first mission.

Rito begins a draining workout with Damond on the first day of setting foot in the Ghetto. Rito repeatedly did the same exercise and repeatedly fainted.

Instead of feeling increasingly stronger, Rito even felt pain all over his body. On the fifth day of training, Rito no longer does physical exercise. Damond told him to focus on which training for one day.

"Remember what kind of circulation training you've learned. Focus your mind and feel which one is flowing in your body. It's free to have a body as strong as steel if you can't master the circulation of mana." Damond shouted in his hoarse voice. Rito did not respond to that as he was concentrating his mind to feel the circulation of mana within his body.

"Good!" Damond smiled in satisfaction when he saw the faint aura sticking out of Rito's body.

Rito could feel it. An extremely refreshing feeling as if his entire body was being reconstructed. The pain and fatigue that had been weighing on him had also slowly disappeared.

"That's enough!" Damond patted hard on Rito's back, making his concentration scatter instantly. But Rito was more surprised by the current condition of his body that felt very light.

"Hows it? Mastering circulation where it is necessary, right?" Damong snorted softly to see Rito who had jumped up and down.

"Yes! This is awesome!"

"Then your training will be doubled." Damond grinned wide, revealing a row of yellowed teeth.

"Ah, fuck!" Rito's carefree face instantly turned sour and shabby.

Seven days passed just like that since Rito arrived at this place. Now is the day he will receive his first mission to test how well he deserves to be in the Ghetto.

Lexy, a tomboyish woman who was the leader of the Ghetto, came to the meeting room carrying a large bag of gold coins.

"Rito, your first mission wasn't too difficult. A few days ago we had a request from an underworld person to save his son who was in the residence of one of the nobles. Your job is to save the girl. But if you see something and feel like doing whatever it is, do it." Lexy inhaled her cigarette quietly, then healed the smoke right in front of Rito's face.

"See something?" Rito asked in the middle of his cough that became due to cigarette smoke.

"You'll know what you mean when you get there."

"Wait, am I alone?"

"Of course not! Ballut and Alesha will help you."

After Lexy said that, she left Rito in the meeting room with a bag of gold coins brought by her.

Not long after Lexy's shadow disappears behind the door, Alesha comes from her right side along with a thin man who dresses up as a woman.

"Some menor." Rito muttered softly while shuddering amusedly. The man who was with Alesha was currently wearing a maroon-red lipstick color with round red cheeks on both sides. Plus the bright purple eyeshadow added a strange impression on his white face.

"Rito introduce this guy next to me his name is Ballut he's the one who's going to be with us on this mission, and Ballut introduce this guy his name is Rito."

Alesha ran towards Rito and immediately introduced the person next to her.

After introducing the person standing next to her Alesha immediately informed the details of her mission and gave a picture of the girl's form. Alesha asserted that the mission would be very dangerous because many guards were guarding for a full day in the noble's place and had to be completed before sunrise.

"Look, that's where the savage nobleman lives." Alesha said with an angry facial expression.

"How should we go next? There are many guards guarding the residence." Rito asked as he pointed towards the guards with a puzzled expression.

They enter in alternately. Starting from Alesha who will be the guide, then Rito, then Ballut to be the last and close the gate.

A voice that sounded like a bursting bubble sounded rather loud. It was a voice that came out when the teleportation gate was closed.

"Who's there!?" One of the guards who heard the voice focused his gaze. He realized there was an intruder trying to break through.

But the guard had not been able to confirm the face of the intruder, suddenly a sickle-shaped weapon floated and immediately the head of the guard rolled on the floor.

"We need to hurry! The other guards will definitely be here after hearing the guard's scream."

After a while the guards with full sets of armor came and were followed by the captain of the guards with the appearance of a gorilla who came with a gripping aura.

"What the fuck?! Which vile bastard did this murder? find the culprit!"

Said the guard captain with a very angry facial expression.

Taking advantage of the uproar, Rito, Alesha, and Ballut rush to find the kidnapped woman carefully so as not to be caught by the guards and servants.

After some time passed for the search, they found nothing. They circled around in the noble residence, but the result was nil.

"Damn it, if this continues we will not be able to find the woman! All right, if this is how we split up so we can quickly find the target of our mission." Rito gave advice to both colleagues while staring at them firmly. Alesha and Ballut nodded signaling they agreed with Rito's suggestion.

They also split in various directions. They did not know that any of them would face danger when they separated.

"All right, I'm going to dungeon." Rito muttered without knowing what he would see when he got there.

After Rito reached the stairs to the basement, Rito smelled a fishy smell. How shocked he was by what he was seeing now. He saw a noble who had a thin body dry like a drug user accompanied by two large-bodied guards was torturing some people. Most likely they were slaves bought at the farm.

"What the fuck?! " Rito was stunned to see that. He had a facial expression that seemed to be in disbelief with what he saw. So shocked, Rito's voice sounded in their ears.

"Well, who are you?" The nobleman asked in an arrogant tone while staring hatefully at Rito. For a moment, Rito was afraid, but he dismissed feelings that he thought were not important in the current situation.

"What did you do to them?" Rito asked with reddened eyes.

It was only natural for Rito to feel angry at this moment. He was witnessing something extremely inhumane right before his eyes.

A man was tied to a large wooden wheel like a waterwheel and turned and bundled with hot iron. What Rito saw at this moment was so cruel that he never thought that there was such vile torture.

"Who are you? How did you get in here?! Damnit damnit! Were those stupid guards not even able to properly carry out such a foolproof task?" The nobleman hissed quietly at the end of the sentence.

"Basic demon!" Rito muttered while trying to hold back his anger.

Right after Rito muttered, the noble ordered his two bodyguards to kill Rito. Seeing the two knights advance and draw their swords towards him, Rito spontaneously pulled the sword from his sheath.

One of the advanced knights signaled the start of the sword clash between Rito and one of the knights. With sword techniques and circulation techniques which are already experts, the knight easily dropped Rito's sword which could be said to be a beginner in sword techniques and only made use of which circulation technique he had mastered.

Rito clucked softly knowing his attack was easily blocked, but he started to put up the horses. The sound of a clash between the two swords came back. So loud the sound made the guards who were not far from the place immediately arrive underground.

"Damn! I could die before Alesha and Ballut arrive."
