The Birth of the Heir

The Birth of the Heir
Chapter 18

Davina's friends seemed busy taking photos of each other, and some were enjoying the dishes served on the long table.

They seem to enjoy a birthday party and a baby shower.

The event was planned by Dave 1 month ago. She accidentally saw a video post on one of the social media about the baby shower event. And it just so happened that Davina was going to have a birthday, so Dave had an idea to combine those 2 events at a time.

"Would I get you a drink.?" Tawar Dave's.

Since then Davina has been busy receiving congratulations from friends and taking pictures, and chatting with them.

Maybe Davina misses her friends because she hasn't seen each other for months. Precisely since Davina decided to take a college leave. Davina says she's embarrassed to go to college in a big belly. He does not want to be the center of attention of students on campus and be their talk.

"May darling. I want orange juice," replied Davina. The beautiful woman glanced at Dave, then returned busy chatting.

Dave seemed to shake his head. Women like to forget themselves when they are busy chatting with their friends.

"Haii Brother, I'm sorry I'm late." Nabila stood in front of Davina's desk. The girl wearing the peach-colored dress carved a smile on Davin. One hand appears to carry a paper bag that is sure to contain gifts.

Seeing the arrival of Nabila, Davina became reminded of Farrel. Since I arrived at Mama Sandra's house and the show was half-running, Farrel had not revealed his nose. His stepbrother had already returned to this house.

But why didn't he show up and say nothing to his stepbrother who was celebrating his 21st birthday.

"Happy Birthday Brother Vina. And welcome the birth of your first child." With a sincere look, Nabila congratulated Davina.

Putting a bag in her hand, she thrust it at Davina.

"There's still a lot of When," Davina stood up while receiving a gift from Nabila. He then grabbed Nabila and hugged her.

"There should be no need to bother. With you come I'm happy," said Davina who let go of her embrace.

"Ehh, my pendant is stuck," Davina brought her body closer because her pendant was stuck with Nabila's long hair that was allowed to break down on the front.

Davina hurriedly took off her pendant, then tidied back Nabila's hair by flipping her back.

To Davina's surprise, both eyes even perfectly rounded to see something on the side of Nabila's neck.

Presumably Nabila noticed Davina's change in expression, he then hurriedly returned the position of his hair as before by unraveling it forward.

"Eem, I want to grab a drink first, sister," Nabila looked misbehaved and nervous. He seemed to want to avoid Davina by pretending to be taking a drink.

"Wait a minute," Davina held the innocent girl's hand.

How he was not surprised and shocked, a Nabila who he knew was more innocent than him, could have a possession mark on the neck. And the sign of ownership is not only 1, but there are 2 in adjacent places.

"Well, what's the matter, sister.?" Nabila was obviously very nervous. Who had dared to look into Davina's eyes very softly chatted, now lowered his gaze.

"We have to speak with four eyes," Nabila took Nabila's hand to get away from the crowd. Davina would not let the disgrace of Nabila be known by her senior brothers. Moreover, Nabila is quite well known in Davina's class because of their closeness as friends.

Once it felt far enough away from the people, Davina stopped her steps. He let go of Nabila's hand which initially seemed unwilling to go with him.

"Who did it,,?" Shoot Davina directly. He did not need to talk anymore because he was very sure that Nabila knew what he meant.

"Aa, aaaku," Nabila bit her lower lip. He did not dare to answer. Either because of fear or shame.

"Say who's the guy.?" Davina. Even so, Davina still spoke in a soft voice so that Nabila would be honest with her.

Actually, he had no right to interfere in Nabila's personal affairs. But because Nabila is his best friend, and the woman is too innocent, Davina is not willing if Nabila is damaged by irresponsible men.

"Sister, akuuu, a," Again Nabila seemed hesitant to speak.

"Did Brother Farrel do it.?" Guess Davina. Although he is not too sure because the relationship between Farrel and Nabila is like a team and jerry when they meet, but anyone Farrel do anything to Nabila. Farrel was famous as a female player of his time.

"What's up.? Why was my name brought up.?" Farrel's flat voice sounded from behind.

Davina and Nabila turned back to look at Farrel.

"It just so happened that Brother Farrel came." Davina now arranges Farrel suspiciously. He approached a few steps, the look in his eyes was already like one who was about to introgate the unexpected.

"Son Farrel has to be honest with me." Davina.

"What did Farrell do to Nabila.?!"

"I've warned Kak Farrel a lot, don't mess with Nabila."

Davina looked disappointed. Farrel has not admitted his actions, but Davina is very sure if the perpetrator who has left a trace of ownership in the neck of Nabila is Farrel.

"Who's the fuck.?" Answer Farrel casually. But the glance of Farrel's eyes leads to Nabila. His eyes looked suspicious.

"Sister Vina, not Brother Farrel." Say Nabila.

"Sister Farrel never messed with me." His speech. Davina seemed hesitant to believe Nabila's confession. He felt that Nabila was only covering up Farrel's bad deeds to him.

"See,,?!" Farrel.

"I didn't do anything to him."

"Why accuse me anyway.? What happened to her.?" Ask Farrel.

Davina fell silent, she became confused herself. Either believe in their confession or not.

"Darling, apparently you're here," Dave's presence broke the silence between the three of them.

"Don't stay out of my sight." Dave doesn't like it. He was confused to find Davina's whereabouts, not wanting his beloved wife to go all the way because of fear of something happening to him.

"Let's go back there," Dave held Davina's hand, one hand holding a glass of orange juice requested by Davina.

"You complained to Davina.?!" Tanya Farrel is full of suppressors. He lowered his voice to avoid being heard by Davina who had just left.

"What kind of ridiculous accusation is that. Where might I expose my own disgrace." Answer Nabila who then passed just like that from in front of Farrel. The woman did not return to the venue, but instead left to leave Farrel's house.
