Chapter 2: Revenge Plan

Sunlight creeping in between – between my windows. I opened my eyes and woke up. The clock is 08:00. I walked to the bathroom and took a shower.

After that I got dressed. I opened the door and headed for the kitchen. I'm planning on making breakfast for Dante and Lukas. I fry the beef-eye eggs and then compose them with bread.

After that I made orange juice and milk. I knocked on the door of Dante's room and Luke. Waking them up is time consuming. I sat there looking at my phone.

After 20 minutes of waiting, her end Dante and Luke came with a random hairdo – scramble.

“I'm sorry our Mint made you wait a long time. This is all because of Lukas,” said Dante as he stared intently at Lukas.

“Ehh, not because you invited me to a duel,” said Lukas.

“Did you guys fight last night?" ask me to look at them flat.

Dante and Luke arrive – arrive laughing at my stupid question.

“What's up?" ask me again.

“Mint, Lukas and I played a game last night. I challenged Lukas but he lost. I cannot match Lukas,” said Dante while scratching his head that does not itch.

After explaining that, Dante and Luke continue his feud. I just ate my bread and sent someone a message. I finished my breakfast quickly.

“Friends – friends, today you guys just rest. I'm going out to meet someone."

“Who's Mint?" ask Dante.

“Friends." I replied briefly and directly left them.

I went out and headed for the garage. I drove my car fast. I saw the sun getting higher. Today the weather is very sunny. I keep driving my car.

30 Minutes later I reached the center of Adra. Today is tuesday. The busy atmosphere is even felt in this city. People go to their workplaces.

I parked in front of a large house with a large yard. I rang the bell and a middle-aged woman came out from behind the fence.

“Who's looking for miss?"

“I'm looking for Uncle Astof. Is he home?"

“It just so happens that he is having breakfast with his wife and son – his children."

“What I can enter. I'm Uncle Astof's nephew."

Without further ado the woman immediately told me to come in. He led me to the family dining room. When he got there, Uncle Astof was praising his first son.

There is a wife who is none other than my father's brother and his two sons and his daughter. When he saw me, Uncle Astof was shocked.

“What are you doing here?" asked the astof uncle who immediately made all eyes turn on me.

“Mint, is that you?" ask Aunt Anne who is none other than Uncle Astof's wife.

“It's me aunty."

Aunt Anne ran to hug me crying. He asked me where I had been all this time. He was very worried about me. I hugged my aunt tightly, there was a warmth that I had long longed for. Uncle Astof just silently stared.

He can't say what – is. Aunt Anne let me sit with them.

“Mother, whose sister is it?" ask Uncle Astof's daughter.

“He is your cousin, Mint. He's the kid that mom always tells me about."

“Then what business are you here for?" asked Uncle Astof's first son in his cynical tone.

“Where is your manners Asyuar? Did Mom ever teach you to say disrespectful,” grumbled aunt Anne.

Only Aunt Anne welcomes me here. Even Asghar looked at me cynically. They must have thought if I came here to ask them for money.

I stared at Uncle Astof who had been silent since then. He just looked down.

“Uncle, why didn't uncle pick me up at the parlor?" I asked as I looked at Uncle Astof who had avoided looking at me.

“Why didn't aunt ask uncle?"

“Explain to me Astof what have you done to my nephew?" furious aunt Anne.

Asmi, Asyuar and Asghar were so shocked when they heard their mother was angry. It's the first time they've seen their mother get so mad. Aunt Anne who was known as a meek woman, today turned so furious because of her niece.

“How can you do this Astof. You know I've been looking for Mint for 15 years and you didn't tell me anything about mint. You even brought mint to the orphanage. Are you really human?" aunt Anne said with her cry.

“I can explain all her dear. I'm just confused. I just thought Mint was better at the orphanage,” Astof's uncle said.

"I can't believe those words came out of your mouth. Have you forgotten who's been helping us all this time? Have you forgotten the wealth we enjoy is not ours ? It's all Mint's, '" said aunt Anne.

"What's? I've been trying to do everything. This is all my effort. Your brother is nothing with me. All of this wealth is mine," Uncle Astof said without feeling guilty.

"That's great you're a fucking girl. You messed up our breakfast," Asghar said.

Hearing that, Aunt Anne just shut her mouth while holding back her cries. She wiped her tears and looked at her husband.

“I want us to split up. I can't live with a – male who has abandoned my nephew one – one."

Anne's aunt's words were like a nightmare in the morning. The atmosphere of a very solemn breakfast turned into a cry. The cry of Asmi who heard the farewell of her parents.

Asghar and Ashuar were so angry. They both looked at me cynically. I just stared at them flat.

“So you left me because of your fucking niece. If you want to split up please but don't expect you to get what – is from me."

“I don't need what – what of a male – male demon like you, son – children are you with mom?"

“I want to join mom,” said Asmi while hugging her mother

“If you come with your mother, you will only be a badass out there," said astof uncle haughtily.

Ashuar and Asghar decided to stay. They don't want to be a bully if they come with their mother. Aunt Anne just packed some of her clothes and makeup. Uncle Astof came up to me and directly slapped me. I just kept quiet and didn't budge.

“You're content to destroy my family girl j*l*ng? I should have killed you first."

“Not yet. I want to see uncle destroyed as broken as his destroyed,“tap me with a cold look.

Uncle Astof retreated away from me. Aunt Anne and Asmi were ready with the suitcase in their hands. I held aunt anne's hand. He looked at me sad.

“I hope you don't regret letting go of me and your – kids for that damn girl."

Regardless of the words, aunt Anne immediately pulled me and Asmi out of the house, aunt Anne's tears still flowing. He stared at the morning with a face as if out of all burdens. He looked at me with a sweet smile.

I helped put – of his stuff in my car. Along the way Aunt Anne asked about me all this time. I told her about how I ran away and the orphanage and tried to find a job.

I stopped at a minimalist house located in the middle of Adra city. This house is the one I prepared for Aunt Anne. I helped her lift the suitcase into the house.

“Mother, this house is very good,” said asmi who immediately ran inside.

“Mint, whose home is this?" ask Aunt Anne

“This is home for Aunty."

Aunt Anne just fell silent and clasped my hand into the house. I sat in front of Aunt Anne. Somehow aunt Anne arrived – arrived crying in front of me. He stroked my cheek and hugged me.

“I'm sorry aunt mint. Aunt can't protect you. For 15 years, aunt has been looking for you, but there's no clue about you. Aunt almost desperate darling. Aunty thinks you why – why. Aunty can't forgive yourself if you're hurt."

“I'm good – just fine aunt."

“See your eyes son, so big your life wound Mint. I'm sorry aunt son."

Aunt anne was still crying. I just shut up and let aunt Anne cry. I felt a warmth long gone from my life.
