For a moment, both of them forgot the sorrow that filled their hearts. Alex began to smile when he saw Nick woke up and wriggled because of the cold wind.

Aaron, holding Nick, embraces his cousin.

"We pray, Alex. Strong!" said Aaron.

Some doctors and nurses were busy preparing various medical equipment, they did some injections in parts of Melanie's body, then did a heart shock.

However, her heartbeat is no longer detected, Melanie's struggle is over. Doctors removed all hoses and breathing apparatus on Melanie's body, apologizing many times for failing to save the woman who had just become a mother within hours.

All the medics left the room, just Alex, Aaron, Nick and Mrs Gio. Hayley walked cautiously into Melanie's room, stunned when she saw all the doctors coming out of the room with a lethargic face.

"What's going on, Doc?" ask Hayley.

"Sorry, Miss. We couldn't save him" replied the doctor.

Hayley entered the room, watching the heart-wrenching sight of the plagues. Alex hugged his wife's increasingly pale body in a hysterical cry.

"Melanie, please, open your eyes, honey. Open it!" yell Alex.

"This is what you call love. How can you bring my love to the pit, I can't even make you happy. How can I live without, you've brought everything, Mel. Wake up!"

Seeing Alex's increasingly uncontrollable reaction, Hayley takes Nick from Aaron's sling and takes the boy out of the room, while Aaron, he continues to try to calm Alex down.

Madam Gio's reaction was not very noticeable, the middle-aged woman with almost entirely white hair seemed to cry in silence. His eyes were blankly staring at his only daughter lying lifelessly stiff.

She has been sincere since Melanie expressed her desire to get pregnant, because that means, her life will be increasingly threatened by the presence of the new life. After the funeral, Alex and Aaron rush back to Singapore. Aaron wouldn't have the heart to let Hayley in the hospital with Nick, the boy must have been fussy for not being able to sleep well.
