The Bride Pay

The Bride Pay
Sharaa

The middle-aged woman felt her chest tight, she knew what it was like to be the son who had to lose love for the second time.

Whether really love or not, but this is able to make the son almost crazy.

Sharaa, the middle-aged woman who was sitting down took a slow sip of the hot greentea she was serving.

Waiting, he had to wait until he had a chance to get close to Hayley, and ask for clarity about all of this.

In the middle garden of the restaurant, Aaron so spoiled his wife, he ordered a variety of ice cream and snacks with various kinds.

"Which one do you like?" ask Aaron.

"I love this chocolate-flavored ice cream. It's not too sweet, right."

"Oh, yeah. All the ice cream in this place uses good ingredients. I took it directly from the company in Switzerland."

"Well, far away."

"There are producers of quality chocolate in the country" Aaron explained.

Rolling conversations of the types of food then about the origin of the construction of this restaurant. Aaron was very proud to tell his wife.

The day was getting late, Hayley was getting tired and wanted to invite Aaron to return home. However, his steps stopped when he looked at each other with Sharaa, someone he already knew so closely.

"What's wrong?" ask Aaron.

"Can I see that mother?" hayley asked hesitantly, fearing that Aaron would be upset if he was still in contact with Marcel's family.

Nodding in agreement, Aaron simply followed Hayley's steps towards the number 20 table where Sharaa was sitting alone.

Seeing Hayley approaching, Sharaa stood up trying to greet as warmly as possible.

"How are you, honey. Long time no see" said Sharaa.

"Well," Hayley replied, she seemed confused about what to call Sharaa, if she usually never awkwardly called the woman 'Mama', so Aaron's presence and the complexity of the matter make the call feel strange.

"Sit, Son. I want to have a chat" Sharaa said. "You too please sit down, Mr. Aaron's."

Aaron, standing at a loss beside Hayley, followed his wife to sit next to her. To be honest, he did not know her at all, but he had a feeling that Hayley was very close to Sharaa.

"May I ask you something?" sharaa said, she let out a heavy sigh before expressing her curiosity.

"Please" Hayley replied briefly.

"Wait, I don't understand, who are you, ma'am? why does it look so close to my wife?" ask Aaron.

"Ah, yes. Sorry in advance if I haven't introduced myself, Mr. Aaron's."

"Just call me Aaron."

"Good, Aaron. I'm Sharaa, mama Marcel. You know who Marcel is, right?" ask Sharaa.

Aaron frowned, he looked at the middle-aged woman who seemed to have been close for a long time and knew each other well with his wife.

"Hayley," said Sharaa softly, he grabbed Hayley's hand and grasped it. "Is it true that you and Marcel are no longer in a relationship?" sharaa asked, she stared at Hayley's gray bead in search of honesty.

"Sorry, Madam. Sorry if I answered. Hayley is my wife, indeed she should not have any relationship with other men" replied Aaron firmly but calmly.

At first glance, Aaron looked at Hayley. His mind hurt a little, when he realized that his wife had given other men great hope after their marriage contract ended. It's worth it Marcel was so crazy to go this far, inner Aaron.

"The situation is different, madam. Our marriage was not a charade, our marriage was legal and religious. It's just that, the initial intention was wrong" Aaron explained.

"Maybe what the mistress heard from Marcel was true. But now, we love each other, we'll never end this marriage" she continued.

Turning his gaze at Hayley, Sharaa asked. "What's that, Hayley?"

Nodding, Hayley was unable to see where Sharaa was, she knew the woman in front of her was very disappointed, but all was done, there was nothing else she could do.

"I'm disappointed, Hayley. Disappointed." Sharaa said as she shook her head slowly. His heart ached when he knew the truth he could not believe.

"You came into our lives just to stop by and give us great hope, did you? Your arrival is like an angel in Marcel's life, but you're gone and you're also carrying his whole soul."

"Right now, he's empty, Hayley. He is no longer like my old son, you took everything from us" Sharaa said.

Under the table, Aaron grabbed a hand of Hayley squeezing her dress, her hands wet and trembling.

"One more time, I'm sorry, ma'am. You have no right to judge my wife so badly, not her fault."

"It's not her fault? then whose fault is it?"

"I think this is enough between me, my wife, and Marcel. We'll finish it ourselves."

"Can't be that."

"Sorry, Madam. I think we can solve this problem ourselves. And please, give your son advice, don't play underhandedly and cunningly for something he can't get."

Ignoring Aaron's words, Sharaa looked back at Hayley, hoping that the young woman in front of him would change his mind.

"Hayley, I think of you as my own son. Why are you so ...."

"I'm sorry, Auntie. Looks like aunt was wrong, aunt just thinks of me as a potential aunt's daughter-in-law who's gone. And Marcel, he doesn't love me, he just loves Anne. And I'm not Anne" Hayley said gently, trying her best not to hurt Sharaa.

"Sorry, it's not love. Rather than lust and obsession," continued Hayley, he tried hard so as not to shed tears.

Slightly surprised to hear Hayley's confession, Sharaa also felt disappointed Hayley called him 'Tante'. But what Hayley did was to keep her husband feeling.

"Do you know everything?" sharaa.

"Then Marcel didn't tell me everything" Hayley replied.

"Hayley, but ...."

"Enough, Mistress. I think it's all clear, this mistake is with Marcel, so stop prejudging my wife" Aaron said, standing up and holding Hayley's hand.

"Hayley, wait," interrupted Sharaa, but Aaron no longer cared, he grabbed his wife's waist and left the restaurant as quickly as possible.

Aaron couldn't possibly hold back his anger when someone else thought badly of Hayley. However, Sharaa's words about the great hope Hayley had given Marcel, made Aaron feel a little bit of a sliver in his heart.

Aaron felt neglected to look after Hayley, and he also regretted playing with a sacred bond, he did not expect that everything would end like this, everything was far from what he had planned.

But right now, he was grateful that everything was much better, even much better than he wanted. God gave him what he needed, not what he wanted.
