Sitting in a spacious living room with a shiny marble floor, the soft chandelier light adds to the warmth of the atmosphere. However, the warm atmosphere was in contrast to the cold aura brought about by Tari. The walls of the rooms are decorated with family paintings featuring Rudi, Elsa, Tanto, and Tanti against a backdrop of tranquil mountains and lakes, as if depicting the happiness they have.

"So, what do you really offer, Dance?" asked Rudi in a serious voice while sipping his coffee.

Dance sat down gracefully, playing the tip of her hair, "As I said earlier, I know about the letter from the research institute. They know about Tanto and Tanti, and believe me, they will do anything to get what they want."

Elsa, who was holding Tanti, felt her heart pounding fast. The look on his face showed anxiety, "Then what do you offer?"

Dance smiled faintly, "Protection. I have the resources to protect you all, but of course, I want something in return."

Rudi straightened his body, "What do you want?"

"Your advanced AI machine technology" said Tari quickly, her eyes glittering with ambition.

Rudi looked surprised, "What? That's impossible!, the machine's been destroyed."

Dancing laughs softly, "Of course it's possible. You can make it again. Isn't your child's safety worth more?"

Outside, the wind began to blow hard, making the leaves of the tree sway and the cloud cloud cloud rolled up even more. The arrival of Tari seemed to bring a storm to the life of the Rudi family.

Elsa seemed to be thinking out loud, "How can we trust you? What if this is all just your ruse to get the technology?"

Dance closer to Elsa, showing a file. "Look at this," he said, handing over the file.

Rudi took the file and started reading it. Face paled. The file contains detailed information about the research institute's plan to kidnap Tanto and Tanti.

Elsa looked at Tari with teary eyes, "Why do you want to help us? What's your real motive?"

Dance took a deep breath, "Have you heard about my sister, Tara? He was once the subject of the institute's experiments. I don't want the same thing to happen to your kids."

Rudi and Elsa looked surprised. They never expected there to be such a background behind the act of Dance.

However, when the atmosphere seemed to melt a little, there was the sound of footsteps outside the house. Dance looked panicked, "They're coming. I feel it."

Elsa stood up, "What should we do?"

Dance thought for a moment, "Go to the basement. I'll hold them."

Rudi looked doubtful, "Are you sure?"

Dance nodded, "Trust me, just this time."

Carefully, Rudi, Elsa, and her two children rushed towards the basement, while Tari prepared for the approaching threat.

The rumbling sound of cloud cloud cloud overcame the tense atmosphere that enveloped the mansion. In the distance, lightning illuminated the sky, accompanied by the deafening sound of thunder. The rain also began to wet the soil, giving the earth a refreshing aroma.

Dance stood in the main doorway, her sharp eyes observing every movement outside. His heart was pounding, yet his face looked calm and ready to face anything. The leaves of the trees were scattered in the rain, framing the house with a curtain of water.

From a distance, the sound of a car engine approached. Its floodlights illuminate the wet walkway, casting a long shadow on every drop of rain that falls.

Elsa, who hugs Tanto and Tanti tightly in the basement, tries to calm her two children. "Everything will be fine" he whispered, though inwardly anxiety and fear began to prevail.

Rudi, who was beside Elsa, whispered to his wife, "We must have a plan. If Tari can't hold them back, we have to have a way to escape."

Meanwhile, Tari saw several black-clad figures approaching the door of the house. Their faces were covered in masks, yet his eyes displayed an indisputable evil intent.

One of them spoke in a deep voice and echoed, "We know they are here, Dance. Just give it up and we won't hurt you."

Suddenly, a loud explosion rang out from the side of the house, startling everyone. Black smoke began to billow, providing an opportunity for intruders to enter.

However, with lightning speed, Tari managed to stop the three of them, utilizing the abilities he gained from Rudi's advanced technology. However, he knew he would not be able to hold them all.

In the basement, Elsa and Rudi heard the sound of a fight upstairs. The two looked panicked, but Rudi tried to remain calm.

Suddenly, the basement door opened slowly. Elsa held her breath, ready to face whatever came. However, what appeared was Dance, her face pale and covered in blood.

"You need to go now!" he said with breath.

Rudi looked puzzled, "What about you?"

Dance smiled weakly, "I'll be fine. I have other plans."

Before Rudi or Elsa could say anything, Dance pulled a button on the wall, opening a secret hidden passageway out. "Go now, and take care of them" he said, pointing to Tanto and Tanti.

With teary eyes, Elsa hugged Dance tightly, "Thank you," she whispered.

They ran through the dark passageway, hearing the sounds of fighting behind them dimming further. They know, they owe a lot to Dance.

The dark passage through which Rudi, Elsa, Tanto, and Tanti drove them to a dense forest. The sounds of crickets and other night animals accompanied their footsteps. The moonlight that bounced off the puddles of water that had just formed after the rain gave a mystical sight.

“Where are we now, Dad?” Tanto asked, holding Rudi's hand tightly, his eyes looking for clues.

“We must find a safe place first, Son,” replied Rudi gently, returning Tanto's hand grip.

Elsa looked around, trying to make sure no one was following them. "We need to move fast, before they find us again" he said with a gasp of breath.

Rudi nodded, “There is an old hut at the end of this forest. Mom and Dad used to play there. Maybe we can hide there for a while."

They continued their journey carefully, trying their best not to make any noise. Tanti, who was still a baby, fell asleep in Elsa's arms, unaware of the danger that was threatening her family.

After walking for about an hour, they finally reached the hut that Rudi meant. Although it looked fragile, the hut provided enough protection for them.

While resting, a whooshing sound from a distance made them jump in shock. A glowing object flashed quickly above their heads, leaving behind a trail of blue light.

"What is it?!" Elsa asked in panic.

Rudi frowned, "That's not the technology I'm familiar with. But, it looks like they really want to find us."

Meanwhile, Tari, who managed to distract the intruders, was in a fierce fight. Despite the injuries, his determination to protect Rudi and his family keeps him fighting.

However, a surprise comes when one of the intruders takes off her mask, revealing a face so familiar to Dari. "I don't want to fight you, Dance," said the figure gently.

"Tw?!" Dance was surprised, recognizing the face of her long-lost sibling.

Tono smiled sadly, "I did this for the good of all of us, Brother. The world is changing, and we have to adapt."

Surprise after surprise hit Dance. Why was his once so loving brother now on the side who wanted to harm Rudi and his family? What happened to Tono?

With a doubtful step, Tari approached Tono, "What do you want? Why are you here?"

Tono sighed, "That's a long story, sister. But, for sure, we have to make a decision. This world is no longer what it used to be."

The unexpected encounter between Tari and Tono opens the veil of secrets of the past that have been hidden. However, how is the fate of Rudi and his family in the midst of an increasingly heated conflict? What really happened to Tony? All of those mysteries are still waiting to be revealed in the next chapter.
