Now Tanti and Tanto are back in their teens, right in front of their old house. The morning was bright, the fresh air gushed gently with the scent of the spring flowers. They could hear the familiar birds chirping from the big tree in the front yard. The house, with its brick-red roof and wooden walls beginning to peel off, looked smaller than they remembered.
Tanti took a deep breath, "This is our home, Tanto? It feels like a dream to come back here after all this time."
Tanto nodded as he pointed to the second-floor window, "Remember our room? Where do we often hide when we play hide-and-seek?"
They walked in through the rusty old iron gate. In the yard, there is a wooden swing that now looks fragile. Tanti approached him, rubbing his rough surface. "First, when my dad pushed me on this swing, it felt like I was flying" she said with teary eyes.
Tanto smiled, "And when you fell, I cried you. Though, you just slipped a little." He laughed a little remembering her.
They continued their steps to the front door. With hesitation, Tanti turned the doorknob. For a moment, they thought the door might be locked, but with a slight push, it opened wide.
Inside, everything looked the same as before, even though it was covered in dust. Dark brown leather sofa in the living room, thick green fur carpet, to an old piano in the corner of the room that often played their mother.
Tanto sat on the sofa, patting the spot next to him, inviting Tanti to sit down. "You remember when we made houses under the dining table with blankets?" tanyakanya.
The two stood up, steeled their resolve, and walked towards their mother's study. There, a new adventure begins.
Cold, that was the first impression they felt upon entering the lab. The ceramic floor is shiny gray with soft rays from fluorescent lights embedded in the ceiling. The lab walls were filled with shelves filled with chemically labeled bottles, sophisticated equipment that emitted soft beeps, and computer screens that were still on.
Tanto approached one of the work desks filled with papers and notes. "Look at this, Tanti," he said, holding a black-and-white photograph. In the photo, Elsa, their mother, is sitting at the same table, smiling with sparkling eyes.
I approached and looked at the photo. "Mother..," she said, "She always seemed so happy while working here."
While being immersed in memories, a large computer screen in a corner of the room caught Tanto's attention. On the screen, there is a simulation of a swirling crystal and a caption: "Crystal Activation: Not Done."
"Here we go! This is what I did before, '" said Tanto excitedly.
Go to the screen and click a few buttons. Suddenly, the AI machine they were looking for appeared on the screen with a holographic visual of the face of a long-haired woman. "Welcome, Tanti and Tanto," the sound of the machine was so soft and soothing.
Both surprised. "You know us?" tanto asked with a confused look.
The AI machine laughed softly. "Of course, Elsa's mom used to tell me about you guys. I'm here to help you."
Tanti smiled with relief. "We need your help to activate this crystal."
While they were discussing, a small four-wheeled robot with mechanical hands approached Tanto and offered him a bottle of drink. "Fresh drink to you, sir," said the robot in a metal voice.
Tanto. "Thank you, R2! You remember my taste for drinks."
Tanti raised her eyebrows. "R2? Oho! The toy robot that you modified into a small-time waitress. Great, it still works."
The lab room that initially felt creepy, now feels warm with the presence of AI machines and small R2 robots. Together, they begin to work to complete their mission.
The machine looked different from the other devices in the lab. Its large screen emits a soft blue light, with thick wires branching out, connecting with various other devices in the lab. Next to the machine, a small plaque reads: "AI Project Elsa".
"Tanto, look at this!" yelled Tanti while pointing at the machine.
Tanto approached and watched the machine closely. "It must be mother-made. But why haven't I heard it before?"
They both decided to touch the screen of the AI machine. Suddenly, the machine rang with a distinctive ring, and a female hologram appeared in front of them. "Welcome, Tanti and Tanto" said the hologram in a soothing voice.
Tanti gasped in surprise, "Who are you?"
"I am a virtual assistant created by Ms. Elsa. I was created to help with his research and projects. And of course, to help you," the hologram replied with a gentle smile.
Tanto's face looked solemn, "We found this crystal in the underground labyrinth. Do you know what this is?"
The hologram analyzes the crystals in Tanti's hands. "Ah, protective crystal. Elsa's mother often talked about her. This crystal has the power to protect your family. However, in order to activate it, there are a few steps you must take."
Both seemed excited to hear it. "We're ready! We want to protect our family" Tanti said with determination.
For a moment, the AI engine processes the data, then gives instructions. "First, you need certain ingredients that can only be found in this lab. Second, you need to combine them properly. And lastly, a special ritual to activate it."
Tanto seemed hesitant, "Ritual? Whatchu mean?"
The hologram smiled, "Don't worry, I will guide you. This ritual is part of your family tradition."
Tanti held Tanto's hand, giving him spirit. "We can do it together, Tanto."
Tanto nodded, "Yes, together we can definitely!"
They then embark on a new adventure inside the lab, searching for the necessary ingredients while continuing to communicate with their mother-made AI machine. Despite being full of challenges, their togetherness and determination to protect the family make everything possible.
Amidst the fanfare of searching for materials for the ritual, Tanto notices something in the corner of the room hidden behind piles of cardboard and old books. A small silhouette that reminded him of something. With careful steps, he approached and cleared away the dust covering the object. Tanto's eyes grew bigger when he realized what he had just discovered.
A small robot with a layer of fading yellow paint, rubber wheels on its legs, and now dim blue glowing eyes. "Robby!" exclaim Tanto with sparkling eyes. He lifted the robot, patting the dust attached.
"Tanto? What did you find?" Tanti approached with curiosity.
"The robot I made with my mother when I was 7 years old" Tanto replied with a smile, "I almost forgot about this Robby."
Let's laugh, "Oh, I remember! The robot always chases you everywhere and makes you fall a few times."
Tanto blushed, "Hey, it wasn't my fault! That was a mistake in the programming. But after you fix it, Robby becomes the best robot."
