Chapter 17 - Finding the culprit

It was already dusk, it did not feel to the star that time had passed so quickly Star said goodbye to Lean and the family.

"Don't forget to come again huh" said Lean who waved at Star.

"Yes" replied Star who was walking with Nicles towards their inn.

Star walked while looking towards the sky where the sun as a whole had disappeared from the horizon.

The cool air hit Star's face, the leaves falling from the top of the tree this warm and peaceful atmosphere Star felt quietly.

But, the calm atmosphere did not last long seen the innkeeper's uncle was rubbing his wife's shoulders.

The innkeeper's uncle's wife cried sitting on the chair, her face looking shocked like she had seen something terrible.

"What's up?" asked Star.

The uncle pointed at the wooden box near the entrance, which was a very neat and perfectly made wooden city.

Star looked towards Nicles ordering him to open the box "good sir." Nicles slowly opened it.

Nicles was surprised to see the city, although he insisted on calm but his mind and heart rejected it, Nicles' face was very surprised to see the box.

The curious star looked directly at the box as it turned out that there was a human arm in the box and worse yet the arm had a bracelet that the innkeeper's son had .

It can be concluded that it was their son's arm, just before when Star and Nicles went outside, the uncle told his son to buy something at the market.

The child went to the market, but she had not returned until dusk, her mother was worried so she told her husband to look for their child.

When her husband was about to go out looking, there was a knock on the door outside but when checked there was no one outside and instead seen a box in front of the door.

The uncle brought the box inside and opened it and his wife who saw it immediately cried hysterically to see the pieces of his son's hand contained in the box.

Usually at this time people come to just eat and rest in the inn so people come from the door.

"Right, but the kid's my experimental material" Rack said.

The man did not put on a guilty face or coercion about his work it was just a happy and satisfied face as if the work had become his hobby.

"Then I'm sorry I accidentally brought this too" Star smiled insularly and took her head off her inventory .

"Ap...how can you be so brave." shouted Rack.

"Eh, how angry is that? you also take other people's members you keep sending them to their families so I do too" said the star who still holds the boy's head.

"My son..fuck you give him back the way he was or I kill you." Rack's yelling filled the room .

"Are you able to return them to how they were?." the cold tone that asked Rack made him gasp in shock.

"Geh.. of course not." he said.

"You know losing someone we love is painful, you have a family too so you must understand what they feel when their family is hurt" Star said.

Rack was speechless unable to answer the statement, seeing Star's huge aura it made his goosebumps smile stiffly looking at it. The fear from him was getting bigger he was like seeing a monster no more precisely the demon king who was holding back his emotions.

Rack immediately chanted the mantra "O Dark Lord serve me I give him a curse that hurts skin curses" said Rack who immediately directed his attack on Star.

The attack had no impact on Star, then he took out his skill once again "shortness of breath." once again he said that, but his attack did not inflict anything on Star.

"What your attack is just this way" Star said.

Star immediately released the skill "Heal and be healthy." instantly the separated body of the limb immediately fused and the tube broke.

Those injured recovered, the star walked toward the innkeeper's son "Necles" Star said.

Nicles was immediately beside the star with the child's hand, Star ordered him to take the child's hand. Star held the hand and put it together where the hand was.

"There's no way how he could heal and connect it." Rack was stunned to see that.

That mixed expression made Rack speechless trying as hard as possible to understand the current situation.
