The Betrayal of the Love of Aminah

The Betrayal of the Love of Aminah
Aminah to the mall

The three of them reach a shopping mall in Delhi and rush to find necessities for Chandra and Kalini.

Aminah saw a men's clothing store while crossing the mall area.

"Wait, wait, I want to look at that clothing store!", said Aminah stopping her footsteps.

Chandra and Kalini just turned their heads towards him and fell silent.

Aminah entered the men's clothing store and was followed by Chandra and Kalini behind her.

The little girl ran after Aminah.

"Come, Kalini ! We are looking for clothes for your brother" said Aminah.

Kalini held Aminah's hand and walked towards the clothes rack.

"I thought to buy a sherwani for Chandra because there was no way he would always wear a dhoti to a rich man's house in Delhi" whispered Aminah.

Kalini just laughed a little at Aminah's words about her older brother.

"You choose your brother's favorite color" said Aminah.

"Sir Chandra really likes blue" Kalini said with his slurred accent.

"Oh yes !? Then we buy a blue sherwani and you choose a good one for your brother" said Aminah.

"Sister Chandra ! I choose clothes, yes!", said Kalini lisp.

Kalini ran to the clothes rack and chose clothes for Chandra.

Several sherwani outfits complete with turbans hang in the shop mannequin.

There are some special clothes racks hanging sherwani clothes.

"There's something I can help you with" said a clothing store waiter.

"Yes, we are looking for the sherwani for a special occasion later tonight", said Aminah.

Aminah answered the greeting of a man who had been standing before watching them.

The man's maid walked towards the mannequin located near the sherwani's special clothing rack.

"This is the latest model from our clothing store, the color can be chosen" said the waiter, pointing to the mannequin in front of him.

"Is there no other model ? I feel too much detail embroidery, very crowded if used for non-formal events", said Aminah.

"If our simple model does not provide it because the average store we sell sherwani full of detail but for dhoti and pajama we are available simple models", said the shopkeeper friendly.

"Is there blue?", asked Aminah.

"There, I'll get it now" replied the shopkeeper.

"Yes, help me want to see it" said Aminah.

"Thank you", said Aminah.

Aminah turned to Chandra and Kalini.

Both of them had been standing next to Aminah ever since.

"Didn't you choose clothes for everyday, Chandra?", asked Aminah.

"Later after we buy clothes for the evening event, Aminah", said Chandra.

"Yes, all right" said Aminah.

The shopkeeper then came back while carrying the parcel in his hand.

"It's a blue sherwani" said the waiter.

Men dressed in pijama kurtas with green knee-size robes and subordinates in the form of white trousers gave a plastic bag containing sherwani to Aminah.

"Chandra, take a look!" said Aminah.

Aminah handed over the plastic package to Chandra.

"Yes, Aminah" replied Chandra.

"Is this one measure?", asked Aminah.

"The average clothes we sell have clothing standards in general and are available for all sizes" said the man.

"I'll try" Chandra replied.

"And bring these clothes for you to try also because you definitely need to change your clothes" said Aminah.

Aminah gave Chandra some new men's clothes for him to try in the dressing room.

"A lot of it, Aminah. I just change one outfit", said Chandra.

"Try everything first ! What is the fit on your body?" said Aminah.

"Sherwani and one dhoti just had enough for me, Aminah", said Chandra.

"Have it, take everything first!" said Aminah.

Chandra becomes confused when she receives some new clothes from Aminah for her to try.

He said there was no need to change new clothes because they only stayed for two days in New Delhi.

"But Aminah" said Chandra.

"Hurry on.... Mathair's been waiting for us, he's asked us many times. Have we bought clothes or not?", said Aminah.

"Did aunt Yasmina call you?", asked Chandra.

"He sent a message. Hurry along ! Our time is not much", said Aminah.

"Well..., well." said Chandra.

Chandra walked towards the locker room to try out some of the men's clothing chosen by Aminah.

Aminah chose a new outfit for Chandra so that her cousin could change clothes while in Delhi.

He chose Chandra Indian menswear, ranging from dhotis, incandescent kurtas to lungis and sherwani, which is specifically worn for later evening events to the Sheikh's extended family.

Aminah waited with Kalini by sitting on a long bench made of soft foam whose design was like a sofa but was long.

"Well your brother likes it or not, huh, Kalini?", asked Aminah.

Kalini just kept quiet while enjoying the Jalebi candy in her hand.

Aminah accidentally bought Jalebi sweets in front when she first entered the mall for Kalini because she felt the little girl must be tired because of the long trip from Janakpur to Delhi.

Aminah looked at Kalini with a smile and then she picked up the little girl.

"You like that Jalebi, huh?", said Aminah with a laugh.

Kalini did not respond to Aminah's words and seemed to enjoy her jalebinya sweets.

"I will buy you again Jalebi after buying clothes for Chandra and you" Aminah said.

Kalini loved his Jalebinya sweets and ate them voraciously regardless of Aminah's speech.

"After that we bought your favorite fried chicken and ice cream, didn't the chaachee promise you to buy it" Aminah said.

"But aunt Yasmina told me she'd buy me ice cream" Kalini said.

"Not only ice cream but we will buy fried chicken in Mcdonald's like the one in the television" Aminah said.

"Asshiiik ! Macdonal!", exclaimed cheerfully Kalini with his slurred accent.

"But we bought a new dress for you and a new one. How do you like it, Kalini?", said Aminah.

"I like... I like it, brother Aminah", replied Kalini spontaneously.

Aminah laughed softly at Kalini's enthusiastic response when Aminah told the little girl that she would take her shopping for clothes and fried chicken.

Chandra came out of the dressing room of the clothing store and walked towards Aminah who was sitting on Kalini's side.

"How are his clothes, fitting everything?", asked Aminah.

"I think it's too much, I'd better choose one dress to wear for the event to the Sheikh's family, Aminah", said Chandra confused.

"No.., no... If everything fits in your body then we will buy it all because you need it as long as we are in New Delhi", replied Aminah hurriedly.

Aminah stood up from where she was sitting and walked up to the waiter and said to him.

"Please pack all these clothes for us and the sherwani special, please be specially wrapped because it will be worn later tonight", pinta Aminah.

The shopkeeper nodded his head quickly and took all the clothes Chandra had on hand.
