In the pitch-black night, in a room lit only by the light of soft-colored table lamps, Dari sat pensively in front of a computer. The light of the monitor reflected his dark brown eyes that looked lethargic and full of doubt. The cool night air entered through the open window, wiping his long, unraveling black hair.
Dance decided to utilize her AI machine. "Maybe..it's possible that this AI could tell how to conquer Rudi's heart," muttered Tari slowly, while moving her computer mouse. The screen changes, displaying the program he has just developed.
"Elsa says you're in love with Rudi" the AI engine said in a cold but clear voice.
Dance was surprised, looking at the screen with her two eyebrows intertwined. "How do you know?" ask her doubtfully.
The AI replies, "I learned from your data and conversations."
With a careful step, Tari started a conversation with the AI, "So, how do you conquer Rudi's heart?"
Before the AI machine could answer, a firmer night wind came in, waving the window curtains and blowing out a few sheets of paper on the Dance table. An old photo is clearly visible among the piles of paper: a photo of Tari and Rudi while still together at school, surrounded by the atmosphere of a beautiful flower garden against a mountain backdrop.
The AI engine spoke again, interrupting the Dance reverie, "To conquer someone, you have to get to know him more deeply. What he likes, what he hates, what makes him laugh, and what makes him sad."
Dance smiled faintly, remembering the good times with Rudi. "But I already know all that" he said softly, as he played the tips of his hair with his fingers.
The AI spoke again, "But there's something you don't know yet."
Dance looked sharply, "What is that?"
The AI paused for a moment, as if searching for the right words, "There is a secret that Rudi kept only for Elsa."
The surprise deck wrapped around Dance. "Consecrated? What'sthat?" his insistence.
In a flat tone, the AI engine replied, "I can't access the information. But, if you really want to know, go find yourself."
Dari pondered, recalling every moment she had ever spent with Rudi. What could he possibly miss? What could Rudi possibly hide from her? With renewed determination, Dari stood up. He will find out the secret, not just to conquer Rudi's heart, but to get the truth that has been hidden from him.
Before leaving the room, Tari looked at her AI machine once again, "Thank you," she whispered.
The AI responded in a gentle tone, "May success, Dance."
Dance stood on the edge of the window, staring out. Warm morning sunlight filled the space, highlighting the curves of her slender and graceful body. The pink dress she wore revealed a perfect silhouette of her body, with a slender waist and a level neck. His long bangs were left unraveled, creating a mysterious shadow on his face.
Rudi, who was busy reading a book in the corner of the room, turned her head when she heard the swish of Dance's dress. His eyes widened for a moment, mesmerized by the beauty he saw. "Dance?" whispered, his voice filled with admiration.
Dance turned her head, catching Rudi's gaze. With a gentle and confident movement, he walked up to Rudi. His every step, every movement of his body, was filled with charm and elegance.
"Rudi," said Tari in a soft voice, while standing right in front of her. "Do you like what you see?"
Rudi gulped, his eyes remained focused on Dari. "You look beautiful" she said hesitantly, as if looking for the right words to describe how she felt.
Dance smiled, her eyes sparkling with satisfaction. With a slow and controlled movement, he pulled Rudi to his feet, then approached, his lips just a few centimeters away from Rudi's ears. "I want you to see more than just my beauty, Rudi," she whispered in an alluring voice.
Rudi took a deep breath, his eyes looking for Dance's eyes. "What do you mean, Dance?"
The dance pulled away a little, giving Rudi some room to breathe. "Sometimes, we need to look deeper, Rudi," said Tari. "Not only with the eyes, but also with the heart."
Rudi fell silent, pondering over the words of Dance. In silence, he realizes that there is more to Dance than he sees. And maybe, just maybe, he had a chance to discover what was hidden behind his body charm.
As dawn began to crack in the eastern horizon, Tari and Rudi were still awake, lying side by side under a thin blanket. Both of them were immersed in each other's thoughts, pondering over what had just happened.
Dance twisted her body, looking at Rudi with eyes filled with questions. "Rudi, what we did tonight changed everything, didn't it?" his voice was soft, almost inaudible.
Rudi took a deep breath, then looked into Tari's eyes. "I. I don't know, Dance. All of this is so profound and unexpected. But all I know is, I have no regrets. How's yours?"
Dance bit her lower lip, looking for the right words. "I have no regrets either, Rudi. But I'm afraid this will change the dynamics of our relationship. We've been best friends all this time, and I don't want to lose it."
Rudi pulled Dance closer, embracing her tightly. "I don't want to lose our friendship either, Tari. But maybe we can find a way to make a relationship that is more than just a friend. We just need to communicate well and honestly."
Dance smiled gently, feeling the warmth from Rudi's embrace. "Maybe you're right. We just need time to understand our feelings and determine the direction of this relationship."
Suddenly, Rudi's phone rang, disturbing the silence that morning. Rudi reaches her phone at the bedside table and sees an incoming call from Elsa. Dance felt her heartbeat pause when she saw Elsa's name appear on Rudi's phone screen.
