The Artificially Genius Doctor
Travel to Kalimantan

Rudi, Tanto, and Tanti sit in the living room with a map spread out on the table. They studied maps of remote areas in Borneo that would be their travel destination.

Rudi picked up a pen and began marking important points on the map. "We will fly to the nearest city, and from there, we will use land transportation to get to the village affected by this disease. That's the most efficient route."

Tanto added, "We also need to make sure we bring enough food supplies, clean water, and camping equipment. We should probably stay a few days in the field."

Tanti nodded in agreement, "Right. And we also need to make sure we have all the medical supplies we need, including self-protection and medicine."

As they continued to plan their trip, Elsa walked into the room. He saw them discussing seriously and showed worry on his face.

"Rudi," Elsa softly began, "I'm very worried about this trip. The disease is mysterious and dangerous. What are we gonna do if we get infected?"

Rudi grabbed Elsa's hand and smiled gently. "We'll be very careful, Elsa. We will wear appropriate self-protection and keep our distance from anyone who is infected. In addition, we already have the medicines and medical equipment we need."

Elsa felt a little relieved hearing Rudi's explanation, but her worries remained. "I just want you all to stay safe" he said with teary eyes.

Tanto and Tanti approached him and hugged him tightly. Tanto said, "We also want to stay safe, and we will be very careful, Mama."

Tanti added, "We both promised to take good care of ourselves. We'll make you proud."

Elsa smiled and kissed her children. "You guys are great kids, and I'm so proud of you guys. Please, always communicate with me during the trip. I will continue to work here to develop medical devices that may be needed in the field."

Rudi added, "We are a team, and we will get through this together. If we stick to the plan and are always vigilant, everything will be fine."

Their journey begins on a clear morning, the sun rises slowly and gives light to the forest they will pass through. Rudi, Tanto, and Tanti wear clothes suitable for travel, with medical bags tightly tied around their backs.

The small plane carrying Rudi, Tanto, and Tanti to a nearby town flew quietly over the forest of Borneo. In the narrow plane, they sat side by side in seats that only fit a few passengers.

Tanto, who was sitting in the middle, looked out the window and was blown away by the beauty of the scenery below. "Look, Tanti. The view from up here is amazing. This forest is so vast and green."

Tanti, who was sitting next to him, smiled. "Yes, Tanto. This is one of the things I love most about this trip. The nature of Borneo is so beautiful."

Rudi, who was sitting next to Tanti, was proud to see her children's interest in nature. "You're right. The nature of Borneo is incredible. And we have to try hard to protect her."

However, suddenly the plane experienced quite strong turbulence. The plane wiggles them inside, leaving Tanto and Tanti shocked.

Tanto tried to stay calm. "It's just a little turbulence, isn't it, dad?"

Rudi grabbed Tanto's hand to give him a boost of spirit. "That's right, Tanto. Don't worry, the pilot must know what he's doing."

However, Tanti looked rather worried. "I hope it's just a little turbulence like you said."

As the plane continued to shake them, the pilot announced via loudspeakers, "The passengers, apologize for the inconvenience. We're going through a pretty strong area of turbulence. Please sit patiently and wear your seat belt."

Tanto tried to show his brother a sense of calm. "We'll be fine, Tanti. Turbulence like this is common."

After a few minutes, the plane finally came out of turbulence and flew smoothly again. All passengers can feel a more calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Rudi let go of a sigh of relief. "Look, we've been through that turbulence well. Everything's gonna be okay."

Eventually the small plane they were boarding landed smoothly at a small airport in a nearby town. Upon arrival, they immediately prepared the equipment and supplies needed for the next trip. Rudi checked his medical bag once again, making sure all the equipment and medicines they needed were in good condition.

Tanto helped Tanti lift a heavy medical bag. "It's going to be a long journey, Tanti. Make sure you bring everything you need."

She smiled, even though her face was a little tired. "Of course, Tanto. We have to be ready for whatever we're gonna meet there."

"We have to be very careful in this forest," Rudi gave a warning as they began to enter the path that runs through the forest.

Tanto nodded in agreement. "Yes, dad. This is not just an ordinary forest, but also an area that we have never visited before. We need to stay alert."

Tanti who was walking between them looked around. The forest is full of tall trees and thick shrubs. The sounds of forest birds filled the air, and several wild animals were seen running away from their presence.

As they walked deeper, they met a local who was cutting wood on the side of the trail. The man stopped his work when he saw them.

"Hello" he said to them with a friendly smile.

Rudi said back, "Hello. We were on our way to the nearest village. Do you know what's going on with the disease spreading in this area?"

The man nodded seriously. "Yes, I heard about that. The disease has spread to several villages around here. People are so worried."

Tanto added, "We are a group of doctors who came to help. Do you have any information about this disease?"

The man thought for a moment before replying, "Some people in my village are also infected. They have symptoms of high fever and severe cough. But what's most strange is, the disease is spreading very quickly."

Tanti nodded, noting the information. "Thank you for the information. We'll try to help as much as possible."

The man smiled, "Hopefully it works. Be careful on the way, yeah. This forest can be a very dangerous place."

Once everything is ready, they continue the journey using a small canoe they have rented before. The sampan glided quietly on the wide surface of the river. The water is clear and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. Green forests and tall trees grow along the banks of the river, creating a sense of peace.

Rudi, who was sitting at the front of the canoe, commented, "The views around here are so beautiful. Borneo does have an incredible nature."

Tanto, who was sitting next to Rudi, nodded in agreement. "Yes, that's right, dad. But we must not forget about our purpose. We have to figure out the cause of this disease and try to stop it."

Tanti who sat at the back of the canoe while observing the water flowing quietly, said, "We will do it, Tanto. We'll try our best."

During a river trip, they remain alert to their surroundings, checking for signs of illness or signs of unnatural life. They try to stay calm and focused on their mission, even though the natural scenery around the river is so tempting.
