The Emissary Of The Night Shadow

The Emissary Of The Night Shadow
Two Different Worlds.

The moon shines brightly, greet the night. The noise of a muffled party rang out from behind the wall. Cats ran across the alley, dropping piles of garbage. The sounds of commotion under the moonlight were not heard by him. Only the sound of the silence of the night spread into the ears. He with his shabby wink, stared blankly ahead. In a dark and long alley, a teenage boy limped walking, full of bruises and cuts all over his body.

"Am I still going back to that place with the excuse of being my home? No, rather what place deserves to bear the name as a place to go home? Although I'm really fed up and want to leave, but I have no choice but to keep coming back." The teenager looked.

A moment was implied in his mind about a question that questioned the existence of the word fair in the world he was living in at the moment. Time and time again he tried to escape from all the things that were eating away at his sanity, but he always had a reason to stick around and deal with it all.

After some time walking in the middle of the silence of the night, he finally stood in front of the shabby house with a familiar pungent smell. The teenager walked up to the door, opened it.

He walked more and more into the main room of the house. Trying to ignore everything that happened in the room was a normal thing for him. He was trained to deal with this situation.

Without being distracted by the surroundings, he walked straight into his private room. Although it is called a private room, in fact everyone can still entrenched in that place. Doing things he hated so much.

After closing the bedroom door, he threw his body on the mattress lying on the floor. With his arms outstretched, he stared at the ceiling of the room. That blank look of hers, I don't know what's on her mind right now. He just seemed unable to be at the center of his mind.

The ticking of the clock filled the void, before finally the sound of the door crashing sounded. A middle-aged woman stood in the doorway. His tall and fat stature added to the impression of fear when faced with him. The woman glared at the frail body lying on the floor mattress. He who realized the intent of the woman's gaze instantly changed the position of his body. He sat cross-legged while returning back the gazes directed at him.

"What did you get today?" The woman's shrill voice did not make her shudder in the slightest. The woman raised her index finger, pushing the finger forward and backward as if beckoning the teenager, Rito, to approach her. Rito stood up, approaching Claire, the middle-aged woman. Really too beautiful a name for such a bad person.

The woman shook her head, staring at Rito's goal, waiting for the answer to the question he gave.

"Today there is none." Rito replied in a firm tone.

"Whatdidyou say? There ain't? Even though your torso has been destroyed like this? How come there's not a single piece of stolen stuff you've brought!" Claire floated her palm, slapping Rito's cheek. With such a large body, it was natural for Rito to fall down when a slap landed on him.

"Because you didn't get anything today, then there's no dinner for you." Claire slams the door, leaving Rito in a bad shape.

Not long after, the door was pushed back from the outside. The face of a little girl was seen from the door. The little girl who was about ten years old came carrying a basin filled with warm water and a piece of cloth. He rests near Rito, rubbing his face and some parts of Rito's body with a cloth and warm water that he carries.

"Sorry, Molly. I'm troubling you again, and thanks." Rito whispered softly. Molly, the little girl was unmoved, unable to answer.

Silent. There was no conversation for a while after that. Molly, who was almost finished pollinating Rito's body, was silent for a moment. Gadia looked like she wanted to say something, but her mouth felt heavy to open.

"What's wrong? If you have something to say, just say it. You don't have to feel that way." Rito sighed softly.

"We can also sleep on the side of the road and find work. Although I know it won't be easy, but at least it's likely that it's still better than having to live in a place like this." Molly looked up, staring in Rito's face that was covered in wounds. It was very desirable for him to say that he was worried about someone who was currently in front of him. It was very desirable for him to hold the figure of Rito in his arms and let him vent everything even if only for a moment. However, he did not dare to do that. He did not dare touch "something precious" and desecrated her simply because of his selfishness.

Rito gently rubbed Molly's hair, pulling both ends of his lips, smiling.

"Calm down! As long as you're here, I promise you you won't experience what you're going through right now." Rito looked at Molly in the shade.

From a distance, there was a beautiful toddler who was limping walking. Her little hands were groping the empty air. The fully white eyeball makes him visually impaired from birth. Only black and dark can be seen by him.

"Kelly!" Molly stood up, running towards the toddler. Rito stared at his two little brothers from a distance. Molly held the toddler, kissed him affectionately. With the current environment, Molly is trying her best to replace Rito as a good nanny for Kelly.

Toddlerhood is a time that is prone to stimuli. Therefore, Molly had to take care of him physically and mentally. Rito had already realized this from a long time ago. Molly could feel she has a big responsibility, even bigger than Rito expected. Remembering him letting a ten year old child have to bear such a burden really made him feel annoyed. He must not forget the annoyance he was feeling at this moment. This feeling is proof that he still has a reason to survive.

"Molly, bring Kelly here!" Rito waved his hand. Molly ran small while holding a tiny human in her arms. Rito let out a heavy breath, looking at Kelly with concern.

"I hope I can endure your suffering, Kelly." Rito smiled wryly. Although she knew Kelly could not see the smile on Rito's face at this time. Either of these flaws should get what impression on Rito. On one side, Rito felt grateful. Kelly's shortcomings make him unable to see the world he has to live. But on the other hand, Rito felt Kelly could not be the 'self' that is completely. Whether what Rito wanted to say, he didn't care much about it either.

Rito curled up, cornered at the end of his escape. Today was an ordinary walk. Activities that continue to repeat are almost countless. Steal, be beaten, and then return to that place either with or without bringing results. Like a wheel that keeps turning. Rito hopes there will be a day when the wheels wear out and can't turn anymore. The opportunity will be used before the wheel is replaced and re-spin seoerti originally. Actually, what Rito did was just a waste. The brothel makes more money than Rito does. It looks like Rito is being played.

Back at this time. Rito became the center of attention in the crowd. The fact that her appearance signifies she is from a slum alone is against the rules. The inhabitants of the underworld were not allowed to cross the border into the upper world. Plus, Rito was caught stealing.

"See appearance. It's worth it for the bottom guys!"

"How do I get through the gate? Can't the gate be opened by force?"

"See her gaze! I think I want him to be a slave!"

The whispers that were clearly heard one by one spread to his ears. Makes him feel scared and angry. But, as yet he had no time to express his feelings, the palace guard had already come to pick him up.

The shopkeeper this time demanded Rito's actions, bringing him before the royal officials. Claire is summoned as her guardian and the court proceedings end in an underground quarantine for 3 days. Implied anger hidden from the look of Claire's face when staring at Rito. His gaze seemed to warn Rito of something he did not know. Something that threatens him from behind the shadows.
