Chapter 35 - what a surprise

"Ugh ... I seem to be sound asleep." Star got up from her bed hearing the knock of the door.

"Sir can I go in to help you prepare?" asked one in a gentle tone.

"Please." Star walked towards the mirror.

The man walked in. he introduced a maid outfit that looked to match a slightly visible cleavage.

The woman with a pretty face, meticulous in her duties approached Star and lowered her body.

"Oh, so you're the one who's assigned now huh?" asked Star who was sitting in front of the mirror.

The servant approached Star and gently combed Star's hair "True sir."

Star helped the waitress prepare by wearing bright light blue clothes in a little white dress.

"Yosh, thank you." Star went out with the waiter.

"Together sir." replied the waiter.

While on the road not far from his study, he saw Gilda waiting.

"Yo, Gilda what were you from earlier?." (Star)

"Right sir, I'm here waiting to help you with your work, even if it doesn't help much." Gilda walked up to Star while glancing at the servant that her task was done.

The servant understood Gilda's glance and immediately went to continue her work. Star returned to her day as usual to complete the task.

Although, Star actually does not like to take care of work like this.he has to do like it or not the job is already his responsibility.

The job is reminiscent of his former life as a karoshi office clerk.

(Note: karoshi Japanese term which means dead of fatigue )

Where he only dedicates himself to working whole life, but unfortunately he is even exhausted which leads to death.

(Note: It has been explained in the first chapter that Star receives memories in various lives which means she continues to incernate endlessly)

"Hmmm." Star's eyes stared at the calm looking Gilda tidying up the stack of books.

Gilda deftly cleaned the chaotic Star room, because the Star room could not be carelessly cleaned by ordinary servants without permission from Gilda.

Gilda was very understanding about her duties as Butler.she always kept an eye on the work of others and observed whether it was completely clean or not. even the smallest of the dust will be seen by Gilda because her eyes are wary of the room.

While they were busy with their respective tasks, they heard the sound of hurried footsteps.

"Tap, tap, tap."

The more clearly heard by the two of them, then the footprints stopped right at the door of Star's room.

Star's eyes looked towards Gilda who was also looking at Star. Gilda nodded her head, she understood with Star's eye movements.

Gilda opens the door, and a woman who is none other than Sha enters the Star room.

"I want to ask you something, Sha. Are you afraid to be here?" asked Star, who stopped checking the documents.

Sha's eyes looked at Gilda, seemingly fearing Gilda's nature as much as anyone else.

"Just calm down, that Gilda won't get angry.she's quite calm and smart in her emotions." Star is aware of that.

Sha remained silent.he was really like a child who was afraid to see monsters. The face that was sweating in fear was trying to resist the trembling in his body.

Star let out a long sigh right after which she directly spoke "Gilda can you go out! I want to speak to Sha personally." Star told Gilda to leave.

"Alright sir." without refuting Gilda directly obeyed Star's orders.

After Gilda left, Star resumed her "Let's talk quietly here." Star flicked his finger and the room immediately turned blank leaving only a table with two benches.

"You want to drink?" asked Star with a small smiling face.

"I.. iy ... yes." Sha looks agitated.

"There's no need to be afraid, we just talk casually." Star poured a cup of tea that appeared out of nowhere.

Sha sat down slowly, his eyes slowly looking at Star who was pouring tea with the face of a child.

"I heard from Gilda that you were watched directly by Xavier. I can only apologize that Xavier was cold and grumpy." Star sat in the chair opposite Sha.

"She was very cruel and sadistic. Every day I had to do work that could not rest even for a while.not to mention sometimes she likes to hit my head." Sha's face became grim after saying that.

"She's so. Well, I think it can train your mentality." - Star.

"When at home I usually go to school, then go home to play games or watch TV broadcasts. "supu Sha.

Star who heard that immediately said, "What do you mean?" asked Star.

"Anu, I was once a high school boy who died from being too tired, right after I opened my eyes there was a beautiful woman in all-white clothes wrapped in flowers in her head staring at me. he spoke that I would be reincarnated into another world and given strength, but there was a condition that I should obey any order from that woman, if only I refused then the torture would be me." Sha explained.

"How many times have I told you not to speak formally to me. You are not an Altair, nor what torture do you mean?." (Star).

"I've seen someone who was tortured by the Goddess brutally and viciously. his body was squeezed like laundry cloth until all his organs were scattered out, he said, just by pointing her finger she can make that person die horribly makes me really shudder in fear." Sha's eyes glared.

"Goddess? ah, I understand, then has the Goddess contacted you?." asked Star with a serious face.

"So far I have not heard the call of the Goddess, anu .... have you put up a barrier?." (Sha).

"Oh, yes I forgot. Well then you can continue your work." Star wakes up and returns the room to its original state in the same way.

"Ba. good... " Sha walked out, as she reached the door Sha turned around and lowered her face "Thank you I'm so relieved after telling the master." Sha quickly turned back his body and left there.

I was quite surprised by what Sha told me about him, that he was actually a person who incarnated from earth into this strange world.

But, why do I not meet the Goddess or God when I die. instead I immediately became the avatar of this game that I always play.

"The more complicated you think, Silvia?." Star smiled looking towards the front door.
