Regretting

The sunlight through the window of the glass, the cool morning air makes a pair of humans drown the body into a thick, warming blanket.

Waving her eyes slowly, Hayley realized that someone else was now in a blanket with her, and she felt a warm breath coming down her face.

A stocky arm coiled over the abdomen, Hayley gasped in shock, she rubbed her eyes many times while adjusting her breath, looking at the handsome figure who was now sleeping holding her.

Revealing the blanket slowly, Hayley felt the skin coming into contact with the skin.

"Oh my God!" his mind, wanting himself to scream, but a shadow about what he experienced last night flashed in his head.

Inside the blanket, her body was plain without a single piece of cloth, as well as the men beside her, they were actually sleeping in a state of disfashion.

Holding back a cry, Hayley put away the burly arms that were hugging her tightly, carefully reaching for the dress that was lying on the floor and covering her body until she entered the bathroom.

Aaron wakes up, but he still pretends to sleep so Hayley does not get hysterical.

Hayley's tears broke as a shower of warm water soaked her entire body, she felt despicable, she felt bad considering what she did last night.

Without making the slightest sound of sobbing, Aaron realized his girl was crying regretting the momentary pleasure they had achieved all night.

Thirty minutes passed, Hayley came out of the bathroom with wet hair and puffy eyes, the girl wearing only a white towel that she wrapped around her chest and a little thigh. As for Aaron, he was fully dressed waiting at the edge of the bed.

Glancing at Aaron at a glance, Hayley continued his steps towards the dressing room.

"Hayley," said Aaron softly, he approached Hayley who was standing in front of the mirror.

There was no excuse, the girl was silent with shaky shoulders, shame, anger, regret, and whatever it was, it was so frustrating and depressing.

Aaron approached, hugging Hayley's body from behind, he had guessed that this would happen after Hayley realized everything, and Aaron was ready to bear any risks.

"You angry? please be angry, Hayley," said Aaron softly. "Loved? i-i know. Sorry, I can't control myself."

There was no answer, Hayley was even sobbing with her shoulders shaking violently.

Aaron took off his embrace, flipping Hayley's body so they could face each other.

"Look at me, Hayley," said Aaron, he gently lifted the girl's chin.

Red eyes puffy with tears that had nothing to stop flowing, Hayley was unable to speak a word.

"We are a legitimate married couple. What we did last night wasn't a mistake, it wasn't an insult to regret, Hayley!"

Hayley looked up, she looked at Aaron fixedly.

"Otherwise you want to say, this is just a contract marriage?" ask Aaron. "Now not anymore. I'll take responsibility for all this, we'll start all over."

"Sorry." Slowly, Hayley said softly almost inaudibly.

"Nothing to forgive. It's not a mistake" said Aaron, he gripped Hayley tightly, calming the girl before him.

"Come, get your clothes on. We're going down for breakfast" asked Aaron, he opened the closet and had a long pajama stel as a casual dress for Hayley.

At the dinner table, Alex was waiting impatiently, he was already sitting in his chair for almost half an hour with a rumbling stomach.

"People go where, anyway," murmured Alex annoyed.

Gazing up at the stairs, he saw Aaron descending with Hayley, the man hugging Hayley's shoulder as he rubbed gently.

Hayley did not reply, Aaron led her into a chair, then gestured to his cousin who did not have the mouth brake for a moment.

Alex was instantly speechless as Aaron glared at him, now that he knew, there was something that had happened at the end of the party, a party that Aaron and Hayley both enjoyed.

Breakfast this morning was quiet, the three of them seemed to be in silence. Hayley only ate a few mouthfuls of rice, then daydreamed about what was on her plate.

After he finished eating, Aaron drove Hayley back to his room.

"Rest, I have a need for a while" said Aaron, he told Hayley to lie down on the bed, then put on a blanket, before he left, a kiss he landed on the girl's forehead.

After Aaron's departure, Hayley returned to tears, curled under a blanket hugging her knees.

"Why? why did all this happen? why?" The question rang in his head.

Sorry, it is no longer useful.

He himself chose to snatch the drink from Aaron's hand, nothing forced, his intention was only to save Aaron, because he knew Kathrine was planning something sneaky.

There was a bit of relief in the chest, because instead of Aaron taking the stimulant drug, if it happened, then fate might change and turn around, Kathrine would have gotten what she wanted.

Wouldn't if Kathrine was back with Aaron, then Hayley would be free from this marriage?

Unfortunately Hayley did not, she felt unwilling if Aaron returned to a woman like Kathrine, her heart refusing Aaron away, but she also wanted another man by her side, Marcel.

The man's name immediately overshadowed him. Imagining the disappointment Marcel experienced, Hayley grew increasingly frustrated.

Aaron realized, he is not the only person who is struggling to win the heart of the girl, with this incident, maybe his marriage will last longer with Hayley, he said, he could have started a real housewife with the girl, but what was complicated was Hayley's own feelings.

"Already, Aaron. Sorry is not useful. Now, just how did you get Hayley to open her heart, Marcel's business, leave it to me!"

"Thank you, Alex. You're the best."

"Sure, Alex that's it!"
