The Betrayal of the Love of Aminah
Between Janakpur and Delhi

Aminah and I have arrived in New Delhi after a nearly 19-hour journey in a white toyota car.

Almost they spend time in the car just sitting quietly while looking out of the car.

"We have arrived in Delhi, Yasmina's aunt" Chandra said.

"It didn't feel right but it took a while to sit in the car" Mom answered.

Yasmina Kapoor rubbed her face with a small laugh.

"Are we going straight to the Sheikh's family home, auntie?", asked Chandra.

"We stopped by the restaurant to eat or not, Aminah ? What do you think?", asked Mother.

Mother turned her gaze towards Aminah who enjoyed her food brought from Janakpur.

"I think it's best to rest for a while after a 19-hour trip from Janakpur to Delhi before going to the Sheikh's family home, Mathair", said Aminah.

"Alright, we're looking for a hotel to stay at" said Mother.

"Kalini must be tired from sitting quietly in the car for 19 hours, we should find a place to stay before continuing the journey, mathair", said Aminah.

"We should take a plane so as not to get tired but the price of airline tickets is very expensive, not to mention I have to prepare your engagement later" said Mother.

"It's okay, mathair... I am grateful that we can go to Delhi even though we have to travel for 19 hours, let's just say we are recreation.", said Aminah.

Mom laughed softly while saying.

"You're this.., it could be comforting mathair" Mother said.

"We went to the Hyatt Centric Hotel Janakpuri New Delhi because the hotel was quite comfortable I felt to rest, mathair", continued Aminah.

"Alright, we go there anyway after our time is very limited in Delhi, I also have not had time to contact the Sheikh family will be our arrival to Delhi" said Mother.

"Has Mathair not contacted them yet if we'd come here?", asked Aminah in surprise.

"Hmmm.., yes.".", said Mother.

"Then what if they are not in their house, mathair?", asked Aminah.

"I plan to surprise them because if I contact the Sheikh's family about our arrival in Delhi it will be impossible for them to find a reason to avoid us, Aminah", she said.

Aminah was stunned to hear her mother's answer.

"I mean mathair.", said Aminah.

"You should understand the attitude that Shaheer Sheikh showed at the proposal three days ago in Janakpur" she said.

Yasmina Kapoor looks to tidy up her sarin.

"Oh..", muttered Aminah.

The beautiful girl then bowed sadly.

"Because that's why I made this trip because I wanted to find out what was the reason that that pretentious handsome man refused to marry you, dear" said Mother.

Mother grabbed Aminah's chin gently with a smile.

"I also deliberately did not tell them that we would come to Delhi now because if we had reached the Sheikh's house there would be no such thing as rejection" she said.

Mother gently rubbed Aminah's face while kissing her daughter's forehead affectionately.

"Mathair.", said Aminah.

Aminah leaned her head covered in pink hijab over Yasmina Kapoor's shoulder while hugging her.

"I'm fine, mathair.", said Aminah slowly.

Aminah closed her eyes and fell silent.

"It was my fault for not finding out about Shaheer Sheikh and just quietly accepting the proposal because of the will of your deceased baba" she said.

Yasmina Kapoor sighed and stroked Aminah who was holding her.

"I was hoping for a wedding without knowing if it would embarrass you, Aminah" she said.

Aminah took off her embrace and sat up straight while looking at her mother.

"No, mathair, I'm fine... And I make sure my heart will always be fine, mathair.", said Aminah.

"Well." said Mother.

"Trust me, mathair!" said Aminah softened.

"But I was very upset by the arrogant handsome man's attitude that didn't respect you and it was as if we were the ones who adored him" Mother said.

Aminah laughed at her mother's words about Shaheer Sheikh.

He was a little relieved that the postponement of the marriage between him and Shaheer Sheikh was not because of him and he was very relieved that his mother did not blame him.

Finally Aminah and her mother laughed together when talking about an arrogant handsome man named Shaheer Sheikh, even his mother repeatedly called the man arrogant and stupid.
