This morning, before Alex went to the office, he had to visit the hospital first to keep his promise, he had to make sure that Nora would be fine.

"How are you doing?" ask Alex.

"Good, Sir. Thank you for taking me to this hospital," said Nora, the girl is now half-sitting on the bed.

"good. Just call me Alex. I'll see the doctor, you'll be here" said Alex. But just as he was about to get out of the hospital room, he turned back. "What breakfast do you want?"

"No need, sir. I had breakfast" replied Nora.

"I told you, just call Alex."

"Good, Alex."

Alex went to the room where the doctor was waiting for him, in the room, the doctor explained Nora's condition in great detail. The girl had an injury to her ankle.

The doctor showed X-ray results that showed Nora's ankle cracked and almost broken.

"Did it take a long time to heal, Doc?" ask Alex.

"Fast 4 weeks, can be up to 6 weeks," said the doctor.

"Okay, thanks, Doc." Alex leaves and returns to Nora's room.

As he was about to enter the room, Alex saw Nora eating the porridge that had just been delivered by a nurse, the girl was eating very greedily.

"You likey?" ask Alex.

"Like, Sir."

"Call me Alex, my name is Alexavier Bancroft. Have you informed your family? your parents or your brother?" ask Alex.

"I have no one" answered Nora weakly.

"Ah, Oh my God. I hurt an orphan girl," inner Alex.

"You don't have a brother?" alex asked again, but Nora just shook her head.

"Where do you live?"

"Before, I was staying at a boarding house near the XXX hotel, but I've been kicked out the same one that had a cost."

"Why?"

"Can't pay."

Alex nodded in understanding, the feeling of guilt grew when he knew the truth how unfortunate the fate of the girl in front of him.

"Doctor said, you can only recover in about four to six weeks. I'll keep an eye on your treatment and therapy, don't worry, I'll take care of all the expenses" Alex explained.

"Thank you very much, Alex," Nora said with a sincere smile.

"Aren't you mad that I hit you like this?"

Alex watched carefully, listening to every word Nora said.

"Every problem must have a way out, suicide is not a way out that can be chosen. You should be grateful, God still gives you a chance to breathe until this second."

Nora just smiled a little at Alex's advice, she felt that if the man in front of her was a good man, the big sense of responsibility Alex showed made Nora feel happy, at least, at least, he can know good people.

"I'm going to work, you take good care of yourself. The doctor will continue to monitor your health, and he will continue to report it to me. Don't worry." Alex said goodbye, and he left the hospital.

His work in the office is not too much, there are only a few meetings that must be attended, after which he can go home at will.

From nightfall, Alex's phone kept ringing, signaling incoming calls and piled up messages, Alex had already read them all, and it was a call and a message from a new number saying that it was Friska.

Alex sat in his chair staring at the picture of his childhood, he had a difficult time and a lot of painful things to grow up this mature, and everything he went through without Friska. If Alex is currently a bad-behaved man, it is due to his lack of affection and upbringing from his parents. Maybe, if only Alex was nurtured directly by the mother, his nature and character is not as bad as it is today.
