Just as Hao Ren struggled to answer, the sound of the doorknob playing bothered him - It was Zhao Guang bringing Zhao Yanzi home.

They were not wet at all because they were in the car. Even though Zhao Guang looked like a fierce father, he showed how much he loved his daughter by picking her up for school by herself in the rain even though she was a busy person.

Zhao Hongyu walked over after her husband entered. "Because there was a storm today, I think Ren should stay here instead of back in the rain" she said.

"Good." Zhao Guang nodded calmly and went upstairs to pick up some clothes.

Zhao Yanzi looked at Hao Ren reluctantly from where he stood as if he was not happy for his territory to enter. She was still unfamiliar with the fact her parents treated Hao Ren as part of the family. He can still hold it in as they take him on a family trip, but now hold it last night? Who's gonna know what's gonna happen next?

The little girls are somewhat territorial at this age, they even draw lines on shared desks at school to mark their territory.

Hao Ren completely ignored Zi's gaze. He never considered her his fiancee. On the other hand, he only hoped that Zhao Yanzi's English value would increase.if that happened, he would not disappoint Zhao Yanzi's parents who had treated him so well.

Not long after, Zhao Guang walked down with a set of checkered gray pajamas and handed it to Hao Ren. " Let's take off your wet jacket first" he said.

"Thank you!" Hao Ren took the pajamas and put them on after taking off his jacket.

The piama was a little big for Hao Ren, but it somehow suited up.

The four washed their hands and sat down for dinner. Hao Ren forgot all the unpleasant things as he looked at the delicious dishes on the table. Recalling, it had been several days since Hao Ren had enjoyed Zhao Hongyu's cooking .

"How lucky is Zhao Yanzi to have such an amazing mother who is loving, caring, smart and beautiful, "he thought.

"Ren, have Zi shown any progress on her English tests lately?" Zhao Hongyu suddenly asked about Zhao Yanzi's schoolwork while they were having dinner.

Zhao Yanzi looked at Hao Ren anxiously as he heard the question.

"There's been some progress. It seemed that he was better than before," Hao Ren did not answer clearly. In reality, only Zhao Yanzi himself knew how bad English was.

"Um.pelan-pelan. Has he done well in school?" Zhao Hongyu continued asking.

Zhao Yanzi silently exhaled as he thought Hao Ren would stir him up. However, Zhao Guang captured all of his expressions. He continued eating without intervening in their conversation.

"It's not just the English, but the other lessons aren't so good either" Zhao Hongyu said after a while, "Mid-semester is a few more days. I hope his grades improve by then. So, if it's not a hassle, can you guide her in other subjects as well? "

Hao Ren of course could not refuse the request of "His mother-in-law". He nodded and said, "Well, I'll try my best."

Soothing classical music is being played in the room, and even heavy rain cannot disturb the cozy atmosphere. Zhao Guang had always been a little talkative man as the head of the family. Zhao Yanzi frowned and pouted. He will probably find various ways to overcome Hao Ren's "invasion" in his life.

Time passed quickly as dinner approached its end.

"You can help Zi with her schoolwork at my studio after eating. I will prepare the bed in his room so that we can rest well today," Zhao Hongyu said softly to Hao Ren.
