The Affair with my Stepfather

It's been a week since Arsen returned to his office in Jakarta. The silver-eyed beautiful boy named Alana turned out to have a very big power so that he could make the Caucasian return to Jakarta.

That morning Simon came to Arsen's office with some pretty amazing news.

"There will be a representative from the company of the former boss's in-laws who wants to meet "reported Simon.

"Well ? if my business affairs can, but if my personal affairs can not "answer Arsen.

"It seems like business" Simon said.

If it ends up being a private affair it's a later affair. What matters is that they meet.

"How's Boss ?" ask Simon.

Arsen seemed to think before he finally nodded his head in agreement.

"Set the meeting here, I don't want to come to their place "Arsen ordered.

"Good Boss" replied Simon

It will be a historic meeting and Simon can't wait for it.

Just at lunchtime two people from the Widianto company came.The person is Widianto himself and Arman.

Widianto plans to build hotels in Bali and Lombok and he wants the Arsen company to work on its construction.

Widianto chose the Arsen company because they had been involved several times and the results were always satisfactory.

The conversation between the former son-in-law and the former in-law lasted nearly an hour. And they're purely talking about business.

Arman secretly notices Arsen with Widianto. Arman believes that if the purpose of Widianto is not solely for business, Arman can not guess what the main purpose of his Papa was to establish a business relationship with Arsen.

After the discussion about the cooperation project, Widianto and Arman returned home.

"Papa sure will establish cooperation with Arsen company ?" ask Arman when they're on their way home.

Honestly Arman is worried if his Papa is looking for a way to further distance Arsen with Alana and Kanaya.

"Why do you ask that ?" Widianto asked back.

"Wouldn't Arsen be Papa's ex-son-in-law" replied Arman.

"Indeed there is a rule not to cooperate with a former daughter-in-law ?" ask Widianto.

"It's not so Pah.a.I'm just afraid Naya hurt Pah.I love her. Yesterday when Arsen met Lana, Kanaya was so hurt.especially if in the future they will meet more often I worry that Naya will be more injured ", replied Arman.

Despite the suspicion, Widianto smiled. "Papa is glad you care about Kanaya and love her like your own sister "

Arman is increasingly confused by Widianto's remarks.

"You need not be confused.. Papa is trying to make Papa's children happy "Widianto pat his adopted son on the shoulder.

"Splitting Arsen with Kanaya does not make Pah happy but destroys him "inner Arman.

"This project Papa entrusts to you and Naya, Papa hope this paves the way for them to communicate again because there is now Lana among them "

"Seriously Pah ?" Arman looked at Widianto in disbelief.

"Yes.mau unite again or not later it's up to them. The important thing is that Papa has reconnected something that Papa has decided. Hearing your talk in the room when Arsen came to see Lana made Papa and Mama realize that what we had done was wrong. We are selfish and only think about our own feelings without caring about Kanaya's feelings. Seeing Naya shut herself down for so many years was a slap for us "I'm Widianto.

Aman nodded

"Now your duty as her brother please take care of Naya until she gets her happiness" Widianto messages

"Yes" replied Arman.

Kanaya looks ogah-ogahan when he has to go to Lombok for his Papa hotel construction project. The reason is of course because she was reluctant to meet her ex-husband.

The first day Kanaya chose to lock herself in the room, while Arman had to hang out and coffee with Simon.

"Where is Kanaya ?" ask Simon

"Ngumpet, he doesn't seem ready to meet with Arsen" Arman replied.

"Too long depressed yes, but he used to be the nyosor Arsen first" said Simon.

"He was a boy, his mind was still unstable, now he is an adult" replied Arman.

"Yes.the more beautiful "praise Simon.

"Hopefully the presence of Lana among them could pave the way for them to get back together again" Arman said.

"When I first saw Lu I thought Lu was Kanaya's husband, because I heard Lana call Lu Papa "Simon chuckled.

Arman also chuckled. " He doesn't have Papa so I don't mind being his Papa "

"Lu doesn't have a crush on Kanaya right ?" Simon looked suspiciously

"Gue loves him as a younger brother because from the beginning Mr. Widianto adopted me as a child not for a son-in-law" replied Arsen.

Simon looked relieved.

The next day Arman, Simon, Kanaya and Arsen go together to the location. This was the first time Kanaya had met Arsen after the day of the shooting, and the atmosphere between them was stiff.

Kanaya said nothing, only Arman, Arsen and Simon discussed the project they would soon be working on.

The sunglasses Kanaya wears hide Kanaya's watery eyes since meeting Arsen.

Finished reviewing the location the four of them went to for lunch together.

When he was in the restaurant, Kanaya opened her glasses and Arsen gasped to find Kanaya's eyes were red as if they were crying..but Arsen did not say anything as if he did not care and of course it made Kanaya even more hurt.

The lunch for Kanaya was like eating coals, feeling hot and tightening his throat.

Kanaya is only able to swallow a little food and all that did not escape the attention of Arsen.

After lunch, they continued to attend meetings with local officials to discuss licensing issues.

After everything was done they went home.After arriving at the hotel Kanaya immediately locked himself in the room and did not come out again. Kanaya refused Arman's invitation to go for a walk to enjoy the night atmosphere in Lombok.

On the third day, Arman and Simon plan to bring Arsen and Kanaya together, but Kanaya decides to go home first to Jakarta because Alana has a fever.

Hearing that Alana was sick Arsen followed Kanaya back to Jakarta.

Seeing her Mommy coming home Alana was immediately unwilling to get down from Kanaya's sling.

"Mama took her to the doctor and gave her a fever-lowering medication. If you still have a fever, the doctor said Alana had to be treated ", said Hana.

"Cheal dear dong, don't make Mommy worry "Kanaya kissed Alana's forehead.

When Alana almost fell asleep in Kanaya's arms suddenly Arsen came. The face of the Caucasian man looks worried to see the condition of his daughter who looks weak in Kanaya's sling.

"Is it still fever ?" ask Arsen. Kanaya nodded.

Hearing Arsen's voice, Alana opened her eyes and raised her hand to be carried.

Without a second thought Arsen immediately took Alana from Kanaya's sling.

"Daddy.cakit " complained Alana.

"Yes dear.get well soon, don't make Daddy worry "Arsen rubbed Alana's back.

Alana eventually falls asleep in Arsen's arms.

That night Arsen did not come home because Alana did not want a second away from Arsen and Widianto also allowed Arsen to stay overnight.
