All the guests at the big banquet knew who Aaron Conan Drax was, but not all knew if the man was married, because the marriage they hold is only attended by some important people.

"Mrs. Hayley, you like this party?" ask the host.

"Of course, sir. This party is amazing" Hayley said.

"Oh yes, Mr. Aaron, I heard the news that your ex-boyfriend now has a new partner," Kelvin looked at Aaron who was drinking.

Instantly Aaron coughed a few times, he patted his chest softly easing the breathing that began to stifle.

"Sorry, sorry. I'm sorry, Mr. Aaron, I didn't mean ...."

"It's okay, Mr. Kelvin. Sorry, excuse me, " said Aaron, he went to the bathroom to clean up the wine spill on his shirt.

Hayley was silent in her place, she did not know what to do.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Hayley." Kelvin apologized again.

"It's okay, sir. Oh yeah, what do you mean by my husband's ex-lover Miss Kathrine?" ask Hayley curiously.

"What Mrs. Hayley knew him? yes, I mean Kathrine, the famous artist and model" Kelvin replied.

"Does Miss Kathrine have a new partner now?"

"No need to apologize, thank you for your invitation. Excuse me." Aaron dragged Hayley's wrist, the girl bidding farewell to the host while grimacing withstanding the pain in his wrist, Aaron gripping too strongly.

Hayley just followed Aaron's steps fast enough, she knew if the man heard about the explanation of the gossip that befell his lover, Kathrine.

"Mrs. Ice, please, let go of my hand" whispered Hayley.

Aaron did not care, he took Hayley out of the building and directly into the waiting car.

"Back to the hotel!" aaron's orders to the driver.

While Hayley, she felt her wrists flushed due to Aaron's strong grip, not to mention the bracelet that imprints causing discomfort in her skin.

"I came all the way to the banquet instead of hearing the rubbish gossip, it was nice that the old man said something that wasn't about Kathrine" Aaron muttered, but was still heard by Hayley.

"Mr Kelvin said it was just gossip, Mr. Ice," Hayley said, trying to calm Aaron down.

"Huh, gossip!" screeched Aaron, he rubbed his face rough.

Years together, Kathrine never once lied or betrayed their promise, which is why Aaron freed his lover from various supervision, for Aaron, mutual trust in a relationship is very important.

A year ago, Aaron rarely visited Kathrine because of the company's busy affairs, he never monitored Kathrine's activities because the woman was disturbed by the bodyguards or supervisors who always follow.

"Whatchu mean? I asked Kathrine if she was cheating or not, you mean?" Aaron stared dislikefully at Hayley.

"Bu-not that I mean, Mr. Ice. It's just, there will be no smoke if there is no fire," explained Hayley a little afraid. "That rumor must have come up because there was something, so it's best to ask Kathrine directly."

"So you believe the same kind of rubbish gossip?" aaron asked, this time the man stood directly in front of Hayley with a murderous look.

"Sorry, Mr. Ice. Gossip or not, it's none of my business. So don't involve me in your love affairs" Hayley said. "The rumors can be yes, they can be no. No one knows the truth if you don't ask him directly."

"I know who Kathrine is, she can't possibly mess around behind my back." Aaron rested his body on the sofa, he rubbed his face rough many times. His heart refused to believe, but his instincts said that he should get a real explanation.

"If you believe in each other, why are you so angry, Mr. Ice?" ask Hayley. "From my normal vision, you doubt Kathrine. Isn't that just gossip?"

"Shut up, Hayley!"

"Love is supposed to carve happy, not even sculpt wounds. If you love each other, is not being a halal partner the happiest thing? but you, instead, choose to sculpt the small wounds between your hearts" Hayley explained.

Aaron stood up, he stepped out of the hotel room, no matter Hayley who had rambled at length to give him advice.

"Well, love is blind. I don't really know who your boyfriend is, Mr. Ice. But I really understand, if the woman who really loves you will not be willing to let the man she loves join together at the wedding with other women. What kind of love is that!" inner Hayley.

Hayley had never felt in love for a long time, the first time she loved, the first time she felt the heart break into small pieces.

In the past, when he had just graduated from High School, he was accepted at a prestigious state faculty in this country, he knew a man who was so good, he knew a man who was so good, so good that he fell in love and went crazy.
