Just as Alex was about to continue the action, the sound of the phone ringing stopped their action.
"I'll go, don't forget to come tomorrow night at 7, don't be late" said Melanie, she tidied up her hair and tangled dress.
Alex just nodded in response to Melanie's words, then received a phone call on her phone.
"Tante, what's wrong?" alex asked, apparently the one who called him this morning was Samantha.
"You're not bothered? can I go to aunt's?" ask Samantha.
"I just got home in the afternoon, Auntie. There's some important work."
"Where is the bastard?" murmur Samantha.
"If Aaron's what you mean, then the answer is he's on vacation."
"Vacation? it's a weekday and she's having a good vacation?"
"Yes, my Aunt. Like him, the office also has him" said Alex.
"It's you, it's the same!" exciting Samantha. "Aunty wait at home later this afternoon."
"Good, Auntie." Alex hung up.
Alex's feelings are not good, not usually Samantha asked him to come to the house, usually if there is any need, Samantha just conveyed by phone.
After a moment, Alex forgets her fight with Melanie, she refocuses on all her work while Aaron is absent.
Over the course of a day, Alex did all his work perfectly. The man had indeed inherited the business talent that was passed down by his parents, especially the papa.
At 4 p.m., Alex rushes out of the office and heads straight to Aaron's parents' house, but he also has an interest to investigate regarding Hayley and Marcel's relationship that Samantha knows.
"Sore, Aunt," Alex said to Samantha, who was sitting in the park chair reading a magazine.
The middle-aged woman put down her magazine and took off her glasses. "Just come home from work?" tanyakanya.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Where's the bastard going?"
"Already, Aunt. Aaron's not really what aunt mentioned."
"Don't keep defending her, Alex. Aunty knows better how aunty's son. If it wasn't for that lowly woman who became his wife, then maybe Aaron turned into a son of dissident."
"Ah, Hayley's not as bad as I thought."
"What's wrong with you guys? uh huh? has that woman brainwashed you into thinking that way?"
Alex melengos, he did not come to hear the various insults Samantha on Aaron or Hayley, he had his own needs.
"If I may know, why would aunty slander Hayley if the child in her womb was not Aaron's?" search Alex.
Samantha smiled in a slant. "Tante knows everything. The cheap woman, who was in an illicit relationship with a young businessman named Marcellus Gerald, and the man who almost destroyed our company's business."
"really? where does aunt know? how is that supposed to be believed?" Alex fishing Samantha.
"Of course, from the aunt's confidant."
"Don't talk about anything without proof, Auntie. You all know, Aaron's a no-brainer, and Aaron must hate this."
"You've always defended him, Alex. Wonder!"
"Tante still really likes orchids as it turns out," said Alex.
"You know, all aunt's siblings are orchid lovers, especially your mama."
Alex nodded at a glance, dismissing the feeling that was seeping in his chest, a feeling of disappointment, pain, and something he could not express.
"Actually, aunt told you to come, because there is someone who wants to meet you," said Samantha.
"Who?" ask Alex.
A middle-aged woman with hair in a high bun, walking from the door of the house to the park, he approached Alex who was sitting while crossing his legs.
"Alex," greeted the woman with a hoarse voice.
Surprised, Alex stood up from his seat, staring at the person right in front of him.
"Alex, it's mama. You've grown up, you've grown up the way you want."
The woman, Friska, is a woman in her sixties who has been more than fifteen years away without saying goodbye leave Alex at Samantha's house.
At that time, Alex was ten years old, on Alex's 10th birthday, Friska brought her son to Samantha's house, he promised Alex to play with Aaron as a birthday present, he promised, friska never returned after all this time.
Friska grabs Alex's wrist, but Alex quickly brushes over.
"Alex, this is mama" said Friska quivering, seeing her only son not remembering her, is the most painful thing for a mother.
Though, it's not like that. Alex is still very clear considering the face and voice typical of the woman in front of him, not the least Alex forgot all about Friska.
"Alex, she's your mama, did you forget?" timpal Samantha's.
"really? isn't the person I call my mama disappeared decades ago?" said Alex.
"Alex, I'm sorry mama."
"I'm sorry? can you say with that apology, you change everything? can you change my assessment of you?"
"Alex, don't talk rudely to your mama!" sentak Samantha's.
"Speaking rude? I even forgot how to talk to my parents. Funny right?" Alex laughed, forcing his lips to smile, but his heart was being torn to shreds at this moment.
"How can a person who has been gone for more than fifteen years, then suddenly come and claim to be my mama? it's crazy, yeah!" squeal Alex.
"Alex, watch what you say!" tuding Samantha, while Friska, only stared at the silver-haired male nanar who had filled her days for ten years.
"Mom knows, it's not easy. Mama's gonna try to fix everything, Alex. Forgive me, mother please." Friska sits down in front of Alex, begging the child to forgive all of his past mistakes.
Friska realized that her mistake was huge and would never even be forgiven. All because of his greed in the past, after father Alex died, Friska no longer cares about Alex, he only considers his son as a burden, because he would mind living Alex without the presence of a husband.
Alex budged, not even a little he felt longing for the woman who gave birth to him.
When Alex graduated from college that he paid for himself, he had tried hard to find the existence of Friska, but the woman was lost in the swallow of the earth. Alex asks Friska's whereabouts to all of Friska's relatives and close friends that Alex knows, but all of them are nil. Until the feeling of longing and the desire to meet it just disappears, it hardly leaves any traces.
"Tante, I have important business. I have to go," said Alex to Samantha, not even a single glance at Friska underneath.
"Wait, Alex," cried Samantha, but Alex still stepped away leaving two middle-aged women in the park.
Sick and disappointed, that's all Alex feels right now. It had been fifteen years more, even he had completely forgotten who the figure of the woman who had cared for him as a child.
