57 Eps. Dilemmas

Naya patted her chest to ease her surprise, She sighed for a while and then spoke, saying,

" Astagfirullah Pak Until surprised me," said Naya, without looking at Ares, the man who had surprised him.

" Oh you're shocked, sorry. I just want to know why you're here?" ares said, the man stood in front of Naya while putting his palms in his pants pocket.

" Oh, this again there is a need, a friend looking for a boarding place," replied Naya while circulating her gaze looking for her co-worker who had gone somewhere.

" Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, you're okay, right?" asked Aries with a frown.

Maybe she thought after yesterday's incident, getting Naya into trouble with her husband so she needed to make sure that Naya was okay.

" Thank God, sir. I'm fine, how's Yoni doing is he okay now? who's she at home with?" Naya asks back, he starts to look agitated because now is the time he has to work.

" Yoni with his grandmother, he's good How does the story go he could have fallen yesterday? I'm sorry I haven't had the time to ask why he got that wide wound?" Ask Ares maaih in the same position.

" I'm sorry sir, I'm not careful, let Yoni play by myself I was wrong not to take good care of him. Again forgive me,"

"No need to ask," Ares said calmly.

Then Naya began to tell the incident that made Yoni fall, which is because Yoni ran around, then I don't know what caused him to slip and finally fall.

No one knew that there was a broken ceramic floor. Until his knee was hit by a fragment of pointed ceramic parts to make his skin that was still soft was injured.

" Naya let's go home" said Naya's co-worker to suddenly appear out of nowhere.

He took Sela's hand and then passed away leaving Aries looking at them with a questioning gaze.

" Sir, I go first yes" said Naya, saying, He said as he walked.

" Where the hell were you?" naya asked curiously after they were quite a distance away from Ares.

" I'm sorry, my stomach hurt so I rushed to the back, you waited a long time huh?But who was that man by the way? he's quite handsome, knowing me" said Naya's co-worker, embracing his shoulder.

Naya looked at him and smiled, saying, Naya,

"Why didn't you just meet him, and I'm sure I'm gone, you're weird" smiling.

" I'm ashamed, after all, now definitely in the restaurant is rame. Hurry up, rather than later we get angry with Ms. Nha" Naya's co-worker said by speeding up their steps.

-

At the restaurant there were already some customers who were seen coming to the place to fill their hungry stomachs in the morning

"Where are you guys from, why is this day just coming? pity the chef to help serve customers," said Ms. Nha, with a dislike eye toward 2 people who just came.

Ma'am Nha, after speaking like that approached Naya and said,

"Naya Come with me," Na Ma, pulling Naya's hand, led her into her private room.

"Sit down" said Buna after himself sitting on one of the chairs in the room.

Naya obeyed Bu Nha's orders, while tidying up her already slanted hood. Then he looked at Ms. Nha with a serious look as if he knew that this fat woman would talk about something important with him.

" Naya, to be honest with Bude, what happened to your household, Why do you carry this many bags while working, This is your bag right?" said Bu Nha while pointing at the suitcase and bag in the room.

" Yes, this is mine, how can it be here, I was simple in mushola," said Naya with a shy smile, "There's nothing, bude."

"You can't take this much stuff out of your house otherwise nothing happens, right?" ask mom Nha.

Naya nodded and finally she told Bu Na everything she experienced yesterday. There is nothing covered up and there is no lie in his tone.

Naya said honestly because she thought that Bu Nha already knew what happened to her, especially so far, Ms. Nha did understand about her family and her in-laws.

" So now where are you going, where do you have a place to live?" ask Bu Nha, concerned.

"I was late because I made sure when I came home I would stay there" Naya said.

" Why didn't you say? if you say I won't scold you," said Bu Nha feeling guilty.

" It's okay, bude is my boss, so it's only natural that I'm wrong Bude is angry" Naya shut up for a moment and said again,

"Bude please don't tell my friends or anyone about my current status" Naya said.

'My status as a widow lest anyone know Ms Nha, you are the key Please don't gossip about me'

The reason for gossip about others, for a woman, is the opening words let alone gossip about the husband, it seems like it is a hobby, even as if gossip is their life.

" Why?" asked Bu na astonished, he looked at Naya fixedly.

Status as a widow, has been the biggest scourge and very scary for Naya, she has been principled to marry only once in a lifetime but who would have thought that getting a test like this.

Moreover being a widow, it never crossed Naya's mind at all. That name was so horrible for him. A dilemma for a widow, in the midst of a society where she would be perceived as a threat. Especially for mothers who have husbands in a housing complex because for them a widow can be a teaser for their husband.

Moreover, working in a restaurant that will always meet many people, including many men. Naya is just trying to keep herself from something unwanted. Like being seduced by an irresponsible person just because he knows that he is a widow.

Nay is still in the period of iddah but will not the period of iddah also end? This then makes Naya try hard to cover her true identity, including Ares.

Naya then smiled at the buna and slowly replied

" Mom I'm ashamed if anyone knows I'm not married and I don't want to be someone else's gossip,"

"But we can't lie forever either, can we? said Ms. Nha as she walked out of the room and Naya followed behind her, saying, Naya,

" When it's about shut up, it's easy. But you have to take care of yourself" replied Ms. Na, walking towards the cashier's desk.

While Naya ya go to the kitchen doing activities as usual. When he reached the kitchen he met a co-worker who had accompanied him to find a boarding place he smiled at Naya, then asked, asking,

" You got to be angry, are you bude?"

" Ah, no. Bude just want to talk, ask about my mother-in-law, are they friends, "original answernaya.

" If the man you met was your friend too? how does it seem familiar?"

" I told you, didn't I! He's not my friend. Tau not he is a special subscription Bu Nha, often dinner or lunch here, if you want acquaintance, yes acquaintance later if he eats here," replied Naya lazy.

" But I'm ashamed to know what dong is going to be?"

" Why be ashamed, now is the time for emancipation?" Naya said as she left her friend just like that.

Emancipation has existed since time immemorial, even since the time when the prophets were born. The word emancipation or often referred to as gender equality is actually a form of courage from a woman.

Usually, women only work at home and are not shown, the word emancipation is then combined so that the role of women who are usually not shown, become someone who can be highlighted or involved in various things, because women are basically capable of doing as men can.

One example is Siti Khodijah, the wife of His Majesty Muhammad she was one of the women who emancipated in her day. Evidently when he proposed to the Prophet to be his husband and also he was a famous and wealthy businessman.

It also happened before in the story of the emancipation of a woman named Aqila. This is the story of emancioation in expressing his feelings and love for Abdullah the father of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Aqila was a woman who lived in the days before the Prophet was born. She was a woman of Mecca, who believed strongly in the prophecy of the plots of the time.

The soothsayers of that time said there would come a time when the city of Mecca would be filled with light and that light would shine from a descendant of the Quraysh. Aqila listened to the words of the clairvoyant enthusiastically.

At the same time Akila heard someone shouting,

" they've come!"

" Who are they you referring to?" aqila asked in curiosity.

" they are caravans that came from Sham, it seems like they brought great profits from their trade!" answer that guy.

Aqila waited for the group to approach with anxious hopes. After the group was close, she saw a tanpan man with a face covered in light until he was fascinated. Then he felt that the man that the soothsayer meant would bring light to the city of Mecca, considering that the man was Abdullah, one of the descendants of the Bani Quraysh.

In the entourage Abdullah brought a beautiful woman beside him, walking with him. He was the woman he had just married, a few days before the journey home from the trade in the land of Sham, the woman was his wife Fatimah or his future mother to the Prophet Muhammad. She was a Sham woman whom Abdullah had married.

Without hesitation Aqila approached Abdullah with a very sweet smile, she held Abdullah's hand leading him all the way to the side of the road, out of the caravan, then she said,

" Hi Abdullah marry me!"

This is a story from a story about emancipation. Although this does not represent everything about the nature of emancipation, at least the word emancipation is not too foreign because it has existed since ancient times.

-

It was late in the afternoon, Naya's work time was over but she deliberately did not go home soon, waiting for all her comrades to leave and she deliberately delayed her return. He waited for the dark day so that he could go to his boarding house quietly without fear of being discovered by some people who might know him.

The restaurant was closed and all the employees had left the restaurant, then Naya packed her bag and then came out of the restaurant after saying goodbye to Bu Na.

He walked slowly to the boarding house not too far from the restaurant. Dragging his suitcase at a fast pace.to get to that place, he had to pass through a narrow alley whose side was filled with rented houses or boarding houses lined up.

'Ahk finally here I was alone away from my parents and had no husband. Maybe if I could ask God what kind of destiny is this? but no, Allah is Omniscient and He is not wrong to give His test to His servant. O God forgive me if I am wrong in your trials'

At the same time, there was a man coming back down from his car. He had just turned the car he was riding into the street. For the sake of seeing Naya walking with her suitcase and bag she decided to go down and follow Naya from behind.

He continued to follow until he knew the woman had stopped in one of the boarding rooms. Fari in the distance the man saw Naya pensively in front of the door as if hesitating about to step.

Naya finally opened the door and she closed the door again and as soon as it closed she leaned against the door, then sagged down and she squatted on the floor crying.

The man who saw it approached the door. He intended to knock on the door but immediately broke his intention from hearing the sound of crying from behind the door. The chanting was clear enough to hear, a sign that the person in the room was crying quite loudly.

' Actually what happened, what you have experienced until you now live here, Is it true because of yesterday, Is it all because of me?'

After a long time Naya cried as if her tears were already dry. The sound of a phone ringing from inside his bag, he picked up and received the call quickly.

" Hello Dad, how are you" Naya said as she put the phone in her ear.

Apparently his father called. Since the death of her mother and her father later remarried, Naya has rarely visited her. Having a stepmother moreover she now has a sister from another mother makes it awkward. He only visited his father on holidays or when his father asked him.

" Dad is sick now, you haven't visited him in a long time. I hope you want to look at her now, she asks you. Go home if you have time" said a woman across the phone.

It was ah her stepmother in a soft voice already called Naya using her father's phone.

" Mom, is Dad seriously ill? Maybe I can see it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow" Naya said with a sad face.

"No, not bad. But you better keep coming to make your dad happy" said the voice from behind the phone. Naya is the closest child to him.

" God willing I will come tomorrow" Naya said, ending her call.

Naya kept her phone and she stood up to clear the contents of her suitcase, when there was a knock on the door.

'Who's coming in these nights'

Naya opened the door, she frowned when she saw a person standing in front of her with a timid smile.

"Naya, can I have your boyfriend's phone number, then?"
