The Blood Academy
Foxes

Alva just got to his base. He immediately took out a barrel containing fruits. They were very happy because they had so much fruit.

"Yey! We get enough fruit to meet our needs for five days here!" Varrel said happily.

Because of Varrel's words, Alva remembered the chat with her sister.

"Hey, I want to tell you something," said Alva suddenly who made her friends confused.

None of his friends answered, but they were ready to listen. They stared at Alva carefully to listen well to what was to be said.

"So while picking fruit, I met another group, he's my brother. Y'all know? Their group consists of only 6 members, whereas we have 13 members. With their meagre numbers, they don't have the gear we have. For example, a magic tool to store things."

"What?! Seriously?!," said Varrel cutting Alva's story.

"Then, it was possible that they also did not have any other tools that helped the fight. Aren't they so weak?," asked Giselle— his tone was like an understatement.

"But! They're very strong. My brother is much stronger than me. I don't know what his strength is, but if we can't even feel his aura, how can we be able to defeat him?."

Alva's statement made everything quiet and pensive. Also true. If their most powerful chief feels unable, what about those who are just his 'keroco.

Meanwhile, Ava had just arrived at her base after sunset. He came home with a basket of fruit with some vegetables on it and 1 blue deer in his right hand.

"Welcome, Ava."

"Thank you for working so hard."

"It's nothing."

Ava received a warm welcome from her group members. Those at the headquarters had just finished preparing the tools for cooking. They also started a fire to cook.

They cook together and make new recipes according to the existing ingredients. After that, they ate together by sharing stories as they separated from the group.

Velize and the others found a monster that looked quite strong inside the cliff they had dug earlier. So they reported it to Ava.

"All right, I'll handle it later. Now we have to practice first."

"Good, Chief."

They then rehearsed until midnight accompanied by the moon and stars shining brightly.

Unlike the Ava group who trained until midnight, the Alva group was actually relaxing.

The first day has passed. It's time to start their mission. The Alva group together look for monsters while the Ava group split up and search for their own monsters.

Somewhere, Velize is being attacked by Orcs. Behind the bushes, Alva's group was observing him. They were astonished that Velize had not yet launched a single attack.

After quite a while, Velize raised her hand. He slapped the orc. So strong, the head of the orc was destroyed and made him die instantly.

Velize immediately retrieved the valuable items from the Orc's body that could be utilized. After that, he left if Giselle had not called him.

"Hey, you're there! Can you teach me the line you used?" pinta Giselle.

"No. It's not something that can be taught."

Not caring about anything, Velize immediately left them. He still has a mission to complete.

"It's a shame...."

Giselle felt somewhat disappointed at not being able to learn the great moves she saw. However, it was true what Velize said. It was only purely his physical strength, so it could not be taught to anyone.

"Friends, let's continue the search. We have to get it in 2 days and the rest we use to increase the strength" said Alva.

"okay."

"Ready, Captain."

It was not felt, it had already entered the third day. Only Alva, Varrel, Verrel, and Ava have yet to get a contract monster. Alva, Varrel, and Verrel split up in search of a monster suitable for them. Although Ava was also looking for monsters, she did not intend to rush to get them.

In the middle of his journey, he meets Alva again. Seeing her sister having a little trouble with the monster she was facing, Ava approached Alva and helped her.

"Do you intend to make it your contract animal?," asked Ava after throwing some poisoned knives.

"Yes! Please help me, brother."

"okay."

It didn't take long to defeat him. After a few minutes, the monster had already lost. Alva immediately built a contract with him.

"Huff.... Thank you, Brother. If there wasn't a big brother, I'd have a hard time beating him."

"hum. Try calling him."

Alva nodded. He called her by the name, "Fexa."

A white fox they had defeated appeared in front of them. The fox was a little smaller than before.

"Fexa, can you shrink your body even more?" Alva said.

"Good, Master."

"Sister, you've helped me get it. Is there anything I can do?."

"Goodoo. Accompany me to contract with the monsters."

"okay."

Ava leads the way. They jump from one tree to another. Ava takes Alva to a cave connected to a dark forest shrouded in moonlight.

"Kok is suddenly dark?!," said the surprised Alva.

"I've been here before. This place was the home of the Night Fox which was quite powerful. I think it's good to sign him" Ava said with a smile and continued walking.

"Is there any other reason?" asked Alva.

"Hm, ada. Since you contracted the white fox, I thought it would be better if I also had a fox. We're twins, hehe."

Alva smile. She was relieved that she still saw her old brother. Even he himself realized that he was different from the one he used to be. Alva was afraid that her brother would change.

Like a connected memory, Ava seemed to know what her sister was thinking from earlier.

"I've changed, Alva."

Ava stopped her steps, so did Alva. Ava turned her body so they faced each other. Alva frowned in wonder. Whatdoes thatmean?

"So, my guardian spirit is a demon who is a demon queen. With a spirit like that, it's strange if I don't change personality, right?."

Ava stared softly. She wanted to see how her sister's reaction was when she found out she had changed.

Alva shook her head and hugged Ava. He whispered, "It's okay. As long as it doesn't hurt you."

Suddenly, the Night Fox appeared from behind the Alva. Ava who did not want to spoil the atmosphere immediately made a contract with him and the fox disappeared.

One of the terms of the contract; having to weaken the monster to be contracted, would not apply if the person was much stronger than the monster.
