Recalling what happened ten years ago, when Setsu and Soldier met at a secret military training ground for children with special powers. Different from the Soldiers brought by Zam, Setsu is one of the children who survived the great tragedy of attacking the predators.

Of course, not only the two of them, there are thousands of children living a kara due to the attack of predators from the Noir dimension, including one little girl who follows wherever Setsu goes. Setsu and a little girl named Zifa come from the same village, losing their parents and relatives, with no other relatives to take care of them.

In fact Setsu and Zifa have unique bodies as well as high-level talents in the processing of deep power. But before that, they were given a choice, live a normal life in an orphanage until adulthood, or participate in military training as prospective special forces members.

Setsu and Zifa choose to take part in military training on the grounds of vengeance against the predators who have destroyed their lives. Although for some things Setsu wants Zifa to live a normal life without the need to bet lives.

Zifa obviously rejected Setsu's wish even though it was for her own good, she had no other purpose, a normal life just a bit of resignation to accept reality, while her heart held the same grudge as Setsu had towards predators.

Without having to fight with each other again and Setsu really understands the stubbornness of Zifa, he said, until both were in a special military force group called Raynor Avya (Soldiers strong and immortal) along with Soldiers.

In Raynor Avya's group, Setsu and Zifa are the first friends who are truly close to the Army, teaching many things about life and the bond of relatives like family.

The military world is hard and cruel, not only about training, but the fight against predators or fellow humans who try to seek to harass the sovereignty of the country is the same as betting on life. Whoever took this path, was prepared in all the worst possible situations, but Setsu always protected Zifa, he did many things so that Zifa could survive.

A clear proof of Setsu's feelings for Zifa, even everyone who knows them is completely aware that Setsu's attention shows love so sincerely. But fate says otherwise, when a major attack occurs that Zifa has to lose her life, that's when Soldier realizes that she has lost someone valuable in her life.

Soldiers remember, on top of the grave of death that buried Zifa's body, Setsu stood up without budding, for a long time he did not leave, only silent and alone. Until Soldier comes and tries to make Setsu feel better. But before the Soldier spoke, Setsu said...

"I remember the last night before Zifa died, I told her the feelings I'd been keeping up all this time, but do you know the answers I got."

Soldiers were silent and did not dare to ask or reply to Setsu's words, when they saw him turn around, blank eyes full of regret and despair he showed.

"She didn't really think that my feelings were love, I just made her a substitute for my dead sister."

"I don't understand why you're saying this to me."

"Because back then, when she was last night with us, Zifa preferred to go to your place with worry, and you.... And you're a soldier, why can't you save Zifa." Shouting loudly Setsu with a cry.

No answer came out of the Soldier's mouth, only to watch Setsu suffer while he felt guilty for failing to protect Zifa. One week after his death, Setsu resigns, leaving Raynor Avya's army to become a school student again.
