coming to save me and take care of me?

"Mas, it's broken," I wailed to see the flower that some of its petals were falling out.

"We can bring home that's still intact."

"Mas, I forgot about Tasya! Where'd he run?!" I screamed after forgetting it for quite a while.

"Maybe he's already in the crowd or seeking refuge. We can look together after this," he said who still picked flowers.

"Mas!"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Thank you for being an angel without wings for me."
